I used to go to Star Nails for pedicures just because I liked their massage chairs and the hot stones they used, even though their pedicures always started chipping after a week. But the last 2 times I had bad experiences. Actually, the time before last I went with a friend, and the girl who did my friend's pedicure (the girl's name is Nana) took a MILLION years, and my friend said it wasn't a great experience overall. I only understood why yesterday, when I went back, and got Nana. Nana gave me a pedicure in COLD water, took an hour to do it, so I missed my doctor's appointment after. She also forgot to use the hot stones that make this pedicure worth paying $18+tip for. And to top everything, because I was so late, I had to leave without drying my nails, and because I wasn't wearing flip-flops, I purchased a pair they sell in the salon. When I put them on, some of my nails got messed up. This has happened so many times in the past, and they can always just patch it up with some acetone and nail polish. Not Nana. She took all the nail polish off from 3 nails, and had to repaint my nails. I felt bad for her, but I also felt bad for me, because I was missing that doctor's appointment because of her. I called the nail salon today and tried to tell the manager about my bad experience, but she just kept repeating "you come here in person, I want to see who you are" in a very discourteous tone. I didn't want a free pedicure or anything, I just wanted to let her know of the bad experience I had, and that maybe someone should teach Nana how to give a proper pedicure. I will definitely not go back there to get my nails done. Read Less
