My experience was excellent. Nails were great for the first day. Received a full set acrylic. Day after i went to work at a horse farm. All day i had been taking heavy horse blankets on and off okay great. I go to flick my cigarette and the nail breaks in half! Looks as if the tips weren't properly glued. Ive beem getting acrylics for years and have never seen this happen. Fast forward to why i wanted them done. Im now in boston on vacation. I close my damn car door and two more break. I LOVE it here!!!! My first time going was on a Sunday night because they were the only ones open and I never seen them before in there location. They had me sold and I always come here now! Very professional. They make sure everything is done right and they take there time and not rush . Very considerate and polite! I had a full set put on the week before Christmas and I loved the overall shape of my nails, loved the salon (very clean and the workers were very courteous) and wrote a glowing review. I have since then deleted that review and I am writing a new review. I've had several fills done since, and each and every time I've had nails pop off. Now, I wore acrylics for years and years before having this set put on and never once lost a nail. Why is it that here, every week I'm having ...nails pop off? I'm a stay at home mom with a dishwasher. My hands are not in water often, I'm not rough on them. Every single nail is lifting on the sides. I had to stop into the salon to have a nail replaced after 5 days of having a fill and he wanted me to get a fill. I then explained, I don't need a fill, I just need the nail fixed. The salon WAS busy when I came in and the dryer area was full. He rushed through replacing my nail in about 3 minutes, used a piece of paper to "dry" my nail, sprayed some quick dry on me and pushed me out the door. He didn't charge me for this, but I was just super taken back by it. If I'm not paying for a fill, you don't care at all about me as a customer? I'm wondering what in the heck is being used for "fills" the little white bottle of powder? It doesn't touch the sides of the nail for one, and two, peoples nails shouldn't be popping off every other day. Every time I've been in the salon people are in there getting nails fixed. This is a major issue. Since then I've soaked them off and am getting a new set put on elsewhere. I think this salon might be okay for a pedicure or something but I do not recommend them for manicures. I've had a friend come in for a gel manicure and hers were chipping the next day. I came for months with my significant other for their awesome pedicures. I decided to give their manicures a shot .... Terrible gel manicures! Chipped within a couple days. Owner will charge to fix each nail or tell you to get a whole new gel manicure. He told me it was my fault it’s chipped because of work. He told me it lasts less than a week for some and 3 weeks for others? No. He wanted more money. The thing is: It was 3 days later and I hadn’t been working. Even if I was..., I’m not a factory worker and my hands are not in water often. I hold meetings, send emails and have conference calls all day. I’ve had my nails done for 25+ years and have never had a worse experience. I paid for a new gel set and the same thing happened the second time .... never again. They use garbage nail products and don’t prepare the nail properly. My daughter brought in a picture of a coffin shaped matte pink nail with 2 accent nails on each hand with silver glitter. She asked for acrylic and paid for it. What she got was cornstarch nails that turned yellow in 2 hours. I have pictures of what she asked for and what she received. This is not OK. A business should never charge for what they didn't give. She wanted a demure coffin shaped matte pink with some silver glitter on 2 accent nails, what she got was very thick cornstarch nails. I will include pictures of what she showed the nail tech and what she received. Now. I wouldn't be angry if she paid for what she got, she didn't. She paid full price acrylic nail set for a cornstarch set that is yellowed (it's not even a full 24 hours later). Cornstarch nails are notorious to not hold up to stress. Anyone with even a remote knowledge of nail tech would not pay to have them done and certainly NOT pay 40$. This was unethical to say the LEAST. Hands down, the best full set I have ever gotten. My nail tech was super friendly and he took his time which I appreciated so much. Never felt rushed the entire time I was there.
