I have been looking for a new nail salon for a while now and looked to yelp for help.  I live out in Herkimer so there really aren't that many options. I was tired of always going to the same place. I really loved the service. I'm very picky about the way I get my nails done and they were very patient with all of my request. I broke one of them at work and I just got them done the day before and it hurt so bad but I went in and asked if they could fix one nail and she made me pay her $5 for one freaking nail, that's a rip off and the length isn't even the same. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Very unprofessional staff and owner. The guy that did my nails did a horrible job and he knew I was unhappy with his work. He then proceeded to over charge me. The owner came over and yelled at me and made excuses. They are crooks and do not care about making customers happy. I wish I can give a zero rating. NEVER GOING BACK!! Read Less

I prefer Luxury Nails over any nail salon I've been to. The people are very friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and I'm always very happy with my nails. I usually get a gel manicure, and they have never chipped before they've grown out long enough to want removed (sometimes over two weeks!). Read Less

We (my husband and myself) were greeted when we walked in and it wasn't one of those forces greetings they were truly happy to see us even though it was our first time here. After letting the guy know that we would like to have pedicures done, he told me to pick a color. We waited a few minutes for the chairs to be ready, and the the relaxation started. These chairs have a seat option that is a bit unusual. In other nail places I have been to the seat will either fold up on the side to hug you legs or it will vibrate. This chair hugged my legs but them it has a bump that would come up right in the middle of my butt!!! Totally weird!!The lady that did my toes (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) did a really great job. She asked if I wanted a design, I said yes, then she asked if I wanted black and sliver or white and silver. I wanted a cute basic design and that's totally what she gave me.
