Walked in at peak after-work hours and was immediately attended to. She paid attention to my cuticles, but did nip me a bit. She painted the layers very evenly and covered every inch.But I did feel rushed while drying my nails, as she came over and told me my nails were ready, when I was in no rush to leave. Lately I've had trouble finding a nail salon where my manicure actually lasts a while without chipping. Then I came into Pastel! My manicure (regular not gel) turned out very well and 5 days later has yet to chip, which might be a new record for me! One thing I was a bit surprised on was how an $11 manicure ended up being $17 "with tax".. that felt a bit like a scam. But overall just happy my nails are still looking good! Read Less

I had an amazing massage with Cathy.  She really had a sense for where my knots where and got like every one of them.  I have lots of body pain from stress, Work, old car accidents etc so I have had massage hundreds of times in my life.  My last 3 were horrible so this was a nice surprise.  I also  had my nails done here like a year ago when visiting my sister who is also super picky but likes this place and she can afford to go anywhere!  Also I tip very well and Cathy was honest enough to say my sister already tipped her so I was happy to over tip even so :) Read Less

I love it here. The place is clean and so beautiful. I had Louisa doing my nails today and I have to say this was the best experience I've ever had. She was so sweet and kind, she continuously asked me what I would like to have done; unlike other salons. She took her time with me making sure everything was done properly. I just love her she's the best! I would definitely recommend anyone that wants their nails done and have someone care about you and what you want. Worst nail shop ever. Tools were disgusting and the lady who did my mani had no idea how to do manicure. She filed my under nail which was painful and painted onto cuticles and the skin. I asked her redo, but she even didn't know how to remove nail polish properly. The nail polish residue still remains between nails and the skin. Last week, I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in for a manicure.  What a pleasant experience!  The nail technician did a terrific job and made my nails look great.  The hand massage at the end was very relaxing too.  I could have sat there and enjoyed the hand massage for another hour!  So today, I walked by again and tried getting a pedicure.  This was a lot more involved, and just as relaxing.   I was one of those guys that never did manicures and pedicures, but after these two experiences, I have been converted...there is no reason for a guy to not enjoy this.Overall, the staff was very professional, polite, and pleasant.  And the store itself was large, clean, and relaxing.  I think I'll try a massage at Pastel next time! Unfortunately, I didn't feel like I was serviced , the lady that did my pedicure demanded a tip which totally not made me want to. After she saw how unhappy I was with the services, she wanted to give me a massage. However, it added more tension to my shoulders. Please save your money.Read Less

I went in for a fill in and gel manicure. The woman who did my nails was very rude. When I asked to see more colors she threw the polish book on the table. I showed her a picture of the nail shape I wanted and she did not do that, when I asked her to shape it more she got an attitude. The color is already coming off of the tips and edges of my nails. Very ridiculous considering how much it cost. Would not recommend at all.Read Less
