Went to this place for my first time last night. Last minute decided on a mani/pedi and facial wax. When I arrived, they did my eyebrow/lip/chin wax first. It was fine, once finished, the wax lady called in the lady who would do my nails next. They mocked my eyebrows right in front of me, laughed at me, an then scolded me for their shape (I don't even touch them, mind you). It made me feel very awkward and embarrassed.Next, I got my pedicure. I picked two colors (sea foam green and gold) and had a simple request - I want green on all toes except the toe after my big toe on each foot. On that one, I wanted gold. She went on to give me an okay pedicure before painting my toes all green. I stopped her and reminded her of what I wanted before the second foot. She apologized and quickly fixed it. She took me over her desk for my manicure next. I told her I wanted the same colors, except on my hands, I wanted green on all fingers except my ring finger. On that one, I wanted gold. She began my manicure and, in what I thought was the middle of the mani, stopped, wrote put my receipt, and asked me to pay. She then announced she was finished, yet she hadn't painted my nails or even coated them with anything. I was confused. I explained again to her that I wanted my nails painted, too, and she acted as if I had never said this and got visibly irritated with me. She called over the lady who did my waxing and ask her to correct my check. So she did and returned it to me and asked me to pay and tip before my services had even finished being rendered. I was annoyed with this but honestly just wanted to hurry up, so agreed. I saw there was a space to tip on my receipt that I signed for paying with my debit card. So I tipped $10 and asked for them to split it. Then the lady doing my nails began to paint them. She finished and sat me down under the dryer. I sat there for about 5 minutes before realizing nothing was happening (the machine was off). This was about 20 minutes before they closed, so she was up cleaning and preparing to close. It took me another 5 minutes to hunt her down and ask her to turn on my dryer. When I sat back down, in the few English words she could speak, she griped at me for not realizing the dryer is weight sensitive and starts when it feels the weight of your hands under it. I had to actually slightly press down in order to start it and keep it going, which wasn't very relaxing. In the middle of my nails finally drying, the lady who waxed me approached me, and loud enough for the remaining customers in there to hear, says, "What? You don't have cash to tip?". I'm extremely confused, embarrassed, angry, offended, and shocked at this point by everything that had happened so far. I told her I had cash but had seen the space to tip on my receipt from my card, and the lady doing my nails confirmed that was fine, so it made sense. She, more or less, demanded I take the debit card receipt off and give her cash for the tip. I wanted her out of my hair, so I told her side and to cancel the tip from my debit card and that I would give her the cash tip once my nails were dry. She told me no and that she needed it then. I carefully (trying not to screw up my slightly wet nails) got out my wallet and pulled out a $20 (all I had). I told her to give herself and my nail lady each a $5 tip and to give me the $10 change. She said she didn't have change and asked to keep the whole thing. I don't know why, but I said yes, and to split it. As I mentioned, I think I just wanted to get out of there. But, just as I feared, I messed up one of my nails grabbing that cash. I had to, once again, hunt down the lady doing my nails to have her fix it. She acted annoyed with me again so I told her what had happened. She fixes it and I sit back down to let them dry. She walks away and completely forgets about me the rest of my time there, so I made my own determination of when my nails were dry and left. The wax job was near perfect, other than the wax artist bring extremely rude and condescending the entire time. I think she may be an owner or manager, as well. My pedicure felt and looks pretty good, but my feet weren't left soft and smooth like most pedicures. I could have probably done just as good, if not better, of a job on my manicure. She asked if I wanted my nails rounded or squared. I normally get them rounded, but wanted to try something a little different, so I got them squared. Each nail is shaped completely different, and a few were even left jagged and unsmooth, so I've been slowly shaping and smoothing out the edges of my nails. The paint job is honestly ok. I'm extremely disappointed. I leave for vacation Friday and this was the latest I could wait to get my nails done, as I am busy until I leave.I will not be returning.
