This is literally the worst experience I have ever had. If I could give a rating lower than one star, I would gladly. They were so incredibly rude, they did not help with an ingrown nail and hardly touched any of my cuticles, I needed another layer of gel because I can still see my under nail, she would yank my hand towards her and would basically turn my fingers a full 180 for what I felt was for amusement. Full disclosure, I had never been here before tonight. I work full time and have two kids under 2.5 so I thought this would be a great place if it's open a little later than your regular nail salon. Well...If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This place is supposed to be open until 9pm. I walk in at 8:20 and ask to soak off my color gel and get a new color gel mani. There are two nail techs and one customer currently being serviced. She turns me away because she says she has one more coming. I said, "There's two of you." She says, "Yeah, but she's not done yet," motioning to the other tech. Sooo I guess my nails can't soak while I'm waiting for one of the two of you to feel like doing my nails? The lady who works the front desk is destroying this business. She thinks she know what she's doing but she is pushing loyal customers away. I've been coming here weekly for 2 years and referring so many friends and family but due to my experience lately I won't be back until things change. Also, I tip generously each time (20-25%). Lately, if I give them $50 for a $35 service, the workers TIP THEMSELVES from MY CHANGE! That's absurd! So then I started to use my credit card. Yesterday is when I decided I am done. I usually see 3 specialists who are all great (Eunice, Gabby, Sonia). I told them I'd wait for whoever finishes first. Eunice finished first, but when she heard I'm only doing a manicure, she went to service the woman getting a mani/pedi. They told me to wait for Gabby to come back from lunch. Despicable people! Never seen such a nasty salon. I came in here with 4 friends and asked for Mani's. They said it'll be a 30min wait. We were waiting and asked to use the restroom. I've been to this salon several times because the location is good, right in the shops at Nanuet.  The place is clean and decorated nice.  That's where the positives end.  There are always a TON of empty chairs and when you come in for a walk in they never have somebody to take you!  When I am physically there I watch them turn away 5-6 people in the hour that I am there.  This is a prime location, how can you not have enough workers to accept walk ins when you're located in a mall?  I've watched the employees make faces at clients after they finished and were clearly talking negatively about them.  One of the ladies was rude to me after she dropped Aloe Vera into my eye while doing an eyebrow wax which stung horribly.  I just hate his place, and the only reason I had ever continued to go is because of the location, but I don't think I'll ever step foot in again. Someone gave me a gift certificate from Tutti Nails. I absolutely loved the experience and my gel manicure lasted almost a month. The staff is very friendly and they are gentle with your nails. They offered me coffee,  tea, and water.  I had a ginger tea and it was very good.   I would definitely go back, although I'm not sure if I can always afford them, but if you're looking for a great mani pedi spa like experience with great customer service Tutti Nails in Nanuet is the right place for you!! The positives about this nail salon...it's very, very clean, they stay open until 9:30 on weeknights, good selection of colors and for the most part (depending on the nail person) they do a nice pedicure and manicure.The negatives on pedicures:  they are rough on your legs and feet - which is not very relaxing;  they give a 1 minute massage on each foot; they ask you if you want a 10 minute massage which is $15 extra;  pedicures are $25 which is about $5 more than other salons in the area and those salons dedicate a 5 minute massage on each leg;  Your pedicure is finished in 20 minutes;The negatives on manicures:  rough on your hands as they try to rush you out so they can take the next person. Went to Tutti nails at 4:45 with my daughter and wife in Nanuet we walked in and all employers just looked at us. Not one person said can I help you. I want to treat my wife and daughter to a mani pedi they never came over they just said "We have a wait" my wife asked how long they never answered her. No answer just went back to doing nails. My wife waited 5 more minutes. A white lady came in and they got up asked her how can we help you. I was there once b4 and spent $150 bucks so I thought I go back. I normally go to Very Nails in Mahwah, but decided last minute to go somewhere new. When I was getting my pedicure I was so uncomfortable, it hurt so bad because the guy doing my pedicure was stabbing my cuticles and when he was cutting the corners of my big toe he lift the nail without clipping it off. He barely soaked my feet and very little massage. Once my pedicure was finished, i needed my gel filled. No one helped me off the chair or brought my bag over. I sat down and Sophie was very cold towards me. Not welcoming and nice at all. She was very rough with my nails and cuticles because they are still throbbing. While she is starting to do my nails she says I need a new set which I did not they just wanted to charge me more as if a $60 fill was not enough. To top it off before I am even half way done with the fill the manager comes over and asks me to pay/tip before they are even done. I was in shock....All in all awful. If you are going to pay that amount then you should be given the best service and even just a welcoming smile. Mark my words I will NEVER go back. I wish I could give this place a negative 5 stars. The two stars are mostly for the ambiance and color selection. The Tutti salon in Nanuet looks very sleek, modern and clean. Tutti is a chain all over this area, the Nanuet location is very close to my job so sometimes I'll come by after work. I've had a regular manicure, eyebrow tint and eyebrow wax here--all on separate visits. While overall I like most Tutti salons, this one is my least favorite. The prices at the different locations vary by a few dollars. They also have a loyalty program, but each location has their own card.  Pricing wise, the Nanuet location is mid-range. Tutti Nail Salons:They all have a pretty descent selection of gel colors and a very good selection of regular polish colors--including Essie and all the latest OPI. I love that they carry new OPI colors, but wish they would invest in the new gel colors as well. They also have a lot of interesting colors by Zoya. Most of the time the person doing your manicure will give you a massage at the end! Nice! But I've noticed that this does not happen consistently and I have NEVER seen it done at the Nanuet location. Ok, here are my experiences with each individual service at the Nanuet location:Front Desk:Sometimes someone is there and that person is helpful and nice, but usually no one is there. One time it was a guy who shouted across the whole salon to get the attention of one of the employees when I arrived for my appointment. Also, the Nanuet salon displays these "tip cards." Someone either hands one to you or they are lying around for you to look over--it's a table with what 10% 15% 20% etc. would be at various price points. Pretty tacky.Eyebrow Tint:I have super blonde eyebrows and wanted to try out their tinting service. The room where the woman did my eyebrows looked beautiful, but the lighting was a little dim. When she finished I took a look at the color in the mirror and it looked good while I was in the room. However, when I got home to take off my make up in normal lighting I noticed it looked MUCH lighter than I like it to be and so I went back and had her darken it. The color didn't last as long as it did from other places I've been. I wouldn't return for this service.Manicure:A co-worker and I came here together for some after work mani-a-mani time. I usually get gel manicures but at the time did not have gel polish on my nails and wanted to try one of the new OPI colors (not available in gel at this salon) so I went with the regular manicure. My friend also did the regular manicure with an Essie polish.Although we both had our nails done at the same time, my manicure lasted several days longer than hers. Is it the polish brand or the technician? Not sure. The technicians were both pretty rough on our hands, especially when pushing back the cuticles--ouch! I think my friend had it worse. I have not returned here for another manicure, but my friend has been back several times and said there is huge variation between the nail techs. I might come back and try a gel manicure out of convenience.Eyebrow Wax:She did a fine job but was EATING something the whole time! Every time she came over to apply the wax I could hear her chewing and crunching on something and she smelled strongly of garlic. I've gone here a few times and never again! Like another reviewer said, for whatever reason they don't seem to take walk ins (or so I thought) so I made an appointment and called to say there was no parking (place is in a mall) and I'd be a few minutes late. Long story short, they gave my appointment away to a walk in client and told me to come back an hour and a half later. I said I'd go somewhere else. Staff is rude, services are overpriced for what it is. If you're from Rockland go to nailholic in Nyack it's worth the trip; tutti is not worth it!!! Read Less

What a beautiful place! The work is high quality and you feel like you're in a fancy spa rather than just your average nail place.  They serve freshly made tea with real ginger and honey, there are many TVs to watch, and it's super quiet and relaxing. As you can tell from the reviews, this place is hit or miss and it all depends on who you get as your nail tech! I have been coming here for awhile (4-5 months) solely for one person: Lynn. If I cannot get her, I don't come. Now, however, she has left the salon and I have since tried coming here twice since it's a convenient location for me on my way home from work. Unfortunately, I was disappointed both times. The woman at the front desk and a lot of the staff is, in fact, quite rude. If you are super sweet, don't comment or correct anything during your service, and tip amply, they are fine. Otherwise, they are rude. The second time I had ever come here I debated not coming back at all. My mother was here from overseas and I wanted to treat her. While getting her nails done she was asked to pay prior to putting polish on. A lot of places do this so it was fine. I paid for her and then next thing we know the front desk woman came over and is giving her a very LOUD talk about how in America it is customary to tip 20% because my mother hadn't tipped. I asked what was going on and my mom was looking at me, mortified. She just kept saying "ok, ok" while getting a lecture and being completely embarrassed. I don't have a clue why any of that happened as my mother hadn't even had her nails painted yet. I've been doing my nails for years and have always paid, finished the service, and tipped on the way out the door. In any event, that put us all off but I continued to come back because the girl I had that day, Lynn, was amazing. Now that Lynn is gone, I have tried coming again but this is just not the place for me. I had Janet for a pedicure and left with dry feet and a sub-par coat of polish. The place has a very uncomfortable vibe and I won't be coming again. For those people who have left positive reviews, power to you for finding one of the few good techs here. Do not spend your hard-earned money here! The staff and the manager are rude. The pedicures are very superficial. They do not soak your nails and they put your feet in the foot bath for about 20 seconds. They  rush you through the mani pedi process. And the worst--the foot bath looked dirty. Two stars are for the decor.  Very clean as many of the other posters have said. What is very frustrating is that they seem to be very short staffed.  The last two times I have been there, they said they were "too busy". First time this happened it was during the week, in the evening.  It was 2 hours before closing time and I went in with my daughter for just 2 straight manicures, no gel, tips etc.   There were two people having pedi's done and one person having nails done. Looked like there was one worker in the back just sitting at a station.  As soon as we walked in, they said "we're closed".  I said, I thought you were open until 9.  She said, "yes but we're all booked".  (?)    Normally I wouldn't have thought anything but they were completely empty! Ok.... Fast forward a couple of weeks. Figured I would try it again.  Saturday morning... About 9am.  Not very busy inside.  No one in the waiting area, great, right? Well a guy asks what we want, I tell him mani/pedi for me and mani for my daughter he says, "ok, pick polish".   We are there long enough to pick out polish and I'm switching into my flip flops when front desk lady comes over and says, "2 manicures and 1 pedi....1 hour wait."  Again, I'm completely perplexed because they don't seem busy and not one soul is waiting in the seating area.  I tell her about what happened last time.  She offers no apology... In fact, defends what happened. Anyway, we end up leaving because let's face it...They may have nice decor but nail places are a dime a dozen.  Word to the wise....can't seem to just walk-in here. Don't do like I did and drive 20 min to get there and not get in.   Better still.. Find a nice clean salon, with nice decor, and a welcoming staff somewhere else.  That's what I intend to do. I regularly come here to get my eyebrows waxed. The staff here is very attentive and quick. I am a little particular about my eyebrows not being thin and they do an excellent job. A co worker of mine gave me a gift certificate during the holidays and today I finally used it, for a gel manicure.  I worked with a young lady named Amy. She did a great job!!
