Went in today to get gel polish done. Asked for my nails so be trimmed just a little but and rounded. I now have nubs for nails and little cuts around my nails. I came in with long nails. I also asked for black with gold tips.. I ended up with gold all over . So disappointed. Read Less

Shop was filthy. Person who did my nails was nice enough but didn’t do a good job. Tools were not sterilized. The chairs were ripped and falling apart. The manicure table had grit on it from previous customer. The lights to dry my gel manicure was dirty and sticky. I won’t go back. Read Less

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been in. No sterilization. Salon is filthy. Grit all over the top of station. Dropped utensils used. Customer chairs falling apart and ripped up. Pedicure chairs with dirty towels and pillows on them. Employee eating lunch at one of the stations. Floor filthy. I have my nails don every 2-3 weeks. I am from out of state. This place is horrible. This is NOT what it used to be. It's very dirty! I just got a pedicure today and both of my big toes have heart beats because they pulled ingrown toenails out that didn't exist.  nothing was cleaned in between people. I'm very displeased. We won't be going back! Read Less

Today I went as I have been for about three months now to get my nails filed and of course being as picky as I am I decided to change the color of the tips I had which meant they had to take the old nails off and start over. Unfortunately the woman who started couldn't finish my nails because she had accidently pulled my nail too hard and I had started to bleed. It was taken care of right away and everyone apologized as many times as they could. After she took care of the blo...od she had me go to a different technician to finish my nails. This technician is the one I usually have do my nails so I knew I was in good hands as always. When she saw what had happened she apologized many more times and was as gentle as could be because I had said it was hurting. When my nails had finally gotten finished she told me she was going to give me a discount and that she wanted me to write my name and phone number down on a card so if I had any problems I could call and so that if she needed to check up on how my nails were she could. I always love coming to regal nails. Everyone is so friendly and even though I got hurt today I definitely will be returning due to the fact that everyone was so nice about it and no one had gotten mad that I am a fussy person and just had to get my nails changed, again. I've never had any problems when I get my nails done at regal nails and I plan to continue coming to get my nails done. Thank you all for being so polite and apologetic today. See more Read Less

I absolutely love this place.. I have never had artificial nails put on so it was my first time. Experience was very pleasant. I love vanessa she's gentle and so very nice. I remember coming in for my fill once the process was complete we applied the color I went home and realized I disliked the color. Regal took me in the next day to change the color free of charge.. I have been going there for awhile now and was always satisfied with my service. TODAY WAS A DIFFERENT STORY. I am NEVER going back there again. I usually get the same woman, but today was a different person, younger and very rough with my hands and nails. Yanked my nails off one bleed terrible. Never informed me that the credit card machine was down and when I told her they should have told me first before I received my service, she was short with me and when I handed her cash plus the tip, she slammed the tip back at me on the table. I had a terrible experience there and will never, ever return. I received a full set of acrylic nails when I asked for gel polish, the shop is dirty and run-down looking, service was awful... like really awful. I waited over a half hour for my service while three employees sat around on their cell phones. When I finally got my nails done, the lady used a dirty file and CUT MY CUTICLES with her excessive filing till I was bleeding, and gave no apologies. Disgusting. The end result? The only reason that this is a 2 star review instead of 1 star is because I'm walking out of here with polish on my toes unlike the last place I reviewed.  The salon is dirty, and the polish is sad.  In fact, I picked my color based on what looked the newest, least caked bottle, an unfortunate yellow that sadly makes me look like I am jaundice.  The technician is pleasant, but must have a night job as a dominatrix with the vigor at which she is cutting my toenails.  Along the side of each nail I've been stripped of protection leaving a quite sensitive nail bed exposed.  The massage chair should be named "Jalopy" since it starts and stops at its whim, lurching me into the least relaxing state I can think of.  This place is inside WalMart...  do yourself a favor and just go buy nail polish to put on at home.  DAY AFTER PEDICURE...  OMG, I woke up with the most awful foot and toe pain.  I have raw spots on my foot where she got overzealous with that cheese grater and the toes on my right foot hurt so bad I took Tylenol!  I'm changing this back to one star.  Do not go here. I'm surprised I'm the first review for this salon given how busy it is on a Wednesday morning. I am in town visiting family so I came in for a mani/pedi to get out of the house. I had to wait 30 minutes, which I didn't expect at 11 on a Wednesday, but it wasn't a big deal. This place needs a good cleaning, and an update of their polish selection. I would rate the salon slightly below average for a generic nail salon, although I did not have high expectations given it is in a Walmart. The woman who did my gel manicure was very nice and friendly, but not too friendly, which is what I prefer in a nail tech (c'mon, no one likes the overly friendly, fake, nosey lady). She was not rushing even though there were three people waiting in her which was nice, I absolutely hate it when I feel rushed. I also like that no one suggested that I need my eyebrows or lip waxed. The man that did my pedicure definitely took his time also which was nice. Overall it was a good experience, but this salon definitely needs a good cleaning and an updated polish selection. I would give 4.5 for service 2 stars for cleanliness and such of the salon. Read Less

I took my mom and self to Regal in Geneseo Wal Mart for her very first mani pedi. I was advised to go else where but I like to make my own judgement. The gentleman that took care of my mom was very nice. The young girl that took care of me, let's just say her customer service skills need a lot of help. I advised her of what I wanted and that's where it all went down hill. I needed I nail fixed and just wanted the rest painted. She let me know that she wanted to do a gel service. No, you can do a basic mani. I was then advised that she wanted to do my eyebrows because hers look perfect and mine looked awful. Strike 2. Blowing this mess off I then admired how petit her hands were and was told "she like small and skinny not big like you". I bit my tongue at this point. I was then advised the I could use a pedi. Anyone that knows me also knows that I have a big mouth. For my mom I kept it together. Owe by the way, strike 4. By the time we got home I'm already angry as heck. I look at my moms nails and there was paint chipping away on 4 nails. They looked awful. I am a licensed cosmetologist and was also trained in nail art. Okay, so I know, it's Wal-Mart but for a relatively rural area this place WAS about it for nails. I have taken my Mother there a couple of times and they have been very kind. IF you do chance it, I would recommend that you try to sit with the proprietor as she seems to be the best. Unfortunately, she worked with my Mom only once. And, as someone else noted, this place is not so clean.We will not be returning. In December, there was a guy there who I thought was just hanging around. My Mom said he sat there the whole time, yakking nonstop to her nail tech(not the owner). They were both laughing and carrying on. Not very professional. So this Feb. we stopped by again and turned around, as there he sat again, kinda cocky. Turns out he works there - he started on a pedicure.Basically, this place is just too dirty and too uncomfortable with that gabby boy sitting around. First- I love these nails! I received pink & white acrylics, and I've never had them so even in my life! Also they were done in a timely manner. Downside- waiting to get into a chair one of the manicurist was over my shoulder reading the text I was sending. Also- I have never been asked so many questions about where I've been, how much I paid, where I tan, how many beds--enough! Lastly, I got short nails, but I was charged $5 for length (my nails are about 2 cm long, really?!)- but I did like that I was given an explanation of the total before paying (and I didn't ask for one).
