This nail salon is ok now. Its gotten better over the years. Before I would have given it a 1 star because they would rush on their pedicures. I time I had timed them and it took the lady 7 minutes to do my feet. I hated my nails they looked like they were two sizes to big once they put the full set on. sadly after that day i never returned for years. Fast forward to now better. I started going to oasis nails nails when I was 14, which was even before the current owners were around. I use to get pedis and fill-ins/Tips. My usual main issue with the place was their lack of color options and they were not really up to date with new trends in the nail industry. I recall them charging me $1 for ever little stone I wanted on my nails. 10 year of being a loyal customer through the good and the bad when I had the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. As I was getting a pedicure, the unlicensed tech cut too deep into my nail and I bled profusely. I was in so much pain, she had gone in too deep.  I stopped the pedicure and wanted to leave, but on m way out the owner (who has known me and seen me bi-weekly for years) stops me and charged me full price for a half done pedi. A couple of days later, I realized I had an infection on my toe from the cut, and informed the nail salon. They didn't seem one bit concerned.  I then went to their wall where their certificates stand and realized about half their workers weren't certified, then I took the extra step and contacted the health department and started an investigation on the place. It has now been over three years since I've been here and I don't plan on going back. Horrible customer service and no loyalty to their loyal customers.  Customer service should be #1 for every business. Oasis nail salon doesn't deserve any stars. I would not recommend it. Each and every experience has been bad. The manager or owner a man doesn't know how to treat the customers, yet alone his employees. Never go for a,wax job, because they have no clue. I broke two nails after 3 days while I was opening a cabinet!! The top of my nails just popped right off it didn't hurt I'm guessing they use cheap acrylic. When I went to get it fixed and telling her what happened I was told it was $8 because I should know what comes with acrylic nails and I'm responsible the minute my nails are done. I just left because I wasn't going to go back and forth with her. Even after a week I'd understand or if I had been lifting or cleaning. I came here on a sister date with my significant other's sister and we had a good experience. The place is clean and big. They need more choices in colors but they have a sufficient amount. The massage chairs while you get a pedicure are so amazing. They give a really good pedicure I just wish they scrubbed my heels a little more. Cindy I believe her name was did a really good fill in but they charged me $2 extra to cut my tips which I thought was nonsense. Its part of the fill in! However, other than that they were pretty fast and did a good job. They were a little pricey for Freeport but it was sufficient. Would i return? Maybe if Im Freeport and I have no other place to go. Oasis used to be my #1 go-to nail salon because the staff was always really efficient and did the best job on my nails & eyebrows hands down. But my last visit here was horrible & it's the reason why I haven't been there in over a year. I was the last patient of the night & after my nails were finished I was told to ''dry outside'' and the nail tech actually picked up my belongings and put them by the door. I lived in Freeport 10  years ago but have been living in Chicago.  I frequented (now closed) Ruby Nails when I lived here & stopped by whenever I was in town.  I'm in town for a wedding & needed a pedicure.  After seeing that Ruby is now closed, I drove in search of a salon. When I walked in, I was greeted & directed to pick my color.  There aren't many colors to choose from.  They have plenty of Essie colors but there aren't 100s to choose from.  Fortunately, I was able to match a polish to my nails. I sat in the chair & my pedicure began.  Issue: 1) They don't place towels underneath your feet.  They use a paper towel instead.  This isn't comfortable but I don't hold this against the nail tech.2) The towel used to dry my feet left white lint on my legs.  While my feet dried, a man offered me a free 5 minute massage. OH MY GOSH!  It was so good.  Sooo good.  He got all the right spots.I liked my experience, I'll be back. Read Less

I'm on the fence here.  I'm not a fan of nail salons on Long Island.  I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years and have been to many throughout NY.  This place is pricey.  Fill in (gel mani) and reg. pedi $68.00. Lately,  I've noticed, on the 2nd day, my gel will chip at the tip of the nail. My manicurists always fixes it,  but I shouldn't have to go back the next day. On a positive note,  my nails look great lol.  But,  between the price and the polish chipping,  it's time to start going back to Queens to get them done. Read Less

This place used to be my favorite go-to nail salon and now it's become one of my LEAST favorite. I came in at maybe 6 & asked do they have time for a fill in & eye brows ( I knew they were about to close, but I did ask & was told that they could fit me in) so I sat down & they did my nails and eyebrows perfectly, but as I sat at the dryers I saw everyone packing up to leave. I had JUST sat down. And as I'm trying to spray my nails with the quick dry spray, my nail tech comes over to me and says "let's go, you have to get out" and then continued on to tell me to "dry outside". I almost LOST IT- I've never felt so disrespected in my entire life. Read Less

First Timer, and I truly enjoyed myself! The staff was very friendly and no wait whatsoever! Had a spa pedicure and  regular manicure. Felt Amazing after being long overdue. Had  a relaxing evening with a massage on my feet,legs,hands and back. I will make this my go to place for now on! Its a very large facility, open space, well maintained, the staff speak English/Spanish/Vietnamese, it's easy to find and no wait. Perfect for a girls day. Read Less

This place is magnificent. Me and my mom just did our mani and pedi there few mins ago and it was amazing. We didn't want to go to the usual close by ghetto place we usually go and was looking for somewhere else and found this nearby close place. Wasn't busy since it was a Sunday evening. We came at the rite time during a special called lady special mani and pedi $21. So we did that and the massage chairs aren't too comfortable but it does it job. When they soak your feet it's amazing the massages they do imagine if I asked for the massage pedicure or even manicure cause there massages on our hand and feet was amazing. They do your hands the same time your feet is being done to expedite time. When your done you go dry your hands and they give you a massage. Quick massage while drying your hands and feet took approximately 2-3 mins. There prices are not bad. And they have massages there as well.
