They did an okay job with my pedicure but they are not as sanitary as other places. They don’t use a plastic liner for the tub, she didn’t put on a new sticker for the scrubbing tool and she didn’t not disinfect the tools used on me before jumping to the next person. I went to Nabi Nails based on the reviews however I have some mixed opinions. My usual place was booked and I wanted to squeeze in a mani/pedi during lunch so I called and made an appointment for 11am and they took me right away. They had someone work on my toes and nails at the same time and managed to finish within 25 mins. Good because I was on lunch but bad because I felt rushed. Note: The pedicure person forgot to lotion my feet and they did not soak my nails in hot water before cutting and pushing back my cuticles. Their basic pedicure does not use exfoliating scrubs for your legs, no massage chairs or hot towels. Other nail salons offer these features in a basic pedicure. Also they will charge you an extra $7-$10 if you pick the Essie gel-couture. They did not know exactly what they wanted to charge. On a better note: the shaping and paint job was not bad considering how quickly they were able to get it done and the ladies were nice. Would I come back? Probably not. Read Less

I went into Nabi Nails to get a fill in and also a gel manicure on 11/7. It was empty so it was nice being sat immediately. Right off the bat I noticed it was taking the woman quite a while to just remove my previous polish and file them down. After that she started the fill in using the acrylic that they pour on as opposed to the traditional acrylic using the liquid and brush (which I have always gotten). I was hesitant at first because I felt like my nails after that were still a bit flimsy (I have pretty long nails, so they need to be sturdy), I also wish they would have given me a heads up or even asked me if I was okay with using that since I've never tried it before. Anyways I was charged $47 and it took about 2 1/2 hours for a simple nail job. Flash forward to today 11/15  my fake nail has actually lifted off of my nail bed on one finger and all the rest of my acrylics seem like they might come off too. I also noticed that there is a bump in all my nails that shows were my old fill in stopped and where the powder she put on my nails starts. I've attached pictures below. I'm super upset that I have to get them fixed 8 DAYS LATER!  Never returning and I wouldn't recommend this shop. Read Less

Went for gel nails. Walk-ins are fine. Gave me a coupon for 20% off my next visit. I took them off after two weeks because my nail growth was looking crazy so it probably would have stayed on for longer which is a big plus. I'm very particular with the neatness of my manicures and at home I always use a brush and acetone to make the perfect, clean curve along the cuticles. I was really happy with the end result since it looked very neat and professional. It wasn't perfect because one of the nail had some tiny bubbles and the some others had a thinness on the sides that you could see where the second coat didn't cover all the way but those things were only noticeable if you're looking close up. I took a star off because their gel colors selection was so small. I'm a fan of nude colors and they only really had one color that I liked for my skin tone. Therefore I'd only go back if I wanted that same perfect nudey lilac unless they added more. Read Less

I was in Long Island from out of town looking to get a mani/pedi and found this place on Yelp. I'm so glad I did!!!! It was legitimately the best, most relaxing pedicure I have ever had! The hot stone massage was amazing! She even rubbed my shoulders when she put me under the dryer. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind! My gel manicure turned out perfect! I could not have been happier with my experience! Side note, the place could probably use a deep clean and some of the equipment is a little dated....but the service was just exceptional! I used Yelp to find this salon last Monday (12/19) and when I called for pricing around noon they told me $30 for a gel manicure and $5 for paraffin treatment. I asked if they had appointments available and they told me to come right in.The staff was friendly and the shop was clean. Being in the salon was a positive experience. However, I've never had a gel manicure so I was unfamiliar with the system. My nails were lightly filed but not buffed and had some sharp edges which I figured she'd file away later. However after she was done with 2 coats of color I had to ask her to file it prior to the top coat. The paraffin was nice and it was a pretty decent manicure from what I could tell. Like I said I've never had a gel before but someone told me they should last 2-3 weeks, so when I noticed a small chip on the side of one of my nails on Wednesday, I was a little bothered but whatever it was barely noticeable. HOWEVER, by Sunday (12/25) half the polish on my left hand had peeled away and my right hand had chipped significantly. I have been searching for a new nail salon for quite sometime. I did a YELP search for nail salons in the area, and came across NABI nails. I didn't want acrylic. I wanted something to protect my nails, so what I got is a silk wrap. Michelle did my nails, and Sarah did my Pedi. The salon is clean. The people are friendly. Very pleasant and welcoming. I found Nabi Nails randomly today. I was driving around running errands still severely upset after earlier having another nail salon do a terrible full set of UV gel pink & white nails. I had decided to treat myself for my graduation tomorrow and I was so disappointed because it was a special treat for myself and I work so hard for my money. I couldn't take it anymore and had to have my nails fixed. I stopped into Nabi Nails and explained to Michelle and showed her my crooked, uneven, rough, and bumpy nails. Nabi Nails does not do UV Gel but Michelle was willing to fix my nails as she saw how upset I was. Michelle took her time meticulously fixing each nail by re-shaping and buffing each nail. My nails now look amazing. Michelle was friendly and kind while she worked and very attentive to every detail of my nails. I will gladly return to Nabi Nails and am happy to now make this my go-to nail salon. I guess the horrific nail experience in the morning was a blessing in disguise because I wouldn't have found Michelle and Nabi Nails otherwise. Thank you Michelle so very much!!! Read Less

I had a wonderful experience today! I had a French Regular Pedicure with Callus remover and a regular manicure.  The callus treatment was amazing and my feet feel so much better. They were quick, but not rushed, and got me out of there within my lunch hour.  They even gave me a 10% off coupon for next time when I told them that I found them using Yelp!I will be back to use the coupon. I went to this salon because the previous salon I went to is under new ownership and the services plummeted in quality. Nabi Nails is close to my home, and had good reviews.  Michele and Sarah took care of me and they both did an incredible job!  I had a full set of silk wrap extensions and a special pedicure. My pedicure was soothing and was well worth the extra six dollars!  My tips are quite light but sturdy and shaped exactly as I asked Michelle do do them.  The environment was clean, but not exotic or contemporary, which is no matter to me.  I will definitely be back!  The ladies were all friendly, courteous and professional.  I highly recommend to anyone in the Hauppague/Brentwood area! I've been going to Nabi for over 10 years. Actually most of the women in my family go there as well. We all love Michelle and the ladies.Most of the other reviews mention the price. Nabi isn't the most expensive or the least. But the mani/pedi/waxing is better than the more "upscale" ($$$$) and the whole atmosphere is brighter cleaner and nicer overall than the "bargain" ($) salons. Read Less

I love Nabi nails. They are perfect. I have had the best pedicure and gel manicure ever. The other salons have nothing compared to Nabi's.   They are close both to my job and home. The times i have came in they arent as busy as other salons which is magical because they take there time in doing your nails. You show them the design you want and they create it much better than what you showed them. This is the only place where I will get my pedicure done. I absolutely love this place. I found them a bit after I started working at my previous job, which was located within the industrial area off Motor Parkway. It was perfect because it was so close to my job and my home as well. I would make an apt at noon so that I could get what I needed done during my break. The best thing is that they are so cooperative. They knew I was on break and did everything they could to get me out in time. Everyone there is also very nice. I have gotten my nails done by literally every employee and I have never had an issue with their work. I also get my eyebrows done there and I have to say that Michelle (owner) is fantastic. I ONLY get my eyebrows done here and NOWHERE else. Michelle shaped them up for me and has helped me keep up with the shape. Even on the very few times that I have gone and she has not been able to do them for me, she would explicitly inform her staff on how to do them just right.I also went with my mother once to treat her to a pedi and my mother loved it and let me tell you that she isn't into getting her nails done. Everyone was very nice and understanding when it came to her. I really appreciated that. One thing is that they are quite pricey, but I honestly don't mind. I have tried a lot of nail salons and I am never satisfied, but at Nabi's I always am. Therefore, I do not mind paying a bit more for a gel manicure or any other treatment..Now that I have mentioned 'gel manicure'. They are the best, again I have tried other salons, but my gel manicure never comes out remotely great. However, here at Nabi Nails they do an excellent job. Granted they don't have the widest selection of colors for Gel but they come out fantastic. The great thing about Nabi is that they take really good care of your nails and treat them gently, which is why I believe their work comes out great.If your looking for a good nail salon and are within the area, this is the place to go! When I worked in Hauppauge, I used to visit Nabi during my lunch break to get a pedicure, manicure or wax my legs. I LOVED going here. It was always clean, friendly and the 2 ladies that usually assisted me [Christine and Jen] were so professional. This is the only place that would wash my hands prior to painting with color. Something I never thought about, but happy they did it after all the filing and nipping. They were always able to get me in and out within 30-35 mins - Perfect for your lunch break! this place is pretty average.  i got a manicure with gel color for $30, which seems overpriced.  the manicure itself was interesting.  they didn't do the hot towel and lotion massage til after the gel color was done. no neck massage for first time customer.  the place itself seemed clean but again nothing great.  the tv wasn't even on to entertain me. i chose this place because it is close to my job in Hauppauge Industrial area. I went at 11 am to avoid any lunch rush and there was no one there when i got there or when i left a half hour later. Read Less
