Got SnS done today and she seemed to be in a huge rush and didn't cut my cuticuls. She was on her phone the whole time and when I went to leave I had sns all under my nails so I asked to get it out and he cut me so bad my fingers underneath my nails is bleeding . Amazing salon with an amazing woman. Sara is very professional and knowledgeable about nails and nail art. I always have a pleasant experience here and great conversation. This is a very cute and cozy little salon but more importantly Sara is very professional and nice to boot. There are times you want to rush in somewhere on a tight time frame and get a mani and/or pedi and times you want to go somewhere and sit down with someone who will listen and better yet understands your suggestions. This is the latter and is a boutique type of nail salon where you are offered a coffee or water and asked what you need or want service wise. I was pretty happy with my service and would recommend people give her a try. My only complaint is she didn't have a dryer which I've unfortunately become accustomed too though to my pleasant surprise I left and they were completely dry. Not a smudge. Also those who like to try a lot of different colors might find the selection a little limited but I think that with time she will likely add more. Also you aren't given a massage like you get at other salons while you're nails are drying but I'm ok with that . Read Less

This place may appear to be like any other nail salon around- but it's really in a totally different ballpark! The inside is gorgeous and only high end products and equipment are used. Sara is delightful, knowledgeable, and took a lot of time to make sure I was happy with my nails. I was offered coffee or water, and felt like the experience was more like going to the spa than just a mani. Most nail salons are becoming like factories- in, sit, next chair, neck massage for 10$, out. This wasn't anything close to that- in the very best way! Beauty Bar is definitely worth a try! Very disappointed with the service provided yesterday for my partner. To my knowledge the woman providing the manicure did not follow the correct steps by soaking the nails first; instead, she rushed the service and ended up cutting my partners finger causing it to bleed quite badly. Although they put antiseptic wash on the wound, the woman repeatedly rubbed the cut vigorously with a towel causing it to bleed even more. She then tried to carry on with the manicure cutting aro...und the wound AGAIN but the bleeding was so bad they had to stop. After that one of the male nail technicians tried to help the situation but had no luck. My partner ended up leaving with half buffed nails and a bloody plastered finger. They did try to make amends by charging half price for her pedicure, although she didn't say it at the time; it wasn't the colour she thought it would be. Whether or not this all happened because the woman said she had not had lunch prior or was probably rushing due to the Christmas season (even though only one other person was in there at the time), some changes need to be made and because of the incorrect first aid procedures provided, my partners' finger is now even more susceptible to infection.
