Every time my mother comes in town, our first stop has to be dashing diva! First of all, there is nothing better than walking into a nail salon and being offered a cup of tea. Beyond that, all the associates are so careful with their work, and take pride in making you feel relaxed. Their pedicures, although pricey, are so worth it. I walk out with feet as soft as a  baby's bottom and with perfectly polished toes. Their leg massages bring the snorer out in me, and the owners are a mother-daughter-duo who are sweeter than pie. I am impressed! I've been bouncing around trying to find a nail salon I felt comfortable with that was within my budget and I think I finally found it. I called this afternoon to make an appointment for this evening for a gel fill. They were very nice and accommodating on the phone... I arrived early and Agatha was so nice! I was greeted with a smile and given color options (which were so nicely organized in book-like boxes). Nicole did my nails - and they came out perfectly! She was quick and efficient and spoke with me the entire time making sure I was happy with what she was doing. This place is definitely different and a well-oiled ship but make sure you arrive to your appointment on time! We made 10am appts and arrived at 10:08am not realizing it would be a big deal. We were semi-rushed to choose colors, then later on when our nails were drying. The owner did it politely, but we got the message. The experience was good. Like other reviewers said, mani/pedi cost $50 and you get services like choice of coffee/tea/water, choice of essential oils when you get the short massage, bakery cookies when nails are drying, toeless socks to keep your feet warm while you get your nails painted and the nail filer to bring home (my girl forgot to give me mine though).Those extra services are nice but other than that, the girl that did my nails was just OK. She cut my big toe cuticles so deep that they probably won't be back until 2019. She was also a bit messy because she left polish on my hand in random places. Another girl came and cleaned it for me without me asking which was nice. Will be back next time I need some pampering! Read Less

I've been coming to dashing diva for about a year and a half and they are amazing!  Everyone is super friendly and sincere and so eager to help you!  Every technician I've had is honest about my color choices- if the color is too sheer, they will help me choose something to get the high impact of color and the desired look I want. I took my mom for a mani/pedi, and we fully enjoyed the experience. This salon gives good service. The extra touches and fragrances are quite pleasant. They also do a good job of cleaning your nails and cuticles. Trust they're good. I hope the servicecontinues. Read Less

I waited a few days to write my review because I wanted to see how my nails held up.  Let me tell you, they're still perfect!  Lorena did my manicure and it was by far, one of the best manicures I've had!  She made sure she got every inch of my nail when she put the polish on... perfection. $15 for a manicure is a little steep but it was worth it.  I will definitely be returning!! Pedicure was done nicely, but they do not supply foot jacuzzi plastic disposable liners as most shops do!!!!Manicure was about to start with the tools that she used on my feet and I had to ask for clean sterile tools. Then the manicurist requested a new bottle of my polish for my manicure. There is no doubt in my mind that the owner watered the old polish with some kind of thinner BECAUSE by that evening my manicured hand nail polish was washing away in the shower and by Thanksgiving morning my fingernails had large gaps of color missing. I had to repaint over the mess and whatever was beneath my color is still causing washing away of color. SO DISSATIFIED and WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!!! Read Less

Nice atmosphere, everyone is very friendly and you get treated very well, but you pay for that kind of service. This is an expensive nail salon, but if you can afford it, it's worth it. They do a very nice job, use disposable files and give you water, use essential oils for your hand/ foot massage and it usually lasts a long time. I've been coming here for over a year and refuse to go anywhere else. Always clean and staff is always friendly. Every customer gets a brand new filer, buffer, etc. Prices are on par with the area and they offer different manicure & pedicure packages. Appointments recommended as they are usually busy.Read Less

For starters the appointment was made for 5-5.30 at my house (part of a bridal package deal) and they arrived at 6.30! I had bridesmaids from 1.5 hours away down for this. I also asked them on the phone when booking if we could have patterns/art on our nails which we were told yes. They arrived with no stencils etc so everything was freehand or couldn't be done. Very frustrating. The work they did on our nails left a lot to be desired. My mum had only shellac and top coat wa...s forgotten on a few nails, and the next morning one nail coating was peeling at the sides. My sisters gel nails were so short she might as well of not had gels. What a waste of money. One of my bridesmaids had a full set of gel nails and one of the nails fell off that night when she was getting changed. My full set of gels are lumpy and you can feel how uneven the gel was applied. I also asked for writing on my ring fingers. One was so bad my now husband didn't even know what it said. It was meant to say "I do". My bridesmaids and I weren't happy with our nails at all. Spent several years at another location only to leave because of continued dissatisfaction. Tried the Garden City location and was delighted. Agatha and Raquel are the best. I recently moved to the area from Brooklyn...and I love my manicurist...but traveling back was getting more and more difficult...I looked for some place new...and had one of the worst manicure and pedicure ...and I'm in the spa business.... at a neighborhood place....I looked on yelp and found dashing diva ..and went there immediately after !they couldn't take me on a Sunday evening...but I made an appointment first thing Monday morning...during a snow storm! I went for a quick nail repair and they were very prompt and courteous. They tried to accommodate my nail gel color to rhe best of their ability snce they did not have the color I had. They even went to the extent of painting my nails to match the color gel I selected that didn't match. Which was nice as they could of easily said I selected the color.
