I tried this place for the first time this past Saturday with an appointment made the day prior. They gave me a guy with glasses (didn't get his name). He did a nice ombré and I also requested painted designs with crystals in them. Took a while to figure out how to do what I wanted. In total, I was in the chair for two hours. The ombré was $45 (which included fixing 3 nails with tips) and the designs on 4 nails was an additional $15. He did a pretty nice job overall and was very gentle with all of the filing necessary. What I didn't understand is why directlyBehind him I can see nail tools wrapped up and sanitized in bags, but he pulled the cuticle cutter out of a draw to use on me that was clearly not sanitized.  The nail files were also not disposable as I am used to with other nail salons around here that I pay the same prices for. Don't understand how this place doesn't have more reviews...they deserve some recognition! Not your typical Long Island nail salon. The staff is really diligent and do a fine job. Prices are fair. What impressed me most about this spot was their wide array of prices for gel manicures: everything from below $20 (weekly polish) to $35 (SNS Powder...uh-mazing). Kevin is the greatest. I've been going to Kevin for the past few years and he has always given me the best customer service. He is thorough with manicures, pedicures, and massages. My body feels calm and relaxed after each time I go to Wendy's, no matter what is done. Kevin is a nice, sweet, and kind person and understands male needs when it comes to healthy feet and hands. The only reason they'd ever see me here is to get my nails done. Came in twice and preferred the services of April. Yesterday , I went in trying to get a pedi and a new set of SNS. The guy who did my pedi was horrible I thought about leaving the seat but I decided since I waited 20 mins I might as well get it done. Then , April had another customer who also got their lashes done instead of verbalizing that to me another tech came and said he'd get me started. The next thing I know he did the whole set without an update as to what the situation was. So I sat there got my service and respectfully left. I wouldn't recommend this spot. If I could give zero stars , I would.  Made me wait 45 minutes in a chair while taking other " regulars ". This is my second time here and it just gets worse.  Never again. Very clean, great staff. They have good hours, so it works for me .. I'll stop in after gym/work at 8pm and get a mani/pedí. However, yesterday I got a massage with " Andy" for the 1st time; and he was AMAZINGG. 5 stars to Andy and those hands! Love this place. Now I'm going back for massages too!! Read Less

Absolutely horrible. The entire staff and crew is completely different. All they do is rush you and talk about you. My pedicure was horrible. As he was massaging me (with rubber gloves on) he put my feet back into the tub filled with my skin from callus remover and lotion. As I got up I checked my toes and there was polish everywhere but my nails. Part of my actual nails wasn't even painted AND on top of it HE DID THE WRONG POLISH COLOR. I used to go to a different nail salon but came here because I was in a rush and nearby. Susan did an amazing job on my manicure and the prices were fair. I came back twice since then, for gel manicure and pedicure. I happened to get Susan again each time and again she was wonderful. I'm going to start booking regular appointments with her, because good service, hygienic practices, and fair prices are hard to come by. Read Less

I went to Wendys nails to get my eyebrows done and they were extremely rude as I walked in. When I was speaking to the women before she started to do my eyebrows the women doing the waxing brushed me off when I said "please just put the wax in allergic to all other products" she just yes'd me to death. Then put oil and something else on my face when I jumped to say "I told you I'm allergic" she just sent me to the bathroom. Then when I went to leave I was told it was 7 and they charged me 17 dollars. When they women say I was starting to get distracted every employee was around the register and myself I was extremely uncomfortable. I asked for a refund they gave me it a recite claiming that I received a refund but my account says I haven't. Then they were extremely rude when I did not tip. I'm sorry I didn't feel the need to tip after your service was awful, rude, uncomfortable and now I will have hives around my forehead. Read Less

If I could do 2 1/2 I would because when this place first started like a year ago there was great service and employees. But the past few times was utterly ridiculous. I went in for a full set and a pedicure on 10/25/15. I was not acknowledged when I came in. It was slightly busy so I waited for about 50 minutes. But then there were two walk-ins the got helped right way. This was always an issue for me with this place. The owner, Wendy her self did my "pedicure" did not even ask me if I wanted my nails cut she just did so and unevenly! She rushed so much so she can assist the other customers. And I see with all the other customers are being pampered, acknowledged and appreciated. My "pedicure" took 4 minutes. Four minutes! She didn't even buff or used a pumice one foot. So unprofessional!!!! This is extremely upsetting to me. Because I used to even refer people to come here. I guess I'm not worth their service or attention. And the worse part is they want to higher the price after you ask for one thing but they try to add stuff on! I honestly feel like walking out right now. I would but I have a flight tomorrow and this is the only place open on Sunday's this late. Seriously, the hours are the ONLY thing this place has going for them. NEVER coming back here again! I recommend Time Nail Spa a little further up Long Beach Rd, the service is 100x better and the environment is very laid back and the owner Vanessa makes her customers feel appreciated and comfortable. This place is decent. It's clean and bright.  Wendy did my pedicure and she's actually the owner too.  My problem was that she rushing the whole time.  You would jump up to answer the phone or go to the register and I would be sitting there with no one doing my feet.  Finally at the end with the lack of attention, she has the nerve to show up when it's tip time and ask that we tip all of the staff whether they deserved it or not.  Bad service and no tact. This nail salon is very unprofessional, tried to put something else on my nails other than what I asked for. Told me it was aycrilic when it wasn't , and wanted to bake my nails In uv light .?.
