Well I won’t be going back that’s for sure. After tolerating many layers of skin being filed off around my nails I didn’t even get to say it was worth it because my nails looked great because they didn’t. Bubbles, uneven color and filing scratches still evident on the nail. I asked 3 times for him to cut them a little shorter but gave up when it was obvious he didn’t understand what I was I was saying. Tried to explain why I was unhappy with the work but again he couldn’t understand me.he asked a co worker what I had said so I repeated myself to him but all I got was “come back in a couple days” now why would I put myself through that again? Me and my friend went yesterday because the place we usually went to wasn’t doing the best anymore. So we decided to look this place up and with sooo many 5 star reviews we picked nails r us and left sooo happy. The atmosphere in this place is incredible. They make you laugh, they talk to you the whole time, everyone is so friendly and nice! They keep making sure you love your nails before you leave. This was the very first time I got my nails done and it was pretty good experience my boyfriend surprise me with going to this place. I think I’m going to go here again to get my nails done. Fun atmosphere , everyone very friendly . Had the powder done on my nails , Tim did great , definitely the way to go . Had a pedicure from a tech in training - he did great and they all came over to check his work to be sure it was spot on . Would definitely recommend . Like to to add on : today I had the powder nails taken off . I left the salon with my nails a mess . They are bumpy and rough and still have polish on . I dont understand why there are some negative reviews on this Nail salon. You should have call first and see what the owners can do. Very disappointed First of all, I’ve heard amazing things about nails r us, but I’ve heard that certain nail technicians are better than others. Aside from this I went to nails r us and had a very different experience. Walking in, they post their prices on a board: a gel manicure was posted as $28. I asked for a light grey color and showed a picture of a nail look that I found online that had grey nails with gold in a half moon design. Straight up the technician told me that to put the gold on my nails I would have to pay $5 more dollars, to which i obliged. Anyways the color is perfect however the technician just smeared glitter sloppily across my cuticles, filed 4/10 of my nails at a clear slant and the day after it started chipping because he painted over my cuticles. On top of that I was expecting to pay about $30 (the original $28+$5 for the gal moon thing) and the guy charged me $38 dollars!!! I’ve attached a photo in the gallery of my nails literally 4 days after I got them done. The only thing we liked about the salon was Billy because he was friendly and entertaining! Being new to the area, I was so excited to find a place close to me with an awesome review. I booked an appointment for a manicure and pedicure for Christmas, and am so so disappointed. After over two hours, I left with bleeding nicks on every single one of my fingers and 2 of my toes. The dip that I was told would be fast and look great took over an hour and a half to complete and is bumpy, uneven and missing in spots and the design I asked for ended up being covered with lumpy gel polish that has 0 shine. I would have said something, but my fingers were so sore, and It had already took so long to complete that I decided to cut my loses and go home.A day later my fingers are sore and infected. The owner has tried to reach me to fix the problem but there is no way anyone there is going near my hands again. Read Less

My normal nail salon closed, & I’ve had a bad experience with pretty much everyone else in Broome county so I decided to try nails r us even though I’m super picky, they were amazing. They made me feel welcomed, they made sure I was happy with my nails & they’re shockingly fast with such a nice end product. Very pleased with my new fav nail place. Read Less

This was my first time visiting this nail salon and I have one HUGE regret - I regret not having taken any "before" pictures! I'm sitting here in complete awe over how awesome my nails look now (I thought they were nice before - but they were actually HORRID!) They're truly beautiful now! Each one is the same length and they're the most beautiful shape that I've ever seen! My daughter-in-law and I traveled from Greene and it was well worth the drive! From the moment I walked I had good vibes about this place. It’s interior is modern and well kept, and when I walked in everyone looked up and acknowledged me! I made an appointment for 11:45 and was called within five minutes of me being there. The owner, Tim, gave me amazing nails and he was so friendly and made sure I liked my nails every step of the way! Even the other nail techs made conversation with me while I was sitting there! Tim and Katie run a beautiful salon! I won't go anywhere else anymore. Very clean and fun atmosphere. I am always greeted by name and they really pride themselves in making the customer happy. Nails r us is the best salon in the area for sure. The first time I went I received the best experience, they took their time with me and made conversation too, I got a full set of acrylics done and I loved how even, neat, and clean they came out. I also got a pedicure done and the older gentlemen doing it was very pleasant and funny! I loved my experience here so much I came back for my wedding nails and brought my bridal party with me too. i love nails r us... tim fixed my nails that were thick and bumpy to smooth and natural looking... they literally have the best pedicure chairs ever!!! and the staff there are very personable and excellent at what they do :) they are a little out of my way but definitely worth the extra drive :) Read Less

Kind, considerate, clean, relaxing and well priced!  They spent a considerable amount of time on our pedicures and the massage chairs we're an added bonus. I love absolutely everything about the experience! I don't get my nails done hardly at all and the girl who did my nails was absolutely fantastic. She was really sweet and nice even got a hand massage out of the deal! (which I've never had before but I highly recommend everybody on the planet to have one.) The only thing (which is my own fault because I don't get my nails done and I don't know the terminology) I wanted my nails made longer underneath my gel nail manicure so my nails didn't look so nubby which is what I thought I was going to get but they're gorgeous just the same I would recommend anybody to come here the staff is friendly and personable and they did a really good job!
