I'm so, so, SO happy I was blessed by this place. Katie worked wonders with my hair, which is nothing short of a miracle considering how much of a challenge my hair is: coarse texture, used to be dyed dark red, and now bleach blonde. She toned it so beautifully. It's the best it's looked in forever. She also cut my hair EXPERTLY. I absolutely could not love my new color from Affinity more! Katie did a fantastic job, taking the time to figure out exactly what blonde would look best with my hair and meticulously doing every foil right. From initial color consultation all the way through styling the end result, each step was perfect. I've gotten my blonde done at many different salons in both Buffalo and Boston and this is definitely the best it has looked yet. I will be coming back and recommending Affinity without hesitation! Had a Gift Certificate from my husband - Unfortuneately I didnt notice the expiration date written on the back. It expired on 12/24/2012 and today is 01/17/2013. Yes, I should have noticed. I asked them to honor it and they told me no, so I lose. $50.00 down the drain. The sad part is that they could have earned a new client. Instead, they would prefer to cheat me out of my money. My friend did my hair a few weeks a go and did a crappy job. I knew this would happen but I didnt know where to go. I found the salon through this sight and Im back to say I love my hair. My appointment was with Gina, she fixed my hair and got rid of that orangey color I had and made it more platinum blonde with lots of highights!. My hair salon that I usually go to is in Batavia (because my family lives there and i grew up there.) I now live in Kenmore to go to school at Buffalo State. I was scared to go to a different place, but I needed something closer. I called Affinity and they gave me an appointment last week with Katie. She was so nice and actually took the time to sit down with me and talk about how i wanted my hair. I got something different from what i usually get--hilights! I followed my stylist to Affinity and am so happy that I did! For my first visit the stylist had plans and was supposed to leave early, but fit me in so I could fix my roots before the weekend and another week went by! They are very accommodating and take great care in their work. If you leave unsatisfied, that is absolutely your issue because they will work with you to make sure that you are happy with the overall experience. The salon was really clean and very modern.
