I absolutely love this salon! This is my go to place for a mani-pedi. Once you walk in, you'll set this as your gold standard for nail salons.The staff is always welcoming, the place is super clean be sanitary. They have a wide range of nail polish colors from my fav brands (Essie, Zoya, OPI etc). It's so calming and relaxing in there, unless I have something really important to do, I relax and enjoy my mani-pedi. I am firm believer in you get what you pay for. This place doesn't disappoint. Love this salon! Checked it out for the first time a few weeks ago and was impressed immediately with how clean and comfortable it is. I got a mani-pedi from Coco and I could not be happier with her work. She shaped and painted perfectly - and I am very, very picky about those things. Somehow my manicure even lasted 12 days, which is unheard of for me. I will definitely be back.Notes: if you pay cash, you get a quick dry topcoat; they do a little shoulder massage while you are at the drying station; and if you go M-Th (I think it's Th) you get 10% off a mani-pedi. They also have a membership card that you can earn free services with, but since I don't go all that often and they wanted to charge $5 for the card (kind of lame), I turned it down. Read Less

For a salon with such 4.5 stars I walked in with high expectations. Honestly it isn't worth the hype, for $45 ($5 was for the Zoya nail polish), I expected so much more. The mani and pedi was cute, polish application was average, they used the green tea jelly which was relaxing and the massage was nice, my biggest problem was my nail tech barely scrubbed my feet. I'm a stickler for hygiene, and this place definitely meets the mark. They line their pedicure tubs with a fresh plastic wrap every time, and use sterilized metal tools and new everything else. Definitely going to be my regular spot. Read Less

After visiting my old workplace and catching up with my friend. I stopped by for a gel manicure and standard pedicure. My nail tech was May and she did a wonderful job with the pedicure and my gel manicure. I would definitely come back. Reasonably priced, and most of all very clean and sterile which is what I like when it comes to getting nails done. They go above and beyond and definitely the best gel manicure in a long time. Every time I get my nails done it's a great experience, clean and friendly. They are honest if there is a wait time. I usually get gel polish because I use my hands a lot, and it lasts for 3 solid weeks without peeling.  I can't emphasize enough how great the service is. Read Less

Place is clean, the employees are very pleasant and sweet. I came to remove my acrylic nails and they took their time removing it ( instead of yanking it off as another salon tried). Price was $10 for at least 30 min of work. Loved the salon and would definitely come back. Read Less

Had a gel manicure here this morning.. although the prices are a little higher than the surrounding salons, IT WAS WORTH IT. Not only did Jessica do a terrific job, but there was around 30 steps to the manicure including a nice back massage! Will definitely become a regular here :) very clean as well! Read Less

This is the best nail salon I have been to in NYC. I have been too a lot of them in my 8 years here. This salon is very clean. It maintains the standards that held for the health department. I know this because my mom owned a nail salon for 30 years. I used to help out so I know the rules for California salons. This place is on the more expensive side. But after comparing to several others in the area, I decided it was worth it. The detail to coverage of color on your entire nail bed is perfect. My hands always look beautiful when they are done. I have pretty rough hands and a lot of cuticle. I am impressed with their service. They also have a good touch for massage. Not to painful but enough to make the scalp tingle. They never chip. I get shellac done so do know about regular nail polish. I highly recommend them, especially if you can get services done while your kid is napping in a stroller. Read Less

I never write bad reviews on Yelp, but an infected cuticle resulting from dirty instruments I think warrants warning people about this place.  After a trip to Urgent Care, and them draining pus from my thumb, and about a $70.00 copay later, I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away.Such a disappointment!!!!! The only downside of this salon is that you'll never want to go anywhere else again. No, seriously, it's a problem. If you come in for a quick manicure at another place, you will be underwhelmed and disappointed. I love everything about this place and have been a customer for almost two years. A friend recommended this place! I came in on a Saturday afternoon. They were already busy, and I was greeted with smiles. Thankfully, I was seen right away- plenty of staff. Lots of color choices! I chose the very relaxing Milk and Honey pedicure, where you receive a leg and foot massage plus heated lotion for a luxurious experience. I loved the jelly footbath as well; I have never experienced it before. Amazing! My technician Coco was very patient with my running-damaged toesies, making sure that my calluses were gently smoothed and my nails were neatly trimmed and filed. Importantly, all tools were from individual sterilized packages, and the pumice was one-use only. As a healthcare professional, I was impressed. Sterilization is of utmost importance. Color application was precise, and dried very quickly. I even received a shoulder massage while my fingers and toes were drying. I also observed other customers treated well with smiles and positive attitudes- even with a wait, most customers chose to put their names on a list to return later. Before this salon open, I was like "another nail salon?" I thought a nail salon is the last thing we need in this neighborhood (come on! there are another 3 salons in just 2 blocks.) But since Latous is right on the corner of my place, so I still gave them a shot couple month ago, and I just had my nail done here again, and this is the fourth time. I really love this place! I always got gel manicure/ pedicure because I have to do house work almost everyday, such as cooking and dishes washing..etc, so the most important thing for me is my manicure needs to stay in shape long enough (2-3weeks) and Latous always meets my expectation! This place smells good, it's bright and clean. I never felt that they try to rush me out for another customer ( I always go there during weekdays tho), they have good among of the selections in gel colors compare with other nail salons I had been before. I wanted to try this place because it's just around the corner. I went in when they were having their $10 off special. Got a gel mani/pedi. Long story short: sanded my nails down so much there were soft spots to the flesh underneath; didn't paint to the edge so there was a substantial gap between the cuticle and polish and finally, I got slammed with a $90 bill!  I noticed as I walked out that there were no prices listed anywhere.
