I've been having facials for years and this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The reception was rude, they never asked me if I was using rx lotions, I didn't have the procedure I wanted. Rita did my eyebrows and pedicure. She was very sweet and accommodating. Although she did a good job threading my eyebrows, I think $20 is a high price which is why I'm not giving 5 stars. However, the pedicure was great, super cute chairs and reasonable price. I have issues with ingrown nails and Rita was able to remove them gently and give good advice for after care. Found this place on Instagram @flirtspaandbrowbar & really liked their feed and services offered so I decided to check them out! It is conveniently set in an adorable building in Manhasset amongst other great shops and parking is easy. The feel is very intimate boutiquey girly feminine chic posh & overall relaxing. Front desk & staff are nice and professional. I've had a few services done here which include mink eyelash extensions, manicure, pedicure & threading. All were provided with the utmost care, cleanliness & comfort. My teenager loves to come here too. They run great monthly deals so take advantage of them! I recommend it! Read Less

I have been looking for a nail salon near this area since I moved to Mineola in December 2015. They are cheaper than Dashing Divas in Garden City but there is not too many choices of gel nail polish. Plus I am obsessed with clean edging which the girl that was doing my nails today didn't really do so well on. Will see how long it lasts. Wish they had more choices of gel polish. I received a pedicure here. The experience was very rushed but the pedicure wasn't totally bad but it wasn't anything special either. She cut my toenails too short for my liking and the polish job was sloppy. She had to do a lot of cleaning of polish off of my skin. I am from out of town but if ever in town again, I probably wouldn't return. Although, she was a sweet lady and we had great conversation I had to be honest in my review. Extremely friendly staff and super cute decor! I'm a bartender and my nails are extremely unhealthy from always being wet. The manicurist suggested the Nexgen powder gel manicure, it was done perfectly and my nails look amazing and have actually kept up even with how much I use my hands. Flirt is the only place I would trust with my brows. I have really thick eyebrows and anywhere else I would go the technicians would make them way to thin, but no matter which technician I have at Flirt they always do an impeccable job. I've had Lena, Frida, and Rita do my brows and I'm always pleased with how they come out. Whenever I leave Flirt, I always get so many compliments on my brows and people always ask me where I got them done.I also come here for facials and laser. Patricia does both my facials and laser and shes extremely friendly and personable. I don't have the best skin, but after I have facials my skin feels so clean and within a few days my blemishes clear up. The Sothys products they use are really helpful with my problematic skin and I always pick up products when I come by and I've definitely seen a huge difference in my skin now that I've been using them for about a year. The laser machine they use is really great- it does not hurt at all. The worst I feel is a slight pinch when they do my underarms, but for my legs I can't even feel the laser at all. I am halfway through my treatments and it now takes a couple months for my hair to grow back. Besides the services, I really like the atmosphere of Flirt and the location. I absolutely love this place, its always impeccable, and you can tell the staff goes above and beyond to take care of you. I've been to see Patricia numerous times, and her facials/skin treatments have improved my skin immensely. She knows the products, which is extremely important to me. Also, It's in a great area, and the space is super cute and everyone just works together. This is my go to place for my services. Worst place -Please do yourself a favor and do not come here. They have no service can't even say it's bad service because there is no service. The staff are just so standoffish I can't believe this is in manhasset. Also they did a really poor job on my nails the lady filed my nails so aggressively that it actually hit my nail bed.... Really disappointed. I have to wait months now for all my nails to grow out. I had to go to my doctor to get prescription for the damage she did on my nails. I've been a regular customer here for almost 2 years for eyebrow shaping. I feel like the service has gone downhill the last few months... It's appropriate to even say sloppy and unprofessional. First, I feel that any employee who is providing a service should WASH HER HANDS before touching a customer's face.  The girl who was doing my eyebrow threading just came back from lunch and her hands smelt like peppers and onions.  As she's using her fingers to comb my eyebrows I couldn't help but cringe.Secondly, I feel lately that the cashier/receptionist is ALWAYS trying to sell you something. Whether it be a manicure, laser treatment, a cosmetic, etc., you can't walk away from that place without being told you need an additional service or product.   They have pitched laser hair removal to me on more than one occasion.  Give it up already.  If a customer is interested, they will inquire. Pushing laser hair removal on an existing customer is a fast way to lose that customer.  I get laser hair removal complimentary from my dermatologist but even if I didn't, I would not have that type of service at Flirt.  I feel more comfortable with a medical professional handling a laser.Sadly, due to their overall unprofessionalism, I will not be returning to Flirt. First and foremost, let me say that what I value most in a salon is their focus on customer service, and flirt certainly did not let me down. I have been to many high-end salons in my life, and decided to try flirt instead of my usual NYC staples due to the special they were running on microblading. Due to a thyroid issue, I had begun to lose a lot of my eyebrow hair, and had done a ton of research on microblading and decided it would be a good option for me. I was welcomed with a smile by the owner, and introduced to who I have now named "the eyebrow genius" (aka Lauren). She first threaded my brows, then diligently spent the time drawing in my brows so that we could figure out the shape that worked best. Once she began microblading, she kept the conversation fun and continually asked how I was doing. At the end, I was beyond floored with the results, and people could not stop commenting on how amazing my brows looked. What makes this experience even better is that after coming in for the one month touch-up (which is expected), I didn't like how the color had faded. I called and spoke with the owner, who immediately said "I want you to be be completely happy with your experience here, so please come back in for a free touch up". This would never happen in a spa in the city, so I was beyond impressed. I again met with Lauren, who again mapped my brows and made sure I left feeling perfect. To find a salon who stands by wanting their clients to be happy is hard to find. I commend the owner of flirt for creating such a welcoming atmosphere that values quality, and ensures that a client leaves with exactly what they want. So if your brows are as sad as mine were, or if you need a place to relax with a facial, mani and brow appointment, go to flirt. You won't be sorry! Read Less

- receptionist took 5 minutes to acknowledge me - nail tech who was giving me a pedicure was going into too much detail regarding her personal life. - nail tech ripped the skin off my feet. This was a week ago and my skin is still healing and i'm getting married next weekend. -no drying station. I was kicked out of theMani station and shoved into a tiny corner with a portable dryer (not entirely the tech's fault but she was rude overall) -overall poor service* can't speak on their other services or or technicians and I'll never find out because I won't be returning. Did I really just pay $20 for eyebrow "threading"?!?! Dalia threaded my eyebrows for about 20% of the time and spent 80% of the time plucking the rest. I left with 4 spots of blood and some sticky gloss/gel that she applied which is making my eyebrows sting. I was SO shocked when asked to pay $20 for this service. I would be satisfied if it was a quality job but there are several scattered hairs that she missed. With the pain and time I was put through I could have plucked my eyebrows myself and done a better job. I urge Flirt Spa to reconsider their advertisement and pricing of threading. I thought this place would be my new spot since I just moved to the area but it just left a bitter taste in my mouth. I feel cheated and feel so strongly about this that I'm reviewing this place right after leaving! 1 star for the cappuccino - free1 star for the nail service - $50Also, this place just had an obnoxious ambiance. Other customers were so loud, and talking about their personal lives to basically the entire room. I would write it anyway of course - we Elites just do that. Friendly staff, good colors from the major brands, fast and great service. They have hygienic tools and that is super important to me!It's a great chatty girlie place and you feel like you are hanging around the boudoir with the grrrls getting primped. I do wish they had a tad more space for the pedí area as you squeeze in and out of your chair and it's a bit on edge. But the chair, though not a massage chair still is very comfy.There is only one blower for your hands and for feet so they switch it interchangeably and that is kinda weird. * Note to management : invest in a hand dryer so I don't have to put my hand ms where someone has put their feet ;)I will return soon enough for the great service and vibe. WOW This place s Amazing!! The staff was warm & welcoming, the place was clean & very nicely decorated! I went in for a mani/ped & I ended up getting a facial....SO happy I did it was relaxing & my skin felt very refreshed after!! Then I find out they do laser hair removal also so I met the technician Patricia who is VERY NICE, she also took the time to explain how the Laser Hair Removal works step by step! Obsessed with the laser results!!! I did 7 sessions on my underarms and the hair is completely gone. Started my legs and Brazilian much later and only did 3 sessions and the hair is so fine can hardly notice it. Also love the spray tan solution its organic doesn't smell or feel sticky and most importantly doesn't look orange. It really looks like an amazing natural Caribbean tan. I was severely burned by laser hair removal treatment in October 2013 at Flirt Spa and Brow Bar, 1693 Northern Blvd., Manhasset, NY. After Flirt Spa and Brow Bar burned me, they refused to pay for my medical expenses to treat the burns. They also refused my request for just compensation and forced me to file a lawsuit against them, which I have done (Supreme Court, Nassau County, Index no. 600575/14). Their evasiveness has continued in the lawsuit. For example, the Court ordered Flirt Spa to provide me with their insurance information, but the deadline has passed, and they have not done so. I am speaking out in an attempt to educate the public about Flirt Spa’s unscrupulous business practices. Flirt Spa builds its business on the backs of our friends, mothers, daughters and clients, and I feel compelled to make the public aware of my horrific experience with them.
