My Mom and I made it a spa day for my 45th Birthday. My friend Nicole is the best manager in the world, as she set up our appointments and even had a Happy Birthday Michelle sign done up for the relaxation room.(I couldn't help but sneak my cell phone in there to get a picture of it) My mineral bath and massage from Gloria was wonderful and my Mom's massage from Ashley was awesome. Make sure if you are a recent cosmetology school graduate or even a beginner unt he industry here in the albany area don't bother applying. The website says they are willing to train. or at least that's what your told during the I interview process. But yet if you try to follow up here's what happens.. the girl g manger tells you I'll call you later today and then you try to follow up and yet three weeks later they aren't even professional enough to tell you you didn't get the position. I would Think that if an owner contacts you directly for an interview and the business is quote on quote supposedly five star that the community jcarikn process wouldn't be so obscure... Read Less

Visited you guys for pedis with my friend. I have terrible callouses because I'm a barefoot always type of girl. They made my feet super smooth and amazing. You can tell how much the staff cares to make everyone's experience great. A very calming spa. Which is everything that a spa is supposed to be. The relaxation lounge was so beautiful. Complimentary snacks and drinks in lounge chairs that we wish we could have in our home! I love how the room overlooks the park. Had a outstanding facial on three different occasions with Heather, then Carrie, at the Saratoga branch and with Amy at the Colonie branch! I highly recommend the Vitamin C facial. Can I say amazing. The place is clean and has a relaxing vibe. While you wait for your massage therapist your waiting in the relaxation room (fusion water, teas, cookies and fruit). I created this gmail account JUST to post this review, my girlfriend and I went to get a spa pedicure and the monthly special massage, first we couldn't find parking which is expected but we finally found a spot, went in and started our spa pedicure, which started with two very nice women, the hour pedicure consisted of feet touching NOT feet massages, barely had a scrub, followed by an AWFUL paint job, would you leave with paint on your cuticles ? I was nice let it go fine it happens, then the little toe separaters smeared two of my nails, immediately following the pedicure ( which she didn't spray the drying spray on my nails only my gfs) we walked up stairs where I smeared the toe nails more and she told me " I think it's fine" OK, got upstairs to the spa room where you wait and "relax" until your specialist comes and gets you, but don't worry you have a fabulous view... of homeless men (very sad) walk back and forth to the benches at the pond.... to finally saying "'if the pedicure was that bad I'm sure my massage will be worse let's go" so we went down and proceeded to tell them we weren't going to get our massages, showed them how awful my toes looked and how we drove forty five minutes to get an over priced horrible pedicure we weren't going to waste more money on a massage, they agreed the toes were bad and offered to fix them... what are you going to fix? The whole experience was bad, if I could upload my pictures to show how awful my toes were I would. But don't worry guys if you have an awful experience and have awful pedicure they will take a "few bucks" off the total and "email the owner" so needles to say I won't go back and I will stick to my $25 pedicure at a nail salon rather then a spa, Sincerely the extremely pissed off customer who over paid. I had a gel manicure with Kay and she did wonderful, I got several compliments on it all day long! The makeup artists here are wonderful (Carrie and Olivia are the two I have had experience with) and we came here for my sisters wedding hair and makeup. I also had gel nails done recently and was very pleased. Make sure you go up to the relaxation room if you have time, it's great back there. Read Less

I had THE worst $28 manicure a few weeks ago. Hands soaked in iced cold water, no cuticle oil, pushed back so hard that has damaged one of my nail plates, tech literally pulled on & away from cuticles with nippers rather than snipping & I sat there like an idiot only because the owner was in that day & I just didn't have it in me...the nail tech was going out on maternity leave, so I let it slide. $28 and my time WASTED. To boot, I have my nail license & the tech knew it, so it is clearly that she just doesn't know any better!! Read Less
