I came in to Enjoy Nail & Spa III on February 21st, 2018 on a recommendation of a co-worker. It was close to 12pm so there were not too many people in the salon. I asked for an acrylic fill-in and gel. The cost for the fill-in is $30 plus the gel is $15. I was also charged $5 to fix a broken nail and $5 to shape my nails. My total was $55 not including tip. Fast forward 2 days later the gel began coming off on its own. Today is February 27th, 2018 and almost half of my nails have the gel chipped off of them. I decided to return and have them fix it. I came in at 6pm today. I was told to sit and wait a few minutes. A girl came over and looked at my nails and said it would be $15 to get them re-polished. I then explained to her it has not been 1 week since I had done them. She went back and forth with the owner of the salon which then told me at that point I do not have to pay. They made me feel as if I had purposely chipped off the polish myself. I did not appreciate the attitude or rudeness I was being given so I ended up leaving. I will not be returning. Read Less

I just started coming here because my friend introduced me to this location. And let me tell you .. 2 big reasons why this spot sold me. They close at 9pm (I get out from work at 5-6 in the city) and they do these unique designs that I just had to try something new. Now I know that every nail salon has something different but in my personal opinion, they have more of a variety in nail colors, nail color scheme and designs. I wanted to get my birthday nails done so at first I was leaning towards the chrome but after looking thru their photos I opted for the galaxy nails. My nail technician was Sherry and she did a PHENOMENAL job. She was very intricate in her designs that she even put the planet Saturn on my finger .. and its perfect ! I'm from San Francisco and travel to New York and found this place on yelp. Their pictures which attracted to me the most and I decided to give a try. The place doesn't looks fresh and clean for me, their pedicure is $20 and for gel manicure is 25? Ok, let's talk about the pedicure! The lady get her clipper and tools from no where and the file is been used. The foot scrub is disgusting and used! The polish looks nice but when you checked, the polish not paint it full nails! Worst experience ever had! The gel manicure charge me $45 with two fingers design, they never use cuticles softener before cutting your cuticles which pushed so roughly and cut some cuticles. The Polish couldn't push all the way to the top and not Smooth when it's done. The design looks ok but except the one is not DRY!!!!!!!!!! Now it's peeling off!!!!! I come here about once a month to get my nails done and for a new change in color gel. They're pretty consistent on service and their work on nails. Would be 5 stars but my last experience is where there the star is deducted. I came in for my usual gel manicure and regular pedicure. When entering, I told the girl what I'm in for already. When you're doing gel mani and regular pedi, they would do pedis first and the mani after so they can buy time to wrap the gel nails for removal.Pedis are good here, they're thorough and good. Mani's depending on the person, if you have intricate detail designs, only certain people can meet expectations and others that aren't good in detail design can be a hit or miss.I recommend finding your go to person if you want special designs. Otherwise if you're doing something simple with not design, anyone is good.So the last time I came here, I arrived before this other person but she was done before me. I mention regular pedi and gel mani but somehow this missed hearing me say gel mani. When my pedi was almost done, I asked if anyone was going to help me remove my gel mani and they didn't know I needed removal so I was disappointed from my last visit. Read Less

I've been here on three occasions to get a gel mani and a regular pedi. Each time I called to make an appointment and came at various times through out the day. They're never super busy as there's always a few employees not working on a client. For the most part, they can speak and understand enough English (about nails), but that's about it. I've never really had a problem with communication though and I've had a different person on each visit. They take the time to shape my nails and cut my cuticles/dead skin, and always ask if I'm pleased with the progression of it!They charge $25 for a gel mani and $20 for a regular pedi, which is pretty good in my opinion. You're not going to get the most zen and relaxing experience, but you get a mini hand massage after your mani and leg massage after your pedi. I chose to get my nails done here because they accept credit card, which is a rarity in Flushing. They charge a "tax" fee but its never really that much, always less than $2 for every $25. Read Less

I just moved to Queens and have been (unsuccessfully) looking for a new nail place for a while now. Enjoy got good reviews so I gave it a try! I called and spoke to the manager since it was so close to closing time. She was professional and patient with me; parking was horrendous and she helped me find parking at a reasonable price (4$ for 2 hours on 37th st) over the phone! This place was clean and had a friendly aura. They stayed way past closing and gave me and my friend the best gel manicures we've had in Queens so far. This review is for the eyelash extensions only. I wanted to cry after my horrible experience here! Where do I even begin? First of all the lady that did my eyelashes didn't even wash her hands and was touching my face and eyes with dirty smelly cigarette hands. I had to politely ask her to wash her hands because I couldn't stand it anymore. I'm very sensitive to smell and my skin is sensitive too. Why wouldn't they wash their hands before touching and working on someone's eyes for more than an hour?! So aside from not being sanitary, the girl CUT my natural lashes too!!! I felt the scissors so close to my lids and asked her if she was cutting them and she said yes!! WTF?!!! But I had no choice but to let her continue because I didn't want to walk away with uneven and cut up lashes . So after she was done, my eyes couldn't even open all the way because there was glue stuck on them!! WTF and she was seriously finished with her work and was like ok your done . But my eyes were glued in three different places and GLUE was still present and visible on the top of my eyelid in black marks, how could she miss it?! I don't know what chemicals they use but I am pretty sure I smelled acetone... near my eyes!! And on top of all this.... the lashes weren't even EVEN!!! She put long lashes on the inner rim of the eye, and in the middle so it looks completely off and she blamed it on "that's how your lashes flow naturally" WTF. I asked her to remove the two long lashes closer to the nose and she couldn't even do it so I had to wait until I got home to cut it off. I am SO mad! And they don't even use quality products, it is not individual lashes but one with two or three coming out of one, and they say it's mink but it wasn't that either. Usually I enjoy rating places but not this one unfortunately. The staff was very cold and pushy when it came to customers. My friend and I were treated like pre schoolers. They were not friendly at all in fact they seemed to give us cold shoulders. To top it all of my friend was robbed. Yes robbed by a customer who was sitting on the brown couch. It was a man to sneaked into her coat that she out on the coat rack which was placed conveniently next to the door and in front of the front desk. Somehow none of the several employees that were there saw anything. We also had to pay and were not even given a courtesy gift card or anything for our horrid experience. Review for mani/pedi only.I was unaware that there were 3 branches, 2 in Flushing and 1 in Fresh Meadows until I saw their business card. I went to this branch in the New World Mall and enjoyed my experience. My manicurist was pretty quick to the point and very customer oriented. Each one differs in their methods, so just be wary of what you're missing out on. For example, I got a foot scrub, but my friend didn't. And then later, she got a hand massage and I nothing. We both still paid about $28, and it didn't really make a big difference.From what I could see, there were/are no specials for a mani/pedi. What I will give props for, though, is how the receptionist is wary of how dry your nails are. Like when my friend and I were about to leave, she stopped us and said, "Five more minutes." Listen, if I'm not being rushed out of a nail salon, I already like the place!Just an FYI - there is no restroom there, even though you are deceived when they tell you to wash your hands in the sink before your manicure. I used to go to the Enjoy Nail & Spa I, which is right next door (2nd fl in the New World Mall) but since this 3rd location (with good reviews and pics) just opened up not too long ago, I decided to take my friend here to give it a try. Mind you, if you go in the morning right when they open, there's only 1 or 2 staff available and they may or may not be proficient at what you want/ what they do. Not to mention, the language barrier between me and the staff because they barely speak English. Luckily, I was able to understand what they were saying and my friend spoke their language and translated for me. Even so, they were still confused at what we wanted while we showed them a pic from their page. I also noticed there's no price list anywhere or description of their services in the salon so you're kind of flying blind while they can basically make up whatever price they want. They do however, give you a breakdown on approximately how much it will cost but final price will be revealed at the end when you're done. What their charging is definitely overpriced and it's not one of those "you get what you paid for" nor well known salons, this is a chain in Flushing. Nail salons in Flushing are a dime in a dozen. $60 for a full set of acrylic tips (normally it's around $35-$40), additional $40-$50 for gel and designs are per finger, 2 for $5. So 3 hours later, our nails were finally done and it was time to pay...it was about $200 for the both of us, which is overpriced but it's fine since the nails came out pretty decent and my friend liked it even though mine were not so good looking, bumpy and smeared...What got me angry was, my friend handed her nail tech, Lisa a tip and the tech had the nerves to say to my friend (in her language), "you are required to leave a 20% tip" so this is not enough (handed my friend back the bills) and made her tip $20...is this right? Also, I found out this place charged me double what they charge at the first location I used to go to. Honestly, we felt that the service was horrible from beginning to end with disorganized and condescending staff. We waited 30 minutes for no reason while they were making phone calls and washing the towels, no water was offered to us (but to other customers), my friend's nail tech nicked her cuticles twice and I'm not even going to start with my nail tech, she's clueless. This monring (Friday), I wake up both my last finger black dot was gone, the right hand side second finger have the same problem also, corner of the black dot came out.
