I visited this location for a Microderm abrasion facial with Georgina. The visit started out okay, the facilities are nice, there's one big changing room. two nice large showers, two large restrooms and a small locker area. I had to switch lockers, after the first one I was given was stuck in the "lock" position, not a big deal. The towel I was given had a lot of hair stuck in the velcro, which was kind of gross, but, forgivable. About 15 minutes into my treatment a fire alarm started to go off, we had to go outside and wait in our robes for the fire department to come and check it out (one of the firemen being my neighbor). I understand this could not be helped, but it was a pretty awful experience, to be in a vulnerable state like that in front of a group of strangers, which I thought we would be compensated for.The rest of the facial went okay-- although I was a little perturbed when the facialist offered me a different type of mask for an upcharge of about $50. I was truly shocked, especially after the inconvenience, that I wasn't offered that for free. When my treatment ended, I was not offered the promised "make up refresher" and I was offered nothing for ordeal, which was terrible. I ended up with a stiff neck after having to go outside in the cold with my skin all wet and I was there about an hour longer than I planned.I eventually got 20% off the total price of my treatment, but it was not offered to me, another couple had to ask management to come out and adjust their price and I piggy-backed off of them and she seemed annoyed by it. A big company with high prices like Red Door, should have had a plan ready to compensate customers, we never should have had to ask for anything. Not to mention, 20% off in this situation is not very much, certainly not enough to make me come back.Very disappointed, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Read Less
