The owner of this school and one of her talented students helped prepare me for my dream job, Miss NY USA. They gave me the right tools to be able to confidently walk across the stage and were able to teach me full speed. This speaks volumes at the level of education and performance at Long Island Nail Skin and Hair Institute.

I attended Long Island Skin Nail & Hair Institute full time for the Esthetics program. I can't emphasize enough how truly amazing every person that works here is. My teacher went above and beyond to teach me every skill and technique I would need to be successful. Any question I ever had was answered and thoroughly explained. The education I personally received has made me feel confident in my self to pursue an esthetics career. Not only did I take the esthetics course, I als...o took the Microdermabrasion Facial class & the Chemical peel class. After each class I felt 100% comfortable and confident in myself to perform these services outside of the school. Anytime I needed something from a staff member they went above and beyond to help meet my needs and exceed my expectations. I would recommend this school to anyone in the industry to start their education & or continue to further their education. I genuinely love the atmosphere and staff at Long Island Skin Nail & Hair institute. Thank you for all you do! See More

It is always a pleasure to go to the school and be surrounded by such strong educated empowering women! The staff is so attentive, the teachers are amazing and the owner is so in touch with everything that is going on with the school! If you are looking to further your esthetics education or start your education this is the school to be at! Best decision I made 6 years ago!

This "school" is an absolute joke. I learned absolutely nothing useful other than getting ready for the practical portion of the state board. I feel like I totally wasted my money--wish I would have g...
This "school" is an absolute joke. I learned absolutely nothing useful other than getting ready for the practical portion of the state board. I feel like I totally wasted my money--wish I would have gone anywhere else. The teachers dont seem to be educated enough themselves to be able to teach others as all they do is read from the textbook without adding anything of their own to say. Teachers answer cell phones in class and talk to students as though theyre out to lunch rather than in a classroom environment. Other students are also the ones teaching you most of the time when it comes to hands on because the teacher is nowhere to be found (atleast during part-time) I was highly disappointed mostly by the teacher I was given--but the school itself is a trainwreck as well. I highly suggest everyone stay far away from this failing institution.
