A horrible experience as soon as I walked in the door.  The desk manager was unwelcoming, rude and did not communicate that I had to wait 30 minutes.  I had a gift certificate for a pedi and mani.  It was readily apparent that not being a regular would affect the service I was extended.  A pleasant woman who apparently does back massages at the drying station was given the opportunity to try out a customer.  Oh yes . . . that was me.  The worst mani and pedi I have ever had.  My nails were not filed evenly or in the square shape I requested.  The pedicure was no better.  She raced through both services and used cool towels on my feet and hands.  I will never return to Coco Nail Spa.  If I get another gift certificate it will go directly into my blue recycling bin. I am a regular customer at Circle Nails. I have been so for the past 8 years. I wasn't too happy with having to wait and then leave as I had booked an appointment at a time recommended by the staff during my break. On arrival I was asked to take a seat and wait which is fair enough however the waiting pretty much went to the point where I had to leave in order to get to work on time. Please don't over promise your customers in order to get them into the shop. The quality and staff are great but the -1% will add up eventually. I have been going here for a year and a half. I have tried a lot of different people and have had mostly good experiences, but recently I went to Yumi! She is amazing! Would rate with zero stars if that was an option. Walked in for a gel manicure and Yina destroyed my nails. She had no patience for the gel to soak, so after a couple of minutes she began scraping the still hard finish and then filed the nails so hard with the electric file that they are now paper thin. Went back to complain and they suggested that I go back to regular manicures for six months until my nails grow stronger again. Read Less

I had Kelly she was super nice and ok with a pedicure... I personally like an almost deep tissue very strong massage on my feet... she convinced me to do their honeymoon pedicure spa special and it wasn't anything special the only amazing thing that came out of it was at the end you got a complimentary 10 min back massage which was amazing!!! I was contemplating writing a bad review at first but I'm not because I ended up being a happy customer in the end. Went in for both a mani/pedi and was greeted warmly by the woman who works at the desk. The place is big and not loud at all. However, the person I was given barely cut my cuticles, didn't put my hands in warm water, just went straight to painting my nails. It felt rushed the entire time and my experience was nothing but unmemorable. There was also a visible space between my cuticle and where the nail polish started and the end result looked like I had them done a week prior. I went up to the desk person to ask if I could come in the next day to have them fixed and she was extremely understanding and also noticed the same mistakes I was complaining about. Went back again today and everything was SO much better. Jini did my nails and I could not have been happier. She was meticulous, took her time, cut any excess skin that I had and left my nails looking fabulous. I think they look the best they've ever looked after a manicure. I wanted to get a gel extension manicure (instead of acrylics they use gel). The technician seemed very knowledgeable and explained the process. It was my first time getting nail extensions. I got a free shoulder rub as well which was REALLY good. I liked my nails however the base of th nails weren't really done right. One nail had cracked and come off less than two weeks after. Also my cuties weren't pushed so it was apparent within a few days and my nails grow really slow. In the photos you can see the base of the nail wasn't filed so there's jagged or square edges instead of it being all files like an oval near the cuticle. That being said I would go back for a regular gel manicure. I looked at other people getting their nails done and it looked great. I just wanted the gel extension to have some length for an event. Secondly, I find it hilarious that a bunch of 12vies are causing dramas on social media... little do they know how much EVERYONE loves this place and the people who work there. Call ahead to make an appointment - if June is not there DON'T GO! June has a way of managing the differences between cultures and her English is perfect. She is super friendly and makes the experience very enjoyable and relaxing. She manages the flow beautifully and keeps things moving. The last few times I've gone June has not been there and there has been a vast difference in the experience. The overall energy of the other employees is short, rude, unhelpful and unaccommodating. There has been a lot of turn over lately and even as a regular who has been going there weekly for years there is not a friendly face in the room, so seeing June makes all the difference. I just left there furious because I was asked three times if I needed change to tip - so insulting! If I don't see June soon I may be switching to Muse in Greenwich - the male massage therapist there gives an amazing chair massage! At Coco, Stacey is great, but I'm pretty sure the massage therapists aren't licensed and they seem to be very tired and overworked. UUUUggghh! I had asked for a specific type of manicure and called over the phone and they said ofcourse they can do it. I get there and the woman at the front desk was friendly and informative, they sat me down and had me soak my nails since i had gel nail polish on. I sat and waited for 15 minutes...anyone who gets gel manicures knows it should take 5 min tops to do so. So i waited patiently until it became ridiculous and had to ask when i was going to be taken care of. They finally had a guy come over and he started on my nails, he was SO ROUGH with filing my nails he started to make me bleed, i jumped, i pulled my hand back and he did not blink an eye or stop being rough. If that wasnt enough he didnt know how to do the manicure i asked for, i wanted a gel manicure but i wanted it matte--all you do it put a top coat to do that. He had to ask three different people how to do it before it was done. Then there was a hair on my nail as he was doing it, i politely asked him to remove the hair, he laughed in my face and showed it to the woman next to me who said you dont like the color? I replied i like the color i just want the hair removed-- his solution was apply more top coat over the hair. Then as im drying this top coat he walks away never to be seen again. I have never ever been treated so poorly, i was amazed at their lack of attention and it was clear i was not happy and they couldnt care less.Never going back and i hope someone sees this and they either take this into consideration or if someone who works there sees this please make sure this never happens to anyone else. I have been here twice. Everyone is super friendly the moment you walk through the door. And there are so many options to choose from whether it be for nails or for back massages or even for facial enhancing. However The both times I went I believe two or three days after my nail polish started to chip off. I just wish that it lasted longer for how much I paid. I have been coming to this nail salon for over a year now. Its clean, its bright, its welcoming as well. June is amazing and friendly, she always has a smile on her face and remembers my name as well, which makes me really happy as a customer for her to remember my name considering the site gets a lot of clients. I go for gel manicures, waxing (eyebrows/face) and lashes with Tess however i havent gone back for lashes since Tess is no longer there :( (and also because my lashes have been looking fabulous lately!)Every time i have been there they have been careful and precise with their manicures and i have been satisfied every time. I have been getting my nails done regularly for about 25 years so I am extremely picky about where I go for mani/pedis and who does them.  Coco's has NEVER let me down.  From the minute I walk in the door on Saturday mornings, I am greeted with smiles from June (and whoever else is around) and it just continues until I walk out the door.  During all my services, the technicians are always top notch.   I started with Helen, who moved to Sundays which is why she is not longer doing my nails.  Then Daniel took over and now Jini takes care of my nails.  I could not be happier.  I get compliments on my nails all the time!  I get a 15 minute massage as well and always walk away feeling relaxed.  Jay and Alex are professionals who were clearly trained.  I truly feel special when I am there and cannot imagine going anywhere else!  LOVE COCO'S!!!! :) :)PS - My mother feels the same way......
