I am just appalled. I paid 25$ for this. Horrendously sloppy. They didn't even cut my cuticles, push my nail bed back or do any of that maintenance. When she used the electric sander, which I hate, she sanded off a chunk of my nail so I had to cut them all so they would be even. Two employees in the back were horsing around and there seemed to be no management in sight to address the terrible job done on my nails (besides the girl who did them who let me leave with them like this thinking it was a job well done) so I just let it go and it's a lesson learned. I would rate this salon 3.5 stars. Come if you're in dire need of a mani/pedi.Came here during my lunch break because I needed an emergency pedicure.Regular pedicure is $20 (standard). The girl that took care of me was very kind and thorough. She did not try to make unnecessary small talk which resulted in a very relaxing experience. It was pleasantly quiet in there with soft background music. This may partially be due to the fact that I came midday Wednesday and as expected it wasn't very busy. I did call ahead to make sure they could take me right away.This comment might be trivial but I noticed that they put some kind of lining in the pedicure tub thing. At first it seems like they're trying to be more sanitary BUT I found it to be wasteful and unnecessary considering it did not actually contain all the water.I don't like to stray far from my usual nail salon in Hewlett but would come back here if necessary. Also, there is a lot more parking than expected, especially for a small business on Route 110.**Update** came again for a regular manicure ($8) and it was not the best I've ever had. Decided to go in with my sister today to get a gel manicure while my sister got a gel French manicure of her hands and feet. We didn't have an appointment and this was our first time so we expected a long wait and were fine with that. When we walked in one customer was walking out and there wasn't anyone waiting. Our lucky day? Not so much. After we sat down, it was one person after another that was walking in without an appointment and there were 3 employees trying to handle about 8 people at one point. They got everyone started and then rotated with each of the customers. It was beyond odd. The lady who worked on my nails most often (during the rotating thing) might have been the owner because she greeted everyone and seemed to be in charge of the coordination. She rushed through my manicure and it shows! My nails which didn't seem that bad when I was there is quite noticeably horrible when I saw them in bright light. I don't even live nearby to go back! My sister was also not pleased with her gel manicure but she had an event to get ready for so she was not going to wait around for a redo. Would not recommend. Read Less

This really is a "family nail spa" for me! I have been coming here for years and now my mom, dad, and sister come here. I was visiting area and needed a gel fill   The girl was very good with listening to what I wanted done  not 100% liking shape of nails   But the back massage was very nice   I'm not used to paying 50.00 for a fill  thought a bit pricey   But if you need a decent nail job, this place is recommended Read Less

I found this nail salon by accident and I'm so glad I did. It's clean, family owned and operated and the staff is terrific. Amy is a nail technician wizard -- incredible/fast. Scott gives great massages and pedicures. It's a little expensive but perhaps not for Long Island. Great salon. I will be back every time I visit Long Island. Read Less

This place is now called Family Nail Spa. My girlfriend has had a gel manicure done here several times. Last time they chipped four times in eight days.
