I recently moved to the area and searched for a nearby hair salon. Dazzles completely surpassed my expectations in all ways so far: their hours are excellent, range of services offered and prices are fully worth the individualized attention to detail you will receive. If they had no one who could take time to properly do the hair, I would have come the next day...they did a hatch job on my hair. They knew it too. Cut my hair in 10 mins without layers as I repeatedly requested. This is not the first time either. I will not be returning again. I have to wait for my hair to grow out to get it cut properly again and till then I will be reminded of my blunder of going to them whenever I look n mirror....I recommend not going unless you already know someone there. I went in for a massage to relieve some tension I was very impressed.  Maryellen is excellent and very personable.  She makes sure you feel very comfortable and relaxed.  I went in with a pulled muscle in my neck and I left feeling amazing.  I would recommend her to anyone.  You will be very relaxed when you leave so I recommend going towards the end of your day. I had a great experience here on Saturday!  iI have been going to the same hair salon for years and was really hesitant to break up with my hair girl...but we just weren't on the same page anymore.After she didn't text me to fix my hair to the way I wanted it last week, I called Dazzles on Saturday. They were able to fit me in. I got Corinda to highlight my hair. I was a redhead. I am transitioning to being a brunette, my natural color which I had to be colored back to a few monts ago, with heavy honey and light blonde highlights. I was in town for a friend's wedding and was incredibly grateful to have been able to book a last minute appt to get my hair done (I evidently called just after someone else had to cancel). I showed a few pics of what I had in mind (braid with some hair down and wavy), and the stylist got it spot on... it was perfect. Just what I was hoping for. She was very friendly and a good listener. Later as I checked out, I received help with product information that I was asking about - and was notified of a special they were having. I went in for a gel manicure which came out descent but two days later had to take it off too see why I had so much pain on one of my nails. Turned out I had an infection under a nail. I called to speak to someone about it and all they could say was how they use hospital grade sterilization. Read Less

I made appointments weeks in advance for myself and for my bridal party. Manicures and pedicures for all girls. Everything was going good until my sister was told she was not getting her nails done because there wasn't enough time for her and the next appointment was there. We had an appointment for her and she was bumped for another client. My sister was upset, understandably, because her current polish was orange. She insisted on a polish change at the very least. She wanted a full set that she was being charged $70 for. She settled for a polish change. When it came time to pay the bill my mother told the salon she was unhappy with the services. They were supposed to discount us but in the end they charged my mother and my sister both for shellac manicures when they only had polish changes. My mother got sick of arguing and just paid the bill so we wouldn't be late for dinner. On top of that, my nail tech cut my skin on two of my toes with a file. Ouch! Came in for a blow out, ended up with a mani & pedi and make up done by Maria.  She was Amazing!! Spent the day there- they worked with my time schedule so i had enough time to returned to the hotel to get ready for a wedding. Everyone was so kind and wonderful. What a horrible experience! Went in for a half head of foil and they only did the top of my hair. I looked like I had a wig on top of my head! She chopped the top of my hair in the back so bad it looked like I was wearing a wig! When I told the owner she said "look at the menu, that's how we do foils here and if you want more you have to pay another $20"! After arguing for 10 minutes she decided to call back and said she would redo what a mistake that was! I had multicolored... highlights (some appearing green) . I had to actually go on vacation looking like that ! When I got back I went to Rodger at Locks that Rock and he did a fabulous job fixing my hair, refoiling the whole thing and conditioning my very damaged hair! Thank God for him but the fact that I'm out $170 from Dazzles plus what I had to pay to get it fixed is incredible! Very poor policies. Never going back and would never recommend! Ver más Read Less

Came here at the last minute to relieve some tension, and got a much needed massage.  Mind you my experience with massages are usually the Asian shiatsu massages where they stand on your back. I've been coming to this Salon for years for my hair. Patty (now retired), was great! Loved her! Wish she was still there. I have very thick, long, curly hair - enough hair for two heads, as I've been told by various stylist since I was a child. They have all types of great products to do anything to your hair, especially this wild mane of mine. I love that this salon is multi-purpose. I've done massages (great), body waxing (great), a few other treatments (wonderful) (go on their website to check out their extensive menu). There's even various hair and makeup products you can purchase from them. Seems like your all-in-one stop shop. I love that ANYTHING you do at that salon, they keep record of in their computer system, down to hair color codes and your favorite stylist name, your hair/skin type, name, info, everything. Makes it easy for your next visit, and eliminates the guessing games. Now the four stars: A day Patty was off I was assigned to another stylist and she seemed a bit rude to myself and my friend that accompanied me.  Almost prompted me to get up and walk out. I figured,  I've been going there for so long, and she wasn't my regular, so I'll just cut off any conversation with her and deal with it that one day. Maybe because I was so accustomed to Patty for so many years, when she retired, I was assigned to another stylist. She did great hair, but made the sit down feel long and weird. She didn't seem as friendly as Patty, but not rude. The rest of the staff are lovely. Also, (no affect on me, so therfore, no reflection on my rating, but feel the need to mention), I took another friend there to get her nails done and eyebrows waxed, as I had my hair done...her nails appeared to look great, but her eyebrows! Let's just say I had to take her to another salon so they can fix and reshape them. Overall, this place is great, they keep it clean, bathroom is clean. They have a coffee/water, and treats station - while you wait. If the Fishkill location is booked on any day - they offer services at their Wappingers Falls outpost location (if you don't mind changing stylists). I've been there as well as a maid of honor for a wedding. All females in the wedding party were there and they made us beautiful with the hairstyling and makeup! I've never had such a horrible experience in my whole life. My girlfriend and I were in town for a wedding. We made appointments there because all the reviews sounded great. I was terrified from the moment I walked in. It's very outdated and reminded me of my high school hair dressing shop. I showed the woman a simple picture of a half up half down design. I know better than to expect it to look identical but it should be close. I was a horrible frizz ball from the 80's by th...e time she was done. Then the make up ugh. First of all it smelled horrible. Second of all the girl put so much eye liner on my eye I looked like I got punched. My friends experience was horrible as well. When we left we had 1 hour before the wedding so we rushed to our hotel washed everything out and redid it all. Thanks for a horrible and stressful experience I will never forget. Ver más Read Less
