I dropped in and asked for a manicure on a Friday after work and was told they were too busy. There were two people there. Also, I've been in nail salons that are busy and usually they just ask people to wait, but in this case it was obvious they weren't interested in my business. Lucy and Ale gave me the best pedicure I have had in a couple of years -- and I go to nail salons all over Westchester. Lucy took her time (no rushing whatsover!), did an impeccable job on my cuticles, callouses and shaping/cleaning/painting the nail. I was skeptical at first since it's a little tough to find (basement of an office building, under the Zumba sign) and seemed a little out of the way, but I am blown away and feel awesome post-pedicure.  I can't stress this enough. I will definitely be back. I haven't found a place this good since I moved from Yonkers (used to go to Perfect Nail in Woodlawn and they had the holy grail pedicure but customer service and wait times were a mess -- this place? My favorite nail salon Lucy& Ale are very sweet and pay attention to detail when you are getting a pedicure and manicure. I've been going to other nail salon's and they rush you so that they can take the next customer but at Lucy&Ale they take their time and make sure the work is perfect. Its best to make an appointment ahead of time because if you walk in they might make you wait since they have their regular customers who already have an appointment.
