My first time in this salon and I was impressed. I was unsure of what color I wanted and left it up to the tech. She gave me a French pedi and that showed me she knew what she was doing! Very rude. There is a sign on the door that says accept walk inside but I was told they can only do pedicure because they had appointments? Um excuse you..you are a nail salon. If by appointment only do by appointment only. Never heard of such stupidity and turning a customer away. Frankly I believe they are prejudice and will not get any of my money. I have never been so insulted in my life. If I need a refill and pedicure why would I accept only a pedicure? You service who comes in your shop or don't do business. Walked in on a Saturday morning, right after they opened and was told a 20 minute wait-and I'm glad I decided to stay! I've gotten ANC at a lot of local salons and this is by far the best. I drove down to Ivy Nail Spa from Lake Placid, on the recommendation of a friend. The shop was brightly lit and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly. My deluxe pedicure was sheer heaven and my manicure was perfect. I brought my mother with me and she declared her manicure, the best she’s had in 9 years of living up north. I was looking for a nail salon while on vacation in Lake George and I'm glad i choose this one rather than any other.One of the best manicures I have ever gotten.  They were very inviting to me when I walked in and they said the wait would be 20 minutes but I was able to be taken in less than 5 min.  I would definitely recommend getting an appointment during busy hours because they had to turn down a lot of walk ins when I was getting my nails done.The whole place felt clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.  The woman who did my nails did a great job.I will definitely stop in again if i am ever in the area again for another great manicure. I've been coming to IVY NAIL SPA in Queensbury for my nail for quite some times now. This place is very popular. You should book soon because they're busy. I loved the nail polish brands here. This is my first time at IVY NAIL SPA in Queensbury.I became a regular customer.I called an appointment first so as soon as I was seen, they took me in right away.They gave me a great pedicure with their newest products from famous brands.They were quick but not rush. Their work is accurate and detailed. That's how they work.It's more expensive than others but it's still fair and reasonable. Awful gel manicure! I came in on Saturday and two days later it's peeling up on the sides of most of my nails. The gel is bumpy on some of my nails because the technician messed up and didn't bother to fix them. I also had to ask her twice to clean up my cuticles - when I walked out, I was still unhappy with them. Last, I didn't see any autoclave or soak to clean the utensils and I watched her put the cuticle clipper back in the drawer without cleaning it at all. The only nail salon I will go to in queensbury/Glen's falls. The owner, tom, did my full set. He is extremely FAST (under 45 mins for full set with gel color and answered the phone 3 times) and the quality is superb. The staff is very friendly, although I have never seen more than 5 of them working at any given time. Lots of people get turned away so your best bet is to call ahead or make an apt.
