We called to make an appointment the night before for 3 pedicures at 10:30am. Only to walk into a completely full salon with only 2 workers. We were then asked to wait 30 minutes AFTER our original appointment time. We were on a strict time schedule. What is the point of making an appointment if you are STILL expected to wait?! I did a call and walk in and the entire experience was really amazing. Through the phone the manager was super helpful. I went in and was helped immediately. Everyone was nice, friendly, thorough. Jen did my nails and I could see she was being careful. I had a hard time deciding what color and she gave her opinion and also helped me with a design because they didn't have the studs I wanted. Went in for a basic manicure, been getting them for years. Because of the color I chose it required multiple coats an hour after getting them done they were smudging. Went back in and it was my fault. Had the technician comuicated with me about my color choice I would've have just picked another color. This is unfortunate I will not be returning. Read Less

I drove all the way from Mocksville to get here. Got there and everything was fine but the manager was quoting me prices and then when I would ask another question the price would go up. They charge for every little thing. The front of the salon says they do acrylic nails but apparently they don't. The manager wanted to argue with me about everything. Was dragging other customers into the argument and just gave horrible customer service. Keep in mind this all happened the day before my wedding! I left there pissed!! They didn't put the acrylic down to the cuticle (after I mentioned it when he was filling them and they said they can't go to the cuticle and it would look better after they filed them- I let it go and trusted it wouldn't be noticeable) AND then the guy that painted my nails didn't paint either side of every damn nail!! I complained when I went to pay and the lady just painted on a third coat!! I went to get a fill and left looking like I never got one!!! Very disappointed, the place is very nice and clean but the quality is not up to par. It's common sense to fill all the way to the cuticle THATS THE PURPOSE OF A FILL!!! Today I brought My 13 year old and 6 year old daughters to have their nails done, as I also decided to get mine done. It's a really nice place. The two gentle men who did my kids nails did a great job. My 6 year old just got her nails painted, they didn't offer any designs. My 13 year old got a full set it was really neat. However, the lady who did my nails didn't do such a good job plus she took forever because she greeted everyone and was a bit rude to patrons who stated they wanted gel nails. She didn't do shape I wanted and truthfully my middle nail is already lifting and I only had set for seven hours. I won't be returning and they may want to work on their customer service. Read Less

I've worn acrylic on my real nails for 15 years. The guy with the ponytail did such a bad job I started fixing them in the parking lot. The happy feet was great, I would only go back for that but I doubt I would ever go back there. He didn't even use the fine sanding piece to clean the edges so it's gonna look terrible as they grow out. Terrible!One of my nail had lifted quite a bit on the side. I asked the tech to file off the loose acrylic and he scoffed at me. I can now see it under the new acrylic and it will become a bubble as the nail grows. I just had my acrylic changed and now I have a bubble because this tech didn't want to do his job.On top of that they charged me $10 extra because of my nail length to just slap acrylic on my nails and call it done. The more I think about it the angrier I become. I will end up having to pay someone else to fix this so I don't end up with fungus under this nail. Read Less

I don't usually go here for my nails, but it looked clean and not terribly busy. I went with someone else we both wanted pedicures and gel nails. They took her first. I waited 45 minutes while 3 or 4 other clients were brought in and taken before me. The pedicure was fine, just seemed to take some time. When it was time for nails, I had gel polish on that bad to be removed. Instead of soaking my nails the tech just started ripping the color off. I had to ask multiple times for her to stop because it hurt so bad. I told her she had to soak my nails and after discussing with one of her coworkers she finally soaked my nails. It took her forever to do my nails and kept messing up and having to redo them. 2 1/2 hours later, my nails look messy and I could have spent my time and money elsewhere. I went here today to have my nails done as it was the only place open in the snow storm. I am new o the area and have been trying all of the different places so I can find my new nail salon. It worked out great that they were the only place open because I have not tried them yet. I get a Gel Manicure and pedicure every 2 weeks which for ladies that get their nails done knows this translate to $50+ and a tip. Today would have been more than double that because I brought my daughter for a pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails and my 2nd daughter was going to get a manicure with polish. When we arrived there were only 2 techs, but with the weather I understood. There was a patron already there and we asked how long it would be as we did not want to be waiting that long. They said other techs were on their way. When we entered the salon they asked what we wanted and we clearly stated what services we wanted. My daughter was home from school and wanted to get pedicures at the same time so we could enjoy the experience. The owner or head person at the salon was telling her she had to have her hands done first. My daughter said she wanted her pedicure done first, the lady argued with her until my daughter almost said she would did not want to get anything done. Finally my daughter was in the chair next to me getting her pedicure and I'm half way through mine and she tells me the price is $5 more for my gel manicure. That I have to pay $5 extra to for the removal of my old gel polish. So its a total of $30. I asked her why she only told me $25 when I came in. she said she didnt know I had gel on when I came in and I showed her my hands, plus ive never paid to have my polish removed before. I would not have stayed or let them begin my pedicure. I would have left and waited. The bottom line she was extremely rude and I only had my pedicure done but did not let them polish my toes as I like my polishes to match and I knew I'd have to go somewhere else. I told her if this was a problem over $5 I would not be returning and she said fine, i didnt have to return. I was going to be spending $110 plus tips today but only allowed them to finish mine and my daughters pedicures and left. I'd never go back here, even if they were the only place open. Never had such a terrible experience ever. I cant say my pedicure was good because I was too annoyed to enjoy it. DONT EVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! there are several other salons like VIP Acrossed the street from them that give provide exceptional service. Read Less

This nail salon is by far the best I've been to. After 14 years of getting my nails done all over the country, I can honestly say that Lily is the only manicurist I will ever go to. I walked in a year ago after trying every salon around Delmar/Glenmont and she promised me that I'd found my place and I'd never want to go anywhere else. She was right. Manicures, acrylics, pedicures....they are always professional, clean and consistent. First, my acrylic nails were done so thick by the husband I could not even scratch an itch, and he cut me with the dremel.  I drove back and the wife fixed them.  They are still thick.  She says, you have pedicure.  So I do, thinking it was complimentary due to having to have my nails done twice.  Nope, after adding services I did not authorize, they demand $40.00.  I do not get pedicures, I only did it thinking it complimentary.  AND to top it off, there was one guy taking care of the pedicure, THEN THE HUSBAND WHO SCREWED UP MY FINGER NAILS INSISTED ON DOING MY TOES!  I was at that point alone in the shop with no female presence.  Freaking creepy.  Like Shana said, charges were added I did not agree to.  If you have an entire night and $$ to spare, sure go for it.  I shudder when I drive by it. I came in with high expectations.   The salon was beautiful and the staff were friendly.  Unfortunately,  the nail artist who helped me was very inexperienced or unskilled.   He put too many layers of polish on my nails and filed them all different lengths.  He told me he could do ombre nails and then just painted them with different tips.  If you cannot do something, don't tell me you can.  He also charged me extra money to cut down my nails when there was no charge listed and he also didn't tell me about the charge.  He acted like the extra charge was a favor because he didnt charge me for a full set, only a fill (because it should have only been a fill).  He seemed not to know how to do a fill, which is why he did a full set.  I should not have to pay for someone's lack of skill.  He also took 3 hours, and I had to wait for my nails to dry twice because he messed up the first coat.  They also tried to just "fix" their mistake rather than redo what was done incorrectly (and argued with me about it).  I would rate this place at a zero if it wasnt in such a pleasant atmosphere. The most wonderful nail place!!! They fixed a totally lousy full set I got the week before at the nearby Walmart Regal. Kim was THE gentlest tech I have ever gone to (and I have been to many over the years). She was very sweet and kind. I have arthritis and she never even gave me one twinge of pain. She hand painted the prettiest flowers complete with silver sparkles. I am so very very pleased!! I will never go anywhere but there from now on!!! Kim is fabulous!!!
