Overall had a great experience with Mani and pedi. The space is extremely clean and looked that all of the tools were disposable and came out of sealed bags. It did feel a bit rushed but they were super busy. The tech made sure to grab my shoes and phone for me, and even ran over to take the tissue from between my toes when I was putting my shoes back on. I've been here 3 times and they have all been bad experiences. This 3rd and last time a guy nail tech gave me a rushed manicure. The manicure was done in about 5 minutes. I live 40 minutes from this location and have been coming here religiously since the facility opened. In addition to the great customer service, inlove the rewards program, but I hate when I forget cash to get double points. Anyway, I initially was intrigued by the powder gel. It has been a great discovery.Sometimes I can be a little rough with nails and this causes them to chip but anytime I stop in for a broken or chipped nail and it's fixed without an issue. If your thinking about going here, DONT! Horrible service and work done. I got my nails done (acrylic with gel polish) and the day after a my nail broke. Two days later, another nail gone. I’ve been patronizing this nail salon since they opened and I must say the last few appointments have been very disappointing. Today’s visit left me with a very bad taste and I’m not sure that I will be returning. Kevin is extremely rude. He began doing a gel fill and I noticed there was quite a bit of space between the cuticle and the gel that he had placed. I said there was way too much room and it still looked like I needed a fill. He argued with me and then Chris told him... to just do what I wanted, but not before he threw a hissy fit. Slamming his tools etc... I nearly thought he was going to lay down have a tantrum like my 4 year old. My nails suck. Some are thick and some are thin. Worst experience thus far. Never mind the pedicure. My heels are still rough and the guy chopped the entire corner of my left big toenail off. Absolutely love it here! The staff is friendly and my nails always come out beautifully and they always have the best shows/movies on tv. I've had a regular manicure, powered gel and gel polish. I normally stay away from gel polish because it doesn't stay on my nails very long (2-5 days tops) but figured I would give it a try again and I'm so happy I did! It's been over a week and half and they still look perfect. The prices are so reasonable especially if you sign up for a free membership. I've seen a few people compare them to YH Nail but this place is far better. Last time I went to YH Nail my nails were unevenly cut, my friends powered gel was bumpy and didn't cover her whole nail and they wouldn't fix it. By far the best nail place in the area! Read Less

My first visit was good, The guy who did my pedicure did a nice job. I went today and it was horrible, I had a young man who could have cared less about his job. The staff is so nice and accommodating. I called to tell them one of my powder gels popped off, they kindly asked when I could come in so they could fix I.T. Absolutely LOVE this place. So clean, so polite, extremely organized.  Chris does my nails and hes the bomb.com. I always leave with a smile. My nails can last a month without a filling. Toes- well I'm not 100% happy with their pedicures, it's no the worse. They need to learn how to take out the ingrown nails a lot better than they do. Besides that, this place is worth every penny. The salon was lovely. I had made an appointment & was taken immediately. Everything about this place was positive except the technician. The woman did a terrible job on my nails & usually I am not picky. I think she might have been training because she was shaking as she cut my cuticles. She nearly cut me twice. My cuticles were sore after that. I had a gel manicure, which she had to redo to fix them because they looked lumpy. Like when you polish over a coat that wasn't quite dry yet. She fixed them as best she knew how, but she didn't redo them completely. I had the misfortune of having her do my pedicure as well. It looked like I had just polished my own nails, except that she didn't polish the toe nails from edge to edge. She left the ends unpolished. Rookie mistake. I was aggravated at this point, so I just let it be. The business surely looked busy, but I don't think it is wise to let a trainee do a new customer's nails. Their prices are about $20 over what I'd normally pay on Harriman heights road & 17m & not as good. The only positive about the technician was that I liked the way she filed my nails. It's unfortunate because this salon is closer to my home but I wouldn't use them again. I was thinking of having eye lash extensions that were on their brochure, but after dealing with her shaking hands I decided I'd keep my $100. & go elsewhere for that. This was at the beginning of a week, by the end of the week I had to get them redone because it was pealing off. It usually lasts close to two weeks with the gel. Tried Chocolate Spa today for first time. The worst mani and pedi I ever had. The woman that did my nails seemed like she wanted to get done as soon as possible. 1 star for price and cleanliness-important! The plastic disposable liner for the ped bowl is great-would like to see that everywhere, but that's where the good stops. The tech insisted on working on my feet BEFORE permitting me to soak them/wash them- gross if your feet have been sweating in shoes all day! Pedicure was the fastest and  least complete I have ever experienced- 20 minutes, file toenails,QUICK massage,  apply polish and that's it!-No cuticle work, no sloughing/sanding or smoothing, and no English. Normally, I don't care for chit chat anyway, but nor do I care to be gossiped or chuckled about in a language I don't understand. First time there ; exceptionally clean and visually appealing however-- Went for standard gel manicure asking them to pls match my existing color. Instead of helping me he merely pointed me to three color wheels and told me to pick a color. This is the only place I've ever been to (in 15 yrs of going places) that did not give me a gentle neck massage also. After I paid I had to ask for the card to be marked for frequent visitors despite that I told him twice that I had never been there before. When I got home I noticed the corners and edges of 4 nails that had no polish on them. I may give them 1 more try in future. There are many other places in town with better service but not as clean. Visited the salon today for the first time.  My sister lives in the area and was excited about trying the new salon.  I went in for a gel manicure and a pedicure.  Upon arrival, I was told nails first and was directed to the table.  My right hand was soaked, nails cuts (rounded) and filed. Just then a black van pulled up and people spilled out of van and into the spa. They bring the workers in from Queens.  When the workers arrived I was then told to move to the pedicure chair with a new technician (Loki) and my mani would be completed later. Pedi was very good!  When it was completed I was moved back to the table for my mani. When Loki sat down, he picked up my right hand so I told him that hand is done, the other guy did it. Loki ignored me and began clipping and filing my right hand. He then moved to my left hand.  I told him I wanted them rounded, I didn't want these edges. He began speaking in Korean and filing my nails down.  I finally said, "I'll just do it" and picked up the file and began rounding my nails.  He took the file back and scolded me saying next time I should tell earlier that I wanted them rounded!  So, we got through the manicure, he gave me the bill.  I gave him my credit card and handed him a 20% tip in cash. This salon opened up recently and I thought I'd give it a try. The first time I went there it was excellent, they were really nice and accommodating so I decided to go back a second time. This time was completely different. I'd give them a negative 3-star rating if I could. During grand opening they did a good job in the main/pedi, but they overcharged me an extra $5 without my permission. My second visit, they rushed and even left some unpainted spots on my mani/pedi--- Three coats without even letting the first coats dry. Now I'm left with horrible gashes on my nails which I spent $30 on. I would have to say Walmart does a much better job than this place and even charges a lot less for great service. Caveat emptor. Horrible experience. Called and told to come in at 7. They will fit us in. We came in for three pedicures, a manicure, and a polish change. 730 they closed but told us not to worry they will make it work before we even came in. They rushed through our pedicures that our heels didn't even look touched. Throughout getting our nails done they were arguing about us being there because other workers were leaving. Once we asked why they were talking about us, one of the workers then begging to argue about us being there late and continue to argue about us to other employees. My manicure was not considered a manicured. It was rushed and only nails cut and filed and polished. I had a really good manicure here. The technician took his time and made sure to ask my preferred nail length and shape. The salon offers free water bottle and coffee. Also, I loved the massage while I was drying my nails. The massage therapist spent ten minutes on my FREE massage. The ambiance is peaceful. Brand new beautiful space with the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene. Finally found a place that uses disposable plastic covers for the soaking spa when doing a pedicure!! Got a gel manicure and was in awe of the amount of colors they had for both regular polishes and gel polishes! Two of my friends got pedicures and said they were amazing. My mom and I went to Chocolate Spa & Nails today on April 6th after their opening on April 2nd. We couldn't wait to try it out after seeing the coming soon sign out front for months. We are both SO happy with our services. My mom got a gel fill with the owner Andy and I got a new full set of acrylics with Chris. They were so kind to us, even the other ladies were all smiles. They offer water and coffee which I thought was a great touch. With any gel manicure you get your hands dipped in a paraffin wax which feels so amazing (which I've never done before and don't think any salons in the area do that) and then a nice hand massage followed by a small upper back massage. They really pay attention to detail and both men spoke great English so they could understand what we wanted and had fun conversation. Andy mentioned he has another location, so I knew he must be doing great to open another location. After going to every single nail spa you could name in the area this is by far the best!
