Went in for a hot stone massage. Not only was I left in the room at the beginning for at least 20 minutes before somebody saw me, but during this time and through the whole massage they had religious music playing. For every other massage I have received, the "mood" had been set with relaxing music. In addition, the hot stones were used incorrectly, at least compared to my other more professional massages, and the man massaging me was extremely harsh and asking me if there was a knot as he was pushing in on the knot. Shouldn't I be relaxing as the man realized for himself there was a knot? I was not an any point in time relaxed or comfortable during my massage as I should've been. So disappointed and such unsatisfactory work from this place. Although the staff is very friendly, it seems as though they do not thoroughly pay meticulous attention to details. Not only that, but the owner on more than 1 occasion, took someone in before me when I had an appointment scheduled! I’m not just talking a 5-10 min wait, it’s more like a full on service running 45min! last week I went and got tips done by the owner and she did a rush job! My nails were all not the same shape and they felt rough ( I got the powder gel). She was in such a rush she didn’t buff my nail out good and then tried to charge me FULL PRICE on a busted job. To add insult to injury she tried to say it was MY FAULT for somehow having my hand to close to my other hand that she was applying powder too. I said ummm no I had my hand hanging off the chair far away from my left hand. Ridiculous and so I will not spend another penny at this establishment. Save your money and go elsewhere people. Love this place! I've been to many other nail salons and this is the nicest and cleanest that I have seen.  The staff is always nice. They do take a little long to do your nails, but I would suggest just blocking a 2-hour segment of your day to just take in all the peacefulness of this place. I went today place is huge and clean . But have to say staff could been better .my pedi took forever cause the guy  keeped stopping my service to stare at who was walking in ( not a quick stare ) more annoying a lady was already attending the new costumer  . Moved over  to have my hands done . Keeped waiting again for ten minutes  only to have the lady be very rude insulted me three times to the point i had to be snappy back . I got the H2O pedicure which was a pricey 38 bucks. However the message was great. Jessica, the woman that rubbed my feet and calves did an excellent job and she did a full 10mins (she had a timer). She did a nice clean job when painting my toe nails. The utensils used were all fresh from a seal envelope. I also appreciate the not so in your face decor. I went here at the suggestion of the owner whom I met a restaurant! We were discussing nails and how I was fed up with my current place as they got to a point where they feel they don't need the money! I'm all about sharing the wealth and paying for service but they just got out of hand .... Lying about appointment times ...Either way I came here ... On the first day I went to scope out the place!' They took me immediately!! It's a huge place and super clean! Linda did my nails the first time' she took off the old wrap and then cut my nails down! She was awesome! I was given a gift certificate to come back....Three weeks later I showed up again wanting to makean appointment... She took me again! Came here today for the first time. I've been on w mission to find a place that does powder gel well and it's been tough. Well this place was on point. 1 it is super clean and really nice inside. One or thr nicest salon I've ever been to on Long Island. A+ for that. 2. Great customer service. I loved that there is a person at the reception desk. Other salons need to get on bored..How many times have I thought why don't other nail salons have that. They stop midway to answer calls and write down appointments supper annoying ... So happy to see this place doesn't do that 3. Jessica did my powder gel I will definitely be returning to her. 4. I got a pedicure by another girl who I wasn't crazy about. I went to get my nails done for Christmas and I enjoyed my experience there. The staff was very friendly and patient. My nail designs are awesome and I love the way it came out. I tried this place out and got a gel mani  ($30)The place is open and beautiful and very clean, but the quality is lacking...Pros: clean! They use single-use nail supplies and the place was one of the cleanest I've seen. The guy I had took his time with me, but messed up one of my nails and instead of starting over, he just painted over it and now it's darker than the rest of my nails. Cons: my guy didn't trim my cuticles, like really??? Also, there is a black fuzz on one of my nails and some of my fingers turned out bumpy. Not the best mani I've ever had, but also not the worst...They gave me a $5 gift card as a Christmas gift so I'll be back again, but if I have the same experience as I did today, I won't be back. What a great experience! From the moment I walked in I was greeted. They were very helpful and ensured I was comfortable. I started with a pedi with a ten minute massage. The prices are very decent considering location. Loved the massage chair and the girl did my toes so nice. When finished woman walked me over to Kevin who was going to do a pink and white gel set for me. He was so nice and I could tell he was in the business for awhile bc he wasn't slow or looked like he didn't know what he was doing. He was polite and we hand a bit of conversation. Asked me how I like my French tips which is great bc I do have a preference. I don't like people assuming it for me.The salon is beautiful clean and relaxing. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this place looks fabulous, but the services are terrible. I'll start with the good stuff. The place is clean. All tools are taken from a sterile package and files and buffers are all disposable. Lots of polish color options. They play nice, relaxing music and as I mentioned, the place is beautiful. Now, onto the important stuff. I had the signature facial which wasn't terrible. However, I prefer that the person giving the facial explains the products and procedure to me. The esthetician didn't do this. She took out this red zappy wand and put it on my face. It felt like it shocked my face, which of course startled me. I asked her what it was/did and I had a very hard time understanding her. I still don't know what this electrocution device does. Now, as for the mani/pedi- awful and wayy overpriced!! The leg/foot message is non-existent (unless you pay an extra $10 on top of the $30.) The girl just rubbed lotion on. She also cut my toe with the cuticle clipper (a real pet peeve of mine.) The manicure came out like crap (see pics.) it's all bumpy and I have polish on the side of my nails. So, I have a nail place I really like, but I wanted to try this place out. I paid 10 more dollars than usual for a terrible outcome! You're basically just paying for their undoubtedly high rent and fancy decor, not for better services. Read Less
