Terrible!!!!! All I can say, it's the most horrible manicure, the Asian guy was super rude and I just wanted to run from there... nails r terribly done, the color made not accurately, I feel like 10 years old kid made it.... never ever coming back, and I understand why there was no other clients... What an awful experience I had today.  The salon is not well-kept - equipment is old, shabby and not clean.  Had a young man do my pedicure.  He was nice enough.  I got home, and my polish was still gummy after almost an hour and 4 cycles under the nail dryer.  I touched the nail and the polish was like gum.  Obviously there was something wrong with the polish or something he put on the nails.  I got back in the car and drove back and showed him - he touched a nail and saw that the polish hadn't set and was gummy.  He asked why I smudged my nails.  I said I think the polish isn't right.  He had an attitude and said I didn't let it dry (even after I pointed out it had been almost an hour).   He redid my nails and after 20 minutes sitting under the nail dryer, I had him touch the nails.  They were gummy.  I told him I sat through 5 cycles of the dryer (he said 2 was what I should do)and he accused me of lying and that I had only sat through 2.  I don't believe I have ever been treated so poorly.  I will NEVER go there again.  NEVER. Health code violations. Came here with a friend and there were only two employees, understandably one had an appointment so I had to wait for my friend to be done with her manicure before I could get mine. I watched my friend get her manicure from a few feet away. When it came time for me the first thing I noticed was that the man doing my nails did not clean any of the tools between us and used the exact same ones. He even went outside for a cigarette and didn't wash his hands. That's not even the bad part. He had a bandaid on his finger that was soaked through with blood and the tip of his finger had dried blood on it. Looking more at his hands I noticed another open cut with no bandaid on it and fresh blood. I was honestly very scared that I would contract something and still am freaked out about it due to the fact that I had a couple little cuts near my cuticles. I stopped in to have my nails filled while my car was getting new tires. I thought i'd try a new salon, Opps. Let's call him smokey the texting tech was the man doing my nails. As he started doing my nails he starts texting, I ask if I should get a magazine while he's busy, he stops texting for about 15 minutes and starts textng again REALLY!! AH he's finally done with my nails and I go wash my hands to find him gone when I return to the nail station. Oh there he is he's returning from outside having a smoke break (yes in the middle of doing my nails like the texting wasn't bad enough) I'd like to pay for the nails now and go " you not get your color yet" I can't spend an other minute in this salon you may need a break between nail coats. I come here pretty frequently.  I am actually surprised that some of these other reviews are so terrible!  I am a repeat customer. Hollywood Nails is the only place that I will go to get my eyebrows waxed.  They do an incredible job, and it's consistent!  I've also had my nails done here, and always come out feeling like new!  The people here are very attentive.  If it is a busy day, you may want to call ahead and schedule an appointment. This place is unbelievably crap. I wish it had a lower rating. Sitting here right now with my daughter.Walked in for a full set for her, pedi for me. Weird guy comes from the back. Tell him, he sits her down at station, then goes and smokes a cigarette and enjoy some coffee.Her nails are started. Woman walks in for eyebrows. Stops my daughter and spent 10-15 minutes on her.Obviously not getting a pedi.To add to the horrible service, the TV is blaring on some weird Asian station. Awful service! The guy was so rude. Literally just pointed to where he wanted my feet. He got up to channel surf during my pedicure- btw all channels were in a different language! He also sighed the entire time like it was such an inconvenience to help me... Never going back! Read Less

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The customer service here is horrible. I had the technician tell me how he was glad I was a quiet customer because he hates when customers try and talk to him. On top of that they do not sanitize their equipment! It wasn't until after he was halfway finished with my nail that I noticed another technician finish with someone's nails, and start another customers nails with the same tools without cleaning them!!! I didn't even want my nails painted after that. When I asked for my nails to be sprayed and wiped with alcohol before I left, he asked why and I let him know that they didn't seem sanitary and pointed out my observations... All he said was ok! 1. Expensive. $15 for a manicure in a very drab, dirty space.2. Rough on my hands. The tools didn't look very clean, and he cut my finger while attacking my cuticles; I was bleeding afterwards.3. I wish I had read the reviews before I stopped in to get tips put on and a pedicure.  First, The decor and layout leave a lot to be desired.  Home Depot must have had a sale on Pepto-Bismol colored paint.  There is a lot of clutter and it looks like the whole room could use a good cleaning.  I had wait with my feet soaking for a half an hour while the two technicians worked on two other people.  If they had told me it would be that long, I would have went somewhere else.  The technician did an adequate job on my pedicure, but I had to ask him twice to ease up during the massage.  It hurt! Tips were put on haphazardly and crooked.  No hand and arm massage, but the technician did plop a huge glob of lotion on my hands and tell me to do it.  I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This place doesn't even deserve the one star I'm giving them, or the money I wasted on the two separate occasions that I graced them with my presence.The first time I went I had to tell the nail technician just before he went to airbrush my nails that nearly every one of my nails was crooked.  And even after he "fixed" it, they still weren't entirely straight when I got home.  Not to mention the fact that within days nearly all of them were lifting and I just ended up ripping them off myself. The second time was today, and I went in for a pedi and a polish change on my fingers.  I ask, "how much for a polish change on my fingers with the pedicure?", the technician doesn't know what I'm asking so she turns to the person next to her who responds "$31 all together".  So I ask, "how much is the pedicure alone?"  and he says "$35".  Because THAT really makes sense!  I gave up pursuing that topic after that, because it was an entirely different technician who took over the nail polishing, of which I could (and did) do a better job myself at home.  He proceeded to attempt to make my already short nails "square" and just in turn made them look crooked and weird.  And when he didn't know what I was saying when I asked him to fix it, I ended up having to file my OWN nails with HIS file.  What did I even pay for?  I just finished repainting all 10 fingers and toes myself because of the thick, bubbly polish job I walked out with.Don't waste your time or money!! I wish I could actually give this place a review, but unfortunately every time I go there they first tell me it will be a few minutes, and then ask me to come back tomorrow, and it's not even crowded!  If you're short staffed, hire more people!  There are too many competitors in the area for me to recommend this place.  It's not worth risking the chance they won't have time for you.
