I am always disappointed when I don't make an appointment in advance and can't get my nails done when I want. Sage nail spa is worth every effort. I have not had a bad experience. There's been a few times I've had to go else where because I needed my nails done in a pinch, EVERY SINGLE TIME I've done that I've had a sense of regret. Sage goes the extra mile, which is a rarity. Maria is an angel, she will come over and tap on your shoulder and you better say yes PLEASE when she offers a complimentary back rub. All of the girls are so hard working and kind. This place rocks! Everyone is friendly and the work they do is pure perfection. My nail tech, Bella, did such a great job on my powder dip nails. There's a discount if you pay in cash and they even gave me a mini lotion for free because of the holidays. Who would have known that such an awesome and popular nail salon resides in that awkwardly placed plaza? I highly recommend the place but make sure to make an appointment because it gets super busy. Last time I go was today, they have TERRIBLE customer service. They run the place like a sweatshop, it is packed to the point where you feel uncomfortably packed in a small space, and pushing against people and can barely walk without tripping over people. The manager or owner I assumer, the asian male who is at the desk is terribly rude and hovers over all the workers. Today I couldn't decide a color for my nails and he was hurrying me and the lady doing my nails to choose a color and was extremely rude hovering over me until I choose. When I get my nails done I like to feel tended to and relaxed but that in NOT the vibe of this place. My mani and pedis are rushed and there is no customer service treatment. All the girls look miserable and all the guy is missing is a whip!! All the workers are being rushed to finish in order to tend the next client and I feel like I am in an assembly line! This is the LAST time I ever go. I have always went because I have gotten very nice pedicures and manicures compared to other places in the area but the customer service and the vibes there are terrible that it doesn't compensate for the terrible customer service from the rude manager hovering and giving dirty looks to everyone. Ok, I don't know WHAT those other people who wrote negative reviews problems were but DO NOT judge this place by their criteria!  I first came here with a friend to have my FIRST spa pedicure ever, and IT WAS AMAZING!!!  The girls were all very friendly, professional, and I had a WONDERFUL, RELAXING, fabulous afternoon of sheer bliss!  I decided to get a manicure also!  I work with animals for a living and I am very hard on my hands/nails!  Let me tell you...my nails looked FABULOUS for weeks!!!  No chipping! No splitting!  Just beautiful!!!  I cannot tell you how many times I would look at my nails in the course of those weeks afterwards, and the smile that came to my face because they made me FEEL PRETTY!!!!  I have been back again since and had the same wonderful experience!  Great work, kind ladies (if you treat people well they will treat you well), and reasonable prices.  Come see for yourself! Today I was in for a pedicure for my birthday . The service that I received was despicable. The nail technician was extremely rude and had no respect. She was literally talking about me right in front of me . She thought I didn't understand was she was saying . Well I did every word . My pedicure took a total of 10 minutes from start to finish. It was so bad I asked her not to even paint my nails . I was referred by a friend . Too bad . I am also in the service industry and would never even think of doing this to someone . I went here for the first time two weeks ago-the salon is very clean and they use fresh instruments for each client which is very important to me. I didn't have a long wait and two weeks later my pedicure and gel nails still look great. My only issue is how expensive it is here- 28 for a basic pedicure and 30 for gel nails-most places they are only 20. I want to get ANC nails soon which are usually 30 and they charge 40 there-too pricey for me. Read Less

Abysmal service.It's clean - so if that's the criteria for a good review, then standards are sadly low. What abominable customer service. If I'm going to drop $50 plus tip, I'm not going to be treated rudely and passed over for the privilege. I waited, and waited, only see people who arrived after me get served before, with no explanation. No eye contact. No response to questions. Please take notice of all the reviews about not honoring appointments and time. I didn't and regret it. I was told my pedi would be a half hour so I waited. Other women came in behind me and were taken ahead of me, they did not care that they were treating me so poorly. At $37 for a pedi I guess they don't need the money. I won't be back! Used to love this place and had actually given it 5 stars. I went in last week with over an hour before closing and asked for a gel manicure and regular pedicure - more than enough time. The woman at the desk was horribly rude and snapped you can't get both. When I asked why, she just keep repeating you can only get one. At this point I told her I would go elsewhere and she rolled her eyes. So disappointed in the customer service. I used to be a loyal customer, but I won't be back. Mediocre at best, especially considering the price. I selected the spa pedicure and manicure; it didn't even last 24 hours and I'm pretty gentle with my hands. My technician didn't spend much attention to my cuticles, and didn't do a very good job with the foot exfoliation. For what I paid, I certainly expected better experience. Read Less

Sign says "walk ins welcome" not true.  Stopped in twice only to be turned away.  Also, sign says relaxing atmosphere.  Feels more like a morgue.  Trying to get out of their parking lot is another nightmare.   I won't try again. Read Less

Great service and excellent work by the women. The man who runs the place is a bit of a douche; called on a Saturday for an appointment, he said they don't take appointments. I showed up, and there were two groups who walked in after me saying they had appointments. WTF. Plus, I'm pretty sure those girls are illegals and certain they are in some sort of slavery.Read Less

I write this review with mixed feelings. On one hand they do an amazing job with manicures, pedicures, and gels. However, I find the staff to be incredibly rude. For example, even if you make an appointment they will take other people ahead of you. I arrived on a Sunday morning before the place even opened. I was the first inside. I wanted a gel and pedi. I wrongly assumed (I would be in and out.  to my dismay they took other people who arrived AFTER me first. I sat for over 45 min with my nails in foil. My first few times in I almost didn't return because they can be rude. But they do such an amazing job, the place is clean, bright and well ventilated, and you cannot beat the free massage, especially if you get Maria.
