Went to get an ANC manicure. Upon walking in I was not greeted. In the middle of my manicure I was told it was $4 extra for me because my nails were long! What BS! They were very rude. After having a less than quality "anc" manicure done in Kingston (), I went into Polished wanting the "anc" removed. I went in around 6pm on a Tuesday and was seen immediately. The tech removed the heavy "anc" and then proceeded with a basic manicure. She was thorough and gentle making it a pleasant experience. I am not sure what it is. Maybe it's because we're college kids, but when my best friend and I come here (it's the 5th time now) we feel so disrespected and discriminated against. They're so rude to us, and literally rough handle us by grabbing our arms and hands like we're made of plastic. I am not making the 25 minute walk here ever again because of the experience I just had. The nail lady rushed through my acrylic nails, made them too thick, more than one finger is not even AND painted so badly even though I had my nails drying in the cooling place I have bumps on multiple nails. I made an appointment for us but my friend had to wait a whole hour until she was helped. I did not see this happen to anyone else and was furious. She did not offer me a massage but offered my friend, and gave none of us the massage that comes after getting lotion on our hands. If you expect a good tip, don't rush my manicure, act rudely and have my nails look bad. I am saddened that I have had more than one awful experience here and we will not be returning. Read Less

If I could give less than one star, I would. WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. I got to the salon around 4 pm and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. After around 24 minutes they began the process of taking the existing ANC powder off my nails. This process, which usually takes about 15 minutes took this salon OVER AN HOUR and chipped two of my nails in the process, forcing me to cut them down. After the polish was finally on my nail I noticed a distinctive mark in... the polish on one nail that I wanted fixed. I was then told that I’m complaining about everything by an employee who had just entered the establishment moments earlier. Excuse me? I’m complaining because I want my $38 to go towards good manicure? Did you know that they charge $5 extra dollars for a coffin shaped filing EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE GOING TO FILE YOUR NAILS REGARDLESS. After 2 1/2 hours of being in this salon I was fed up. Not only did I spend 2 1/2 hours and $38 dollars for something that is usually only 1 hour and $30, but I was verbally harassed by an employee as well. Do not go to this salon. From someone who gets their nails done every two weeks, this place is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. And to the employee I believe is Faye— educate yourself on customer service. I went here to have a simple fill done on my fingernails. I ended up being there for TWO HOURS. Instead of using a dremel like most other places they had me stick my fingers in hot acetone for over an hour. It got too hot and was burning my fingers and I got a headache from the smell of the toxic chemical. They eventually did my nails and put them under a cold fan. No ultra violet light like MOST other places so the polish immediately hardens but my polish was still soft and two nails got ruined. I’ll NEVER go back there AGAIN. Read Less

One of the worst nail solons I've been to. The person (did not know name because she didn't speak a lick of English) that did my nails did such a horrible job. She did not cut my cuticles or clean under my nails. All she did was file my nails down. When I asked her to clean under my nails and cut my cuticle she just smiled. I asked if someone there spoke English and would translate for me but all the employees just sat there and stared. Additionally the extra charge to do a 10 minute message was also horrible as it felt like she was just moving her hands up and down my legs. I went in to get a fill which Cost $18 I have different shaped nails from a different salon they wanted to charge me 23 dollars an extra 5 dollars to file the shaped nail, which is crazy. I will definitely not be going there ever again!! Read Less

Great spot for a mani-pedi in the Ulster county area. Most nail salons are poorly reviewed and I have had poor experience in upstate NY. This is a great find for me! Great location. Nail technicians are friendly and as they were closing and cleaning out, they even took in last minute a lady who just wanted her polish taken off.I am very satisfied with my pedicure (I chose the hot stone pedicure) and manicure, kept it basic, polish on looks clean and well polished! It was also relaxing in the salon! I love the all white interior! Very modern and clean!I will surely come back for a regular appointment! Read Less

My wife always went to this place to get her nails done. She tipped well -- I know because I pay the credit card bills. The last time she went there, one of her nails fell off within 24 hours, which had never happened before. She returned and asked if they could fix it. They told her the broken nail had nothing to do with their workmanship. They were rude about it. Not a good way to do business with a repeat customer, or what was a repeat customer anyway.
