I am OBSESSED and ADDICTED to this place!!! I got such a fun manicure by MOMO for my bachelorette party and the most elegant yet modern mani by MOMO for my wedding!! My nails have never been healthier. The gel is so strong and really allows your nails to grow underneath.  and lasts for at least 3 weeks! This is 100% my new spot! I'm new to Calgel nails and I assumed when you advertise it, it means you know how to apply it.  I came here the first time and left over the moon happy! It was exactly what I asked for and it lasted 4 weeks!!!  I started to become tired of it, but dang if not for the growth you would have thought I got it done today!  I had to go elsewhere the second time due to time and location.   The second place were so bad, it looked like pressed on nails...  I just returned yesterday to Oh My Nails and I'm in heaven again!  They took good care of me!  It was obvious my last work was badly done (by another nail place) but the person doing my nails remained professional and didn't comment.  Her comment comes out in her work, my beds were so smooth I now know that other place didn't know what they were doing!  Some say it's pricey...  it's 50 for a base color and this lasts for 4+weeks, you're dealing with pros...so looking like you've just walked out and gotten your nails done for 4 weeks straight is a bargain to 10-12dollars weekly after chipped nails.  They do appointments only and for a reason!  I did not feel rushed, I wished I remembered her name, but I think you're lucky with whoever you get.  I wasn't the girl who got her nails done regularly (once a year...), but Oh My Nails will be a regularly thing for me now on!UPDATE:  the person who did my nails her name is Lhamo Read Less

I came here while staying in Soho for the weekend and I really like this place. It's a small, close knit boutique that's almost easy to miss when looking for it. Ive been wanting to try this place for a while. I enjoyed myself. It was quiet and intimate. I didn't get the young lady's name who did my manicure however it was the young girl with a short hair cut. She was very neat and detailed. I have never had nails this bad before in my whole life and I've been getting my nails done since age 7. This place was just no where near an upscale salon. This place was terrible. I'm so disappointed as this place was recommended to me and they are just not ok.Nail processI went in to do gel extensions and I had never done just the gel extensions meaning no plastic tip involved. So I was excited and nervous. I wanted long coffin nails and I provided a picture and the women doing my nails said to me she can't make them as long as the picture but she can make them close to it. She said just a bit shorter then the picture. And I was ok with that so as she start the process (which is pretty darn long) she finishes forming the nails and they look terrible absolutely disgusting, looked like I was going to pay 20 dollars not 100. I just tried to be ok with it. But after she shaped them I lost it. Long story short she took them off and I left. Word of advice AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!! Over priced for their work because they are just terrible!Better salons out there people! Trust me for the same price you can get a way better job done. Try Bisou nails. Amazing! Hands down, the best manicure I have ever gotten, so beautiful. I walked in to make an appointment about two weeks in advance because I was going to be in a wedding, and I wanted to make sure that we would be able to do what I wanted. I had a few badly broken nails, and Momo said that they should probably grow out by the time my appointment came, but she would put down that I might need extensions.When I came in for my appointment, however, they said that there was no time for me to get extensions! I had broken a couple more nails, and the ones I was originally concerned about did not grow out much. I almost cried because I really needed to fix them by the next day for this wedding. Momo ended up switching to be my nail technician and the other girl there did the pedicure for the woman Momo was working on. I was able to get my extensions and nail design like I wanted.Now I know to book with Momo if I need extensions, and make sure to book accordingly. I got so many compliments on my nails, and I love them. Be warned, this place is not cheap. Extensions with a small glitter design and a regular pedicure ran me $146. But I probably won't go anywhere else for my manicures! Read Less

While I liked the service and the actual pedicure, there were a few things that made me want to rethink some things through.1) I went in for a regular pedicure.  For most salons, this includes the washing, maybe exfoliating, and lotion at the end.  Apparently, for THIS salon, this was a FULL pedicure which was $10 extra.  I asked for a pedicure thinking that it would just be the normal pedicure and when I received all the "extras" (i.e. washing, exfoliating, lotion, etc.), I thought that was normal.  It wasn't until I was paying and I saw the extra charge that I asked and she was like oh you got the full pedicure.  Nowhere on their website stated a full vs. regular pedicure.  And the most expensive pedicure was $60 on the website yet they charged me $70 for all the "extras".  But I was in a hurry so I didn't bother arguing with her. It just felt underhanded and sneaky.  I feel like I got ripped off.2) After I picked the design, I can usually choose exactly which shade of whatever color I want in case there was a certain shade I would prefer.  This salon didn't ask me at all - they just saw the design and noted that it was gray, white and yellow and proceeded.  I assumed this was because they didnt have many shade selections so it was fine.  HOWEVER, as she proceeded to do my nails and because of the angle, I couldn't really see exactly how it was turning out.  And NOT ONCE did she ask me if things were okay, if I liked how it was looking, etc.  It wasn't until the lady next to me (we shared a relatively small couch) moved and I could place my bag beside me that I saw how my nails were turning out and I was a little shocked to see the yellow that I had wanted (the picture showed a more pastel color) turned out to be this orange yellow color.  But at that point, with the UV lights already going on and she was already moving to adding glitter lines, I couldn't exactly tell her to redo that part.  So I basically left the salon only half liking my VERY expensive pedicure.  It was a little disappointing to be honest because I had hoped for so much more. I made an appointment and during the 3rd time she called to confirm ( was unable to answer due to work) she was rude saying it wasnt some lil reg shop and hung up on me after I asked to reschedule because of work...
