I did not enjoy my mani pedi at this place. It is overpriced for what you get. The guy who did my pedi was very rough. Also he had to redo my nails twice. The first time I was there and they were messed up and had to be fixed. The next time I had only been gone for an hour and I had to go back because the Polish kept bunching up. I would not choose to go here again. I wouldn't have cared so much normally but it was the night of my high school reunion and not only did they not do a great job but they made me late because I had to go back to get my nails fixed. Went for a polish change and they wanted to charge me 5$ to cut my nails. Have done polish changes at many other places- have never heard of this. This is the kind of place that nickel and dimes you for every single thing. Not only did they want to charge me but every single employee looked at me like I had 3 heads. I went last Sunday during football. The only place in the area by my Sons area that was open on a Sunday. I had a very lovely young woman who did a great job. I was offered a massage and now wish I had not declined. This is a very clean shop, you can see their credentials and names behind hem. So much for not being legal. Have been here twice for pedicure and gel nails.  First time I had a young lady do my pedicure and nails.  She was wonderful.  The second time I went I started out with her and one of the men moved her to another woman and he finished by pedicure and did my gel nails.  He was rude.  Instead of asking me to put my foot back in the water, he pushed my foot toward the water.  I got the message, but he could have either done it gently or tried telling me what he wanted me to do.  The gel manicure was much the same.  Every time he wanted me to move my hand, he would push it.  At the end, they usually give a short massage at the drying table;  never happened.  He took my money and hurried me out like I was cattle.  For my $50 (plus tip), I left feeling like I had been an imposition.  Don't think I'll be back. Made an appointment for an acrylic fill with gel polish. I asked for white tips that were faded/ombre and offered a picture of what I wanted. There must have been a communication barrier because he did not understand what I wanted (even with the picture). In the end I just let him do what he wanted because I didn't know how else to explain it. The white tips he did were crooked and bumpy. I showed him and he didn't see anything wrong with the nails. I don't know about nails but if you're going to get your eyebrows done do not go here. They made my eyebrows look so far apart and small. Even worse, they burnt me. Around my eyebrow is burnt and stinging. This has never happened to me anywhere else. Read Less

I've past this place one million times and regret not going in sooner. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Open, light and very big inside. I was seen promptly by appointment, not sure how it is for walk-ins. My nail artist took her time to file and buff my nails and work my cuticles which I appreciated because it had been a while since I received a manicure. Also while she was working, a man came around to give everyone a complimentary shoulder and back massage. It felt amazing! My one reason for not giving this place a full 5 stars was while I enjoyed my artist, some of my nails were filed crooked. The paint itself was applied very nicely with no mistakes but when I asked for a design on my two of my nails she seemed confused. I showed her which one I wanted and I'm not sure if she's done it before. She had to wipe off and re-start the design several times. Eventually a manager (?) came over to watch and guide her through. Ruby is really the only place I ever want to go to again. My daughter (she's 7) and I went today for her first pedicure and I've been here many times. It is heavily staffed, clean, friendly and relaxing. You get a hot stone massage as part of the pedicure for free AND a free neck massage while you are drying your nails! I mean come on. GO. HERE. Can't say enough about this clean and well lit place! Amazing pedicure and a gel mani that lasted more than 3 weeks. The basic pedicure comes with a massage that blew me away and took so much fatigue from my calves! Everyone is nice, professional and there's seldom a wait due to excellent staffing. Wow. I just had the best gel manicure I think I've ever had. I live over five hours away, and my nails were a wreck. I found a lot of positive reviews on here and decided to get a fill done. I showed up late on a Sunday afternoon with my 3 year old daughter. They were very busy but said they could get us in. My daughter and I both got manicures. They were very good with her. Just moved to the area and relied on Yelp to find me a reasonable salon nearby. This is a fantastic nail salon. I got a regular mani pedi, with a massage while my nails dried, for only $35! Salon is very clean, and VERY busy. I'll definitely be back. I think the gel mani pedi was only $50.. But they don't have prices posted. I will never go to another nail salon. I rarely get my nails done but when I do I always end up regretting it because of the unnatural look to them. These people are the friendliest group of people ever! Welcoming from the second you walk in and get you in as quick as they can even it is packed in there (which it is quite often). I won't go to any another nail salon! They are the best. My nails always look so natural. However; if you are looking for acrylic nails, they don't do that. They do however do "tip sets" which is similar to acrylic but gel powder is used instead. And also UV gel nails. I have done both, and love both. The tip sets look way more natural than acrylics do. And so do the UV gel set. For the past year, I've had on my UV gel nails. They are more expensive, but well worth it. I get compliments every where I go. All of my coworkers decided to check out ruby nails and are in love too. They drive over every 2 weeks from Greece! Plus while your nails are drying, they give you a nice little massage. Read Less

Ruby Nails is my favorite nail salon in Fairport.  $50 will get you a gel manicure and a spa pedicure.  Most of the nail technicians do a GREAT job do.  The equipment is clean and appears to be well-kept too! Read Less
