If by "luxury" they mean "will cut your cuticles until they bleed and your nails will chip the next day" then they fit the name of their establishment. Totally not impressed. I stopped in on Sunday for a simple manicure ($13) after a tough week. The woman who did my nails was nice enough. Since I was the first person of the day (likely) I cannot confirm whether or not the nail tools were sterilized. Didn't look like they were.... When cutting my cuticles I almost screamed when she went right down to my flesh. I bled... quite a bit. She had to put some sort of something on it to stop the bleeding which made me writhe in pain. Ridiculous.I tried to be understanding since mistakes happen. However, two of my nails chipped the next day,  so my patience has officially worn off. Never, ever again. PLEASE, please go anywhere else. There are so many other places within .1 miles of this disgrace of a nail salon.  To summarize the worst manicure experience: nails are lopsided and rough; color required 3 coats, but because I said (in the beginning) I didn't have a lot of time, he tried to make it work with only 2, and it looked terrible. I requested he fix the shape of 2 of my nails, and various streaks in the polish. He responded by storming out of the salon, leaving another woman to fix the mess. In fairness, I did state that my little sister could have done a better job than he did--after he stormed out. When I told her I wanted the tip I had already given him to go to her, as in my opinion, a tip is given for good service/work, neither of which the first man provided, the man stormed back in, called me rude (in front of another customer and the staff), stated that I thought "my dollars had power and meant something" and continued to yell at me and called me rude several times. None of the staff told him to stop, but told me "not to worry" and that if I came back (yeahhhh okay), they would take care of me. The woman did mostly fix the color, but it required a total of 6 coats (its Essie,that's absurd!) and the shape is absolutely terrible. Please, PLEASE do not go here. Disappointing. Made an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. The female nail tech did a nice job with the gel manicure. I was handed over to a male tech for the pedicure. He did no nail shaping leaving my nails uneven. Polish was sloppily applied and he missed half of at least one nail. I tried to go to Nail Works, which I'd heard good things about, but they were full so I headed next door to this place...mistake. Really shoddy gel manicure done by a male technician. Seemed like he wasn't even actually looking at my nails (I had to prod him to continue filing some extremely uneven nails that he seemed to consider done...). The edges of the gel are super jagged and uneven (and keep getting caught on my clothes, just two days later); it looks like a child did it. I guess it looks alright from far away--but, if that's the case, I might as well have just done the manicure myself.The guy did seem like he was attempting to be nice (made polite small talk, asked if I liked the color before applying it), so I'll give him two stars. At first glance, it doesnt look like much. As you first walk in, it's nothing too glamorous or special. It's pretty plain. However, when I walked in I was greeted by a friendly male who asked me how I was and what he could do for me. I sat down with the woman who did my nails. She was wonderful. Took her time, asked about me and how my day was. I was the last customer in the salon and everyone was kind of cleaning up around me (which doesn't bother me much) she still took her time and didn't rush me out of the salon. Went today for a gel manicure.   There was no one there except for 2 employees.   My technician was ok.  I felt like he was rushing through.   This salon is not very clean.   Overall I got what I  needed for  $5 less than expected. Read Less

Went with my girlfriend today because I had been given a gift certificate to this place. Was happy with how my nails turned out but wasn't the best experience. Staff wasn't friendly and only two people were trying to meet the needs of 6. My friend had a hard time choosing a color because once they painted it on it never matched the sample where she chose it. Read Less

I've been going here regularly for a while now. I never have to wait going in. I've had pedicures and manicures done at other places and the polish always chips. Whenever i get a pedicure here it always lasts for 3-4 weeks. The owner is extremely friendly and always recognizes me. The prices are the same pretty much everywhere  you go but I'm always happy with my experience here. Clean, friendly, and good quality - can't go wrong! Read Less

Luxury Nails was bought and is under new management. I went in last week and had an incredible pedicure. They charge $25 and it was as good as the ones the spas do..it took a little over an hour and every minute was heavenly. I went back this week for a shellac manicure and was pleased as well. Another hour well spent complete with soaking in warm water to soften my cuticles and a real manicure along with the shellac. This was also $25.  I highly recommend Luxury Nails and think they measure up to the local day spas that charge at least twice as much. I will definitely be back! Read Less
