Called for a last minute Bikini wax and was happy to hear they had availability. Very pleasant ladies greeted me and introduced me to the waxing technician Miranda who was fabulous. Quick and painless, kind and clearly passionate about her job, I felt at ease and was completely satisfied with my service. This is my new spot for nails and waxing! Thank you!

The ONLY reasons I go here are because: 1. I'm pregnant and 2. It's one of the nice non-toxic places by where I live. I called earlier today to make an appointment and they said they could do 4pm. I got there and noticed the AC was not working and the place was extremely hot. I asked the two front ladies and they said the AC was broken and they were trying to fix it. It was a hot day - 80 degrees outside and felt like it was 100 degrees inside. I was contemplating if I should reschedule my appointment (note: I'm 30 weeks pregnant) but then decided to stay since I've already wasted my time getting there. It was the worst manicure i've experienced - I was sweating like a pig and couldn't breathe. I asked for a fan and the lady told me they only had three and the other sides of the rooms needed them. I also noticed that none of the windows were open. Running a nail salon (even for a day) without proper ventilation or AC should be illegal.
Upon checkout I told them that they should've sent an email out to the customers saying that the AC is broken. If I knew about the broken AC when I made the appointment, I would have scheduled it for another day! They dismissed my complaint and said they are working on fixing it. I would be better off going to a regular nail place with a proper ventilation and air circulation than a non-toxic place like Tenoverten.

I had a pedicure and quickie manicure and both technicians were detail oriented and did an excellent job. The color selection was great and I especially rate the quick dry drops, they set everything in record time. My pedicure is still immaculate, even after walking around all day in socks and shoes (which I put on 15 minutes after she finished the polish). I think this is slightly on the expensive side, but I'll be back for the occasional treat.

The customer service when you first arrive is exceptional, with an offer of tea or water. The nail technicians are a bit dry, but I think that stems from the language barrier.

Clean nail salon that attempts to provide a more upscale experience. You need an appointment and they have a great selection of polishes (chanel, nars). They don't do gel polish.

Very relaxing atmosphere and extremely clean! My leg massage was amazing and everyone was welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning when I visit again!

Booked in a pinch after class because they are one of the only nail places by me open later. I have visited the Fidi location but it was so long ago, I don't fully remember my exact experience. However, they definitely take a different approach to your typical mani/pedi experience. Tenoverten considers themselves an "all natural salon", they use no gels/acrylics etc. Decor is minimal and simplistic, and they do not accept walk-ins. In this sense they are certainly higher-end, I love that they offer Nars and Chanel polishes (since many walk in nail salons by me do not). It is also wonderful to experience services without the overwhelming smell of fumes that normally leave me with a headache. When arriving for my appointments I was offered hot tea and water. While I will have to wait and see if my polish holds well, from an experience perspective it is above par.

I absolutely loved this place! I went to the one in Soho. The staff is very nice. I saw Lucina for an eyebrow wax and she did a fantastic job. My eyebrows after had the best shape I ever got before plus the gentle hard wax didn't leave me with any irritation. I have sensitive skin so this was amazing. Lucina is very sweet and recommend her to anyone for waxing!

I had a pedicure and quickie manicure and both technicians were detail oriented and did an excellent job. The color selection was great and I especially rate the quick dry drops, they set everything in record time. My pedicure is still immaculate, even after walking around all day in socks and shoes (which I put on 15 minutes after she finished the polish). I think this is slightly on the expensive side, but I'll be back for the occasional treat.

Booked in a pinch after class because they are one of the only nail places by me open later. I have visited the Fidi location but it was so long ago, I don't fully remember my exact experience.
