I really wanted to love this place since the ambience is so fun and chic. They’re not very upfront about their prices. When I got a pedicure, they handed me a menu and told me to pick one. The first and cheapest option was the $35 with callous removal. The sign at the front says pedicure $28 so I asked them about the basic pedicure and they begrudgingly said okay, but kept pushing the other services. I went back to just get my ANC removed, I wanted my nails to breathe a little bit. I told them I did not want a manicure, just wanted the removal and for my nails to be cleaned up. I did not get color, didn’t get a hand massage, etc. But they did clean up my nails okay. I was charged $21 total for this service which seemed crazy to me. I knew the removal was $5 but they charged me a full manicure fee to simply shape my nails (which they didn’t do a great job at, some were square and some were round.) Even after I kindly pushed them about this charge, they said I got everything a manicure gets (not true). Pedicure didn’t last long and honestly didn’t look any better than what I could have done. The extra $7 for the callous treatment was pointless as it was the worst one I’ve ever gotten. I have decided to “vote” with my dollars and not return. If you want to go to a good salon with honest people, go to Iris Nails by BWP in Wilton, just about 5 minutes away from City Nails and FAR less crowded. Read Less

Totally overpriced (and I normally get my mani pedi in Manhattan or Brooklyn), and my nail technician was extremely rude at the end.  A different person did my mani vs. pedi.  I guess she felt I didn't leave a big enough tip and said to me "the tip is for 2 people"; who does that???. Great way to make a customer feel awkward. She had a very nasty attitude after I paid.  Sorry- if you can't give me the same mani and pedi person that's not my fault. Seems to me every time i come even with appointments and when first opened i get skipped i also noticed y’all dont trained your front desk girls how to talk to people or how to go in order.!! Y’all go threw the receptionist like crazy! Y’all rush your techs so most the time it’s a mess or not what we wanted then you over charge to fix what your techs messed up! Maybe hire techs that can speak better English and this wouldn’t be an issue. Prices are good tho when done right! Read Less

Rarely have I found a nail salon that is so clean and pretty on the inside and does an AMAZING job. I always get either acrylic or ANC tips and they do great. Very nice staff and gives u free coupons! And not that pricey for how well they do them! 10/10 recommend! Read Less

Tonight after like 10 different places I have gone too over the last 7 years I call to find out where this place was well the nice guy on the phone Steve told me where it was and how to get there and even prices over the phone.. so since such the great service I got just over the phone i then decide to drive there but... not knowing they where to be closed at 8pm i arrived at 7:32 pm on the dot.. as I park and then walk into this wonderful nail spa and I mean this when I say that everything was clean people where friendly and even helped me pick some amazing anc colors so anna did my nails and I have to tell you she did an amazing job and there beautiful I can't wait to even just go for my fill that I actually scheduled a appointment and ivee never done thats before at a nail place but his is definitely far the best place in Sara toga springs ny Read Less

They cancelled my pedi appt that I booked 2 weeks ago because they were busy but then again the front desk lady was taking last call on pedicure before they closing since I took too long doing my full set they said come tomorrow. Full set took 2 hrs and still manage to ruin it because she forgot to put clear on top and crome came off. So I went this morning and bad attitude by front desk and nail lady. The owner charged me for my pedi and told her that she had a great business although front desk lady was very confrontational with me and co-worker attitude was disgusting and owner pretend to be on the phone and I did not even see her dial out avoiding what I had to say. I’ve been going to 3D for years and the new management is horrible. Had an appointment at 9:30 for a new full set and pedicure. I got there at 8:00am I knew it would be crowded! Had my pedicure with Katy she’s amazing and was to get my set with Vicki! I was almost finished my pedi I alerted the new rude receptionist I was almost done and would be next for Vicki which would be correct this rude trick receptionist started to tell me I had to wait because people were waiting for Vicki. Well so was I except I was waiting in the chair getting my feet done there was no one ahead of me on the sign in sheet for Vicki and she still wanted to argue I raised up and she was then aware I was not playing and Vicki did my nails! I'm very Picky on Shape and style and she exactly how I like them !!! she is excellent and professional and One nail Artist with experience and professionalism !!! i've had one bad experience here with a nail Tech who wanted to do my nails her way and if didn't go well .. I came in as a walk in and only waited 20 minutes to be taken by the nail technician. They do really good nails! I showed her what I wanted & my nails looked exactly the way I asked. I would definitely keep coming back if I lived in the state. Only down side is the smell of the chemicals before you even step foot inside. Read Less

Got there at 12:30 was skipped while I was in the bathroom. Crap service. Annoying customers demanding to be seated I had been waiting a lot longer than them but cause they made a fuss got seated before me everyone was being skipped or crossed off the list by accident. The staff are very rude!!! I went to get a full set and a pedicure and waited for an hour and a half which was not a problem because I understand it's busy but you would think that with customers waiting you would get quality service nope the tech at table 15 put my nails on crooked and when I told her the nails were crooked and asked her to fix them she got a major attitude and told me no! I didn't know this is how you treat someone who is paying you for a service! Not cool... then on top of that she tried to over charge me 27$ for plain nails no designs or anything medium length after I complained and went to another table to have my nails fixed the lady who fixed my nails charged me 22$ you would think that the price would have been consistent but no miss attitude at table 15 over charges people! Just to be a bitch! I won't be coming back! I use to come here a lot but I started to notice the staff acts like this with certain customers I even witnessed a tech telling a kid she wouldn't fix her nails and the kid had to have her mom make the lady fix her nails ! Was told that it would be 45 minute wait that turn into two hours after I got skipped at least by 3 other people my pedicure wasn't done correctly I had to ask the lady to scrub my foot cause she was just trying to get me out of her chair. I was literally in and out of the pedicure chair in 10 minutes, then I went to go sit and wait for my nails only to be skipped waited 2 hours all together to get in the seat and when I finally got in a seat, I got a full set and it was just a mess it did not look like they were coffin there's gel all over and not to mention she applied gel without asking but charged me for it. horrible horrible experience at the end I wasn't even satisfied with what I left with, they're a mess, off in sizes and literally have no shape from the side view other that straight Read Less

The nail tech named Loan (Lawn in English) is very rude. She was in a rush to get to the next customer and remind you, I had an appointment. Loan rushes me with everything even down to picking my color and washing my hands. This was very poor and unprofessional service. When I asked her coworkers for her name they were happy to give it up and said that she is a rude person. 3D nails, be careful who you hire. Made an appointment 3 days early to take my daughter to get her nails done for her bday. They were surprised when we walked in. We ended up getting split up. We didnt get to sit by eachother, which really bummed us out because it was her first time. The 2 men that did our nails didnt speak any english, but the guy I was with had no problem having a heated loud conversation with everyone in his own langauage, stopping many times to continue his conversation. When I asked to have my nails shorter for work he barely acknowledged that I spoke to him. Honestly, I dont know if he knew what I said. When he asked if I wanted to pay, he told me it was $35/each for an acrylic set when online it clearly says $30. He told me the total was $70. Not wanting to make a scene, I pulled out $80, to which he said again, its $70 so $35/each. Implying I better give him a bigger tip. Unacceptable! I told him it only says $30 online, of course he didn't understand but knew I was angry so he got me $4 of nail cash..like i would ever go back. I had a lovely hot stone massage with pedicure. Shortly after leaving I noticed the polish on my big toe had smeared. It wasn't fully dry apparently. I returned and the same woman( She looked like a 15 year old girl) fixed it. Another nail tech came over to me after a few minutes examined my foot and told me it was dry. I knew it wasn't long enough. I shook my head but she insisted that it was fine. I left only to have it smear again. I returned in 5 minutes. My original technician fixed it again and I waited until we both were sure it was dry. Other times this has not been a problem. I like this place because they are professional and it is clean. I've gotten average pedicures here a half dozen times in the past. Today I received the worst pedicure of my life at the establishment. The girl was rushed, rough and didn't use any cuticle oil. She also didn't switch back and forth between feet which meant that one foot was unable to soak in the foot bath at all. She cut my toenails uneven and crooked and left dried polish all around my nails. With so many nail salons in the area, I will not be returning to this one!!! Read Less

The decor and atmosphere is nice and professional and the employees are quite polite (although some more than others). The manager, Christina, is fantastic and is great at handling any complaints or issues (I wasn't satisfied with one of my nails). I had Anna who gave me a cat-eye gel manicure and even though she was not fluent in English she was able to communicate with me clearly and my nails turned out great. I ended up at this place when all the places downtown were booked till the end of the day and I didn't want to wait for a pedicure. The place was very clean and friendly. Although it was very busy, they fit me in and I never felt like the woman doing my pedicure was rushing. The leg massage is really nice and she did a good job with my polish. I got the callus removal added on and next time I would skip that. It looked like it did a little bit to improve my calluses and dead skin but not as much as I would have liked for an extra $7. Tried this nail salon for the first time today and was not impressed. The decor is beautiful and appears to be very clean. But my pedicure was below average and definitely not worth $28 which is more than most other salons in the area. The man that did my feet seemed like he would rather me ANYWHERE else. He barely touched my feet. Maybe scrubbed them with the pumice for 5 seconds each!!  I felt like I was totally inconveniencing him.  While my toes were drying I tried to get his attention a few times to check if they were dry but he was completely unaware and sitting using his phone. Overall I thought the staff was very unprofessional. It's a shame because it's really a nice atmosphere. I will go back to Hello Nails in the future- can't beat the service and price. Read Less

I'm giving a five star because of how the manager handled a problem. It's very rare to find excellent customer service in any industry, but most definitely in nail salons. My daughter went with a friend to have ANC done. Her friend's nails were beautiful. My daughter's nails were awful - thick, rough, inconsistent, chunky....just awful. I went back with my daughter and spoke with Christina. Christina was immediately attentive and immediately focused on finding a solution. She didn't offer excuses but instead offered to fix the problem which is exactly what we wanted. She kindly offered to fix them right then and there but we couldn't - her response was accommodating and kind. She scheduled at my daughter's convenience. My daughter just came home after having them redone and they are as you would expect - beautiful. Apparently, Christina was there and personally ensured the result was as it should be. The shop is very nice and clean. However, they are not very friendly. I had gel toenail Polish that needed to be removed and I was the talk of the shop. Seems like the girl complained the whole time and even called other workers over to look. It was very uncomfortable. If you plan on coming here for a good experience you will be highly discouraged. Felt rushed, not a word of English or conversation with the customer. An employee keep walking around swatting at flys and letting the dead lay on the floor. Other employees sat in the unused massage chairs with their shoes on the towels that guest would normally have their feet on. I'm pretty sure they won't replace them. Second time coming in for pedicure and ANC manicure and very happy with the results. Vicky did a wonderful job on my toes and gave a great massage - it felt very pampering for a basic pedi! Jenny was going to do my mani but a bossy customer came in and demanded she do her nails so I was passed off to Lisa. The environment of this place is super cool so right away I felt like I was in a higher end salon. The prices are posted and a regular manicure is $16 which is a little more than I normally pay, so I expected at least a hot stone hand massage or five minute neck massage, but nope. Jenny did an excellent job on my manicure so no complaints there! My friend got a mani/pedi and the woman watched her write in a tip and then told her to give more for tip which is totally unprofessional in my opinion.So not sure I'll be back.
