My daughter went here to get her prom nails done they day before prom. We had 115 appt for pedicure and anc nails . Didn't leave there u til 4 pm . The pedicure she didn't do anything but soak her feet and paint them and did a design my daughter said she didn't like . When you tried to tell the employee she didn't like it ,she keep saying oh it's fine it's fine she'll be fine. My daughter didn't want to argue with so she let it go . NOW the nails! We literally spent 2 hrs on the shortest and thinnest anc nails I've ever seen (explains why one broke when we left not even 2hrs after getting them done ) French white lines are not straight. I asked for a refund and the receptionist was so rude saying they don't give refunds WERE disgusting. I ask to speak to a manager and he left . So I've been trying for a week to get a hold of the manager and they keep saying he's not in ! What great customer service ! If this wasn't for her prom I would have said forget it and left. I went to this place for the first time about a month ago. Very nice but even with an appointment I had to wait almost a half hour for my pedicure. Pedicure was fine and I really needed my nails done so I made an appointment to go in the next day. Waited about 20 minutes this time but my nails came out great and they even did my daughters nails for 5 bucks. So I decided to go back to get my nails done again. Went in a week ago and they squeezed me in towards the end of the night. The woman they gave me was very nice but you could tell she had never done ANC before. My nails actually didn’t look bad when I left though so I was fairly satisfied. Fast forward to one week later and the ANC is peeling off of my nails. You get QUALITY work when you come here for a reasonable price. I am from NYC and had a hard time finding a good nail salon my whole college career, so sad I didn't discover this salon sooner. Place is usually packed as soon as they open so I do recommend making an appointment. They have a wide range of ANC colors to choose from. They only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they treat their usual customers with a friendlier/ more cheerful attitude (and everyone should receive that cheerfulness when they walk in the door). One of the worst experiences. I booked a mani/pedi for myself and my mother last night for 2pm today. We come at 2:05 and are told to pick a color. We pick our colors are and waiting for another 5 mins- all in all not a big deal. We are taken back to our pedicure chairs and instructed to put our feet in the bath. Both of our water was very cold; I ask to add more hot water and the woman turns on the tap - freezing cold water comes out. We are then told that the salon is out of hot water. Weird and pathetic but ok. We are left sitting with our feet in the bath for 45 mins. No one is bothering to check on us or give us an update as to how much longer we're going to have to wait. Staff was rude to us when we made a complaint and as we were leaving one even sarcastically said "you're leaving? I've been waiting for you"; no apologies for making us wait and waste our time. Loved Venetian Nail Spa! We had an appointment and were helped promptly - but walk ins were also taken fairly quickly. Price for an ANC manicure was very reasonable and in line with other area salons. The salon was definitely crowded but we still got thorough attention and service. I've been a customer here for about the last two years. Super clean, gorgeous space ( recently redone), friendly staff and they do a really nice job. However,I took a break from coming here because there were multiple occasions where I would make an appointment and then had to wait over 30minutes for the appointment, which is frustrating especially if you're on break or plan accordingly. Or when trying to make an appointment to person being rude or short over the phone. Last night I got a pedicure and rebooked for today to have my ANC done. The person i typically go to is no longer there, so i asked for one of two people and was assured one of them would take care of me. I arrived on time but yet again found myself waiting thirty minutes past my appointment time and eventually I had to bring it up and ask because i did have a timeline to get back to the office. What i thought was going to be an hour turned into nearly two. I think if you have people booked for appointments you should make sure they are available for the people who plan in advance and their services. My nails came out great but I don't know if it will return as being seen at the time of appointment seems to be a consistent issue here. Read Less

I agree with the prices changing and not on the wall . I went there a few months ago and was charged 25 for ANC went last night and was charged 40. I have always had men and the service was great I had a women last night and she was rude and seemed to hate her job. Makes me think of the Orange is the new Black episode where they asked the women if she was being held against her will lol. Also the women seem to speak amongst them selves in Vietnamese while the men speak English which makes it for a much better experience not impressed at all at my last visit. I read the reviews and was excited to stop in. I took my best friend with me and we will both never go back. I went in for ANC and my friend for a manicure - WHAT A MESS. I was helped by three different women, all of which seemed to hate their job. The last girl who attempted to do my nails filed the nop on my nails so low, that today, exactly 3 weeks later, my finger nails are still purple. I was in tons of pain from the filing and simply ended up getting a regular manicure because I couldn't take it any longer. Can't understand why this salon is always so busy. The first two times I walked in I was told they were too busy but instead of encouraging me to stay and giving me a reasonable time frame to wait I was told everyone was too busy for a manicure. I vowed not to go back but this last week I was in the plaza and I wanted to give this salon the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't busy so I was able to sit right down and get a regular manicure. It was very fast and not thorough, polish was applied thick and goopy. I dried my nails for 20 minutes to ensure they were dry before I left. Within 8 hours I had chips in my nails and by noon the next day EVERY ONE of my nails were chipped. I stopped back in at 3:30 to ask if someone could re polish my nails and was told that my tech wasn't there so I would have to wait. I asked how long and I was told they weren't sure, I should call back. Seems to me that a simple re polish job would go a long way to ensure good customer service but again I was told everyone was too busy to help. I get a manicure once a week, I think I'll stick with my salon that invites my business instead of always seemingly pushing new business away. Read Less

This nail salon is always busy but understandably so.It's very clean and the nail techs are meticulous and efficient. They offer ANC, gel and different types of pedicures. Soon they will offer microblading, which is a semi permanent eyebrow filler. It looks interesting. I find it's best to make an appointment. However, I never had to wait longer than 20 minutes when decide to do a walk in service. Lastly, the prices comparable to other nail salons in the area. Read Less

I had a good experience here. My girl, Jennifer, was very nice. Talked while doing my mani and pedicure so I enjoyed her. It's a busy place but was managed well. The owner was nice, let me know they would be closed for a couple days to do some upgrades. That was nice since I probably would have looked to come back while they were closed. Wonderful salon. While at times it seems like it may get too busy they seem to handle it very well. If you make an appointment you're in at that time. If not, still appears to be an appropriate wait, nothing that would make me walk out. I have yet to find a nail place upstate that matched or exceeded my expectations when compared to downstate. Super clean nail salon and Dan did an awesome job!  I only got ANC but based on how clean it was I would come back for a pedicure as well.  It is a bit more expensive than the typical nail prices in Albany but I am willing to sacrifice price for cleanliness. Read Less
