This review will have both positive and negative feedback. I have been going to Stylus for a very long time and used to brag about the place. They keep the facility very clean and follow all safety/sterilization rules. The girl who does my pedicure is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is bright, knowledgeable, sweet, and someone I am happy to know. I have always tipped big because I believe in taking care of someone who performs a service that one is satisfied with. My most recent experience was not a pleasant one. I was getting a pedicure and had my foot up on the podium (for lack of a better word) so that the razor could be used on my calluses. As my foot was on the podium, one of the other women came over and literally grabbed it out from underneath my foot and said "I need this." I was in shock. I am being treated with a razor and you come and rip the "thing" out from under me. I was not happy and called her a "nasty b*tch." There is quite a language barrier so she did not understand. I tried to explain it to the gentleman in charge but once again, the language situation occurred. After all of the wonderful times I had at this salon, this one incident has turned me off and I will be taking my business and large tips elsewhere. Read Less

They are always kind & courteous. My arthritis flared up in my feet & when I told them my pedicure was treated with the best care.  The plastic lining is changed with each customers  pedicure. I highly recommend getting your nails & pedicure at Stylus Nail Salon. Read Less

Just moved to the area and saw this place had the best reviews in the area. This place did not have a large color gel selection. I wanted a certain look for a wedding I was in and due to the limited color gel selection I was unable to do it. My manicure was ok. My pedicure did not last longer than a week. Not one to complain really but was so disappointed in my pedicure today! Haven't had a pedi in months so I was really looking forward to a good one. Went here based on all the good reviews and really have no clue why people would love it here. The lady who did mine was so unfriendly and rude. She basically tapped lotion on my legs and was rushing through everything. There was literally like only 4 people there so it wasn't busy. Didn't even thank me for giving her the tip. Just grabbed it and walked away. So bummed. Will not be coming back here. Read Less

I decided to go here because it was close to home. I usually go to Selden to get my nails done. I went because of the previous good reviews. I took my mom and when we went they took us right away. The person who did my nails didn't soak or prep my nails before doing my cuticles so it hurt. I got a gel manicure and she clearly wasn't taking good care of my nails. The lighting in the salon was dim so it look alright but when I got outside I saw that she did uneven coats and there was stray nail polish on my skin around the nail she didn't bother to take off. Also I saw her put her tools back in her little carrier so I'm sure she'll reuse it.There was a person there before me who was getting a gel manicure and she was still there after I left so I guess if you are a regular or something you get the full treatment.It's  $25 for gel so I guess I payed for the crap experience Read Less

I am writing this review based on what my wife tells me. My wife is a very picky person and if a place isn't clean she won't go, so that being said my wife likes getting her nails done here. She gets a manicure and a pedicure and likes this place a lot. I go in for holidays and get gift certificates for my wife which makes a great present as long as they like were the gift certificate has been purchased from. I'm going to say if my wife is happy you probably will be too. Give them a try.... Read Less

This was my first time here.  After being turned away by another salon, I decided I would try this one because it had good reviews.  I can see why!   I walked in and they were pretty busy, but were able to take me right away.  The place is clean. The staff is wonderful.  And it was the best massage during a pedicure I've ever gotten.  The girl I had was Lisa, but they were all pretty friendly :)  the prices are typical, but I definitely received much better service here than most places I've been!!!  I'd definitely recommend. Incredibly clean nail salon. A little pricey but it's worth it for the quality service.They have brand new pedicure chairs that are very comfy and they use some kind of plastic disposable covers in the bath portion so it's very sanitary. I also got something new called "powder gel" which takes out the need for using those UV oven things that  bake fingernails for regular color gel. Color selection for powder gel is limited since it's so new, but the colors are glittery and cute.Bathroom is so clean and smells very nice like flowers. Read Less

I've been to every nail salon in the Holbrook area and this is the only one i'll go back to. Clean, professional, friendly...it's everything you want in a nail salon. Prices are fair and the service is good. I'm a regular so they know my name and i've never had to wait more than 10 minutes (if that) but I honestly can't even tell you the last time I had to wait. The specialty pedicures are expensive but worth it for some pampering. They have a good selection of gel colors. I see them every two weeks and am never disappointed. Read Less

Went down to Holbrook to this salon after reading the reviews. I was not disappointed . I choose a silk wrap nail extension set which was a new application for me...they came out beautiful, and so natural looking. The nail tech repeatedly asked me to look at them along the process in the event I wanted to change the shape, length etc. the shaping was just beautiful, natural...really pretty perfect. I've been to EVERY nail salon in Holbrook and this one is by far the best. They are affordable, clean, and well-trained. They don't rush you out and take the time to ask your preferences. The woman who gives the back massages is AMAZING. I get the gel manicure and a pedicure every 2 weeks and i'm never dissatisfied. The manicure lasts the whole time so i never have chips and they use the best gel brand that doesn't ruin my nails underneath. Love it here! Read Less

This salon was very clean and ran right on time despite being quite busy for a Saturday morning. I had a manicure and pedicure. The woman who did my nails was very friendly, efficient, and did a great job. Upon moving from the pedi chair to the manicure table I messed up one of my toenails and she fixed it. No sighing, no complaining, no telling me I should have done something differently. I said sorry, she fixed the polish, and that was that. The mani/pedi cost $32. $11 for the mani and $21 for the pedi.The only reason I have to give Stylus 4 stars instead of 5 is that they have awful nail dryers. The toenail dryer was ok...the fan blew on my toes and if I positioned my feet right they both got full air at once. The nail dryer was terrible. The fan hardly worked.Even though I don't think I've found my "perfect" mani/pedi place yet, this was a good experience and I will most likely be going back. Read Less

Ok, so everyone needs to be a girlie girl sometimes...  This nail salon is so clean, has a well trained licensed staff and provides great customer service. You can choose from a large selection of nail colors and always come out looking fabulous. Although this is there first review, Stylus have been a hometown favorite for over 8 years. Oh and cool perks of going here... they will give you your own box to hold your nail buffer/other equipment that they provide, a free pair of sandals, a free paffrin foot treatment for the back of your heal in the winter, free 3-5 min upper back massage and they use an actually drying machine rather then the mini fan to hold our hands next to.
