I figured I would try this place out for the first time when I walked in my first reaction was wow this place smells like poo but whatever so i asked sara to do my nails bc i had an appointment and as she’s doing my nails i see juan ramming julio in the back and i see a few others sniffing each other’s anus’s . I would say i passed out around the third nail and when i awoke i was in texas! I had missing clothes and half hand done with a bill for a plane ticket and a manicure hmmm very interesting idk how i ended up here and how i’m getting home! I’ve been going here since they opened.... I’ve been a loyal customer and tipped well, I even brought my friends and family into this business but in the past 6 months they have declined drastically, the workers have gotten arrogant and their craftsmanship and quality has declined. If you do choose to go here in 2018 only ask for the male workers, they will do the best job there. The waits are insanely long for such a big salon, they’ll skip out on services if they are rushed, like no complimentary back massage or no hot towel etc. I always get the spa pedicure and gel manicure, costs me about 80$ but depending on who is behind the registers it’ll be 60$ very confusing and I’ve caught on !!! Don’t go here there’s so many better NICER places in the area, graces is accross the street and much more relaxing than this establishment where the women are yelling and cutting corners out of laziness. I have been there at least five times (all pedicures) and have loved the whole experience! The very first time, I was given a heated neck cushion, offered hot tea, great foot massage and friendly conversation with employees. After pedicure you get a 10 minute massage or facial that is included with your pedicure (only if you select from one of the $65 options). I’ve always had a back massage and loved it! Paul is my go to for massages! The second time there I had a facial done- bad move! If you’ve had a facial or two in your life, you will understand how poorly they do it! They didn’t clean my face off afterwards and I looked like I had really bad dry skin, that was peeling off! Don’t risk screwing up your skin! Stay no to a facial! I went there on Sunday (APRIL 8, 2018) with my mother-in-law for pedicures and manicures. Pedicures were great! I didn’t like how the owner talks to his employees to inform of their next customer; degrading. Anyways when it was time for a pedicure, Esther rushes and didn’t cut my cuticles. My mother-in-law has one lady who left them another lady took off her polish and then a third lady; Kay did her powder manicure. Kay doesn’t have a clue how to do powder manicure! Uneven color out onto nails. Some nails were only half covered with power. Very sloppy. Tony did our back massages and sucked at life. At one point he while he was talking to coworkers, his hands were just resting on my shoulders, not massaging! Then time to pay was when I noticed there new counter sign of how much to tip! Initially thinking this was helpful but after paying, they point to tipping sign then direct me to tip everyone. I was already in the process of tipping! Rude. I decided not to tip for the crappy back massage that was included with my pedicure and I had the owner aggressively approach me asking to tip! My mother-in-law tip $5 to him and we left! Before Sunday I loved this place. It’s a nice treat to myself to splurge once in a while but they made me feel so uncomfortable! Won’t be returning! I'm a big nail biter and figured this would personally be my best option to try and stop. I heard a great recommendation from a friend. When I got there, it seemed really nice and zen with spa music playing in the back. My nails were pretty bad but I'm not coming to a nail salon to be judged and that's what it seemed was happening. The lady kept calling her coworkers over to stare at my nails, speaking her native language, and I wouldn't stop seeing eyebrow raises. I tried to start a friendly conversation with the lady doing my nails and she wouldn't respond to me. I asked her to leave them short but she kept leaving them long. When I would tell her to cut them shorter, her responses were condescending. I just got uncomfortable being there. She also didn't leave them symmetrical and some nails are squared while others are rounder. I paid $82 for UV gel extensions. Never coming here again. Read Less

Ok so been here twice... the selection is great, so many color options.   Can get pricy but also worth it!  Only issue was the last time I went I made an appointment for 3 of us for mani and pedi!  We felt a little rushed and i didn't like that, I would prefer they ask us to come a little earlier so that they didn't rush us cause they were closing an 7!  Other than that I love the place, so worth coming back! If I could give this place a negative rating I would. This is the second time I came here and the first time was wonderful. This time the lady got mad that I only wanted a regular pedicure and started to give me an attitude then she did my gel manicure... more like half a gel manicure only half of my nails are painted she missed the edges of al of them. So I tipped her 10% because I wasn't happy with the service, after I signed my receipt she made a comment about how I didn't tip enough and I need to tip more then 10%. I was mortified. I normally would recommend this place but after this weekend I have had the worst experience I have ever had at any nail place. I was going to this place for almost a year now. I decided to try the powder gel instead of the regular gel, not knowing the process I told the girl, Julie, the colors I wanted and she pulled them to the Work station.. while doing my nails she cut me with the cuticle cutter and then cut me again with the electric tool above my cuticle area (a spot where the tool shouldn’t have even touched). I was in terrible pain. Then at the end she had pulled the wrong colors, I explained to Kay that I was not paying for my nails. Kay knew I was a regular there. She made me pay for my nails and was willing to do my nails the next day along with not ever wanting to go back to this place I did not want my nails to be touched the next day due to the terrible cuts that I had obtained. Then when I went to pay they would not even let me use coupons that I wanted to use with the services. Now I am even concerned that my cuts are even getting infected. The place is beautiful. I love the hot back and neck pillow when you're getting a pedicure. I also love they have little coupons and deals. The only thing I have to say is that it's extremely pricey for powder gel. I usually pay 30... they charge 45!! That's astronomical especially for this area. LOVE this place!Yes, it is more expensive, but not that much more than much worse places and you get what you pay for.They have lots of colors. The inside is sleek and modern. This place is my new obsession. Its CLEAN!!!  and the decor is very chic and modern. Very spacious and i dont smell the typical chemical odor of a nail salon. Its more of a spa. Everyone was very kind and warm and they really do a good job. I like that they have lots of gel colors as well as design options and the spa pedicure was on the point!! Their price is not cheap but not ridiculously high either. You got what you pay for.  So far i only got mani pedi done here so far but will definitely come back for other spa services. Read Less

Horrible experience. Cathy put gel extensions on me and did such a sloppy crooked job. I told her I was upset and told her all my nails were crooked and a mess. She tried fixing them but she is just so inexperienced and an unskilled nail technician. They overcharge you and don't even have skill. Gel factory is my new go to place. It's super clean, never packed or a long wait, tons of colors, sparkle and very high quality. Even just a manicure is vey luxurious, and lasts a while. You pay comparable to other places or maybe a few dollars more, but, you get pampered like a queen. The special pedicures last over an hour and include a 10 minute back massage, 10 minute foot massage, callus treatment and leg mask. It's great if you go with friends too because there's curtains between every 2 chairs for your own little appointment with you and your friend. Make sure you join the mailing list because you get coupons and they're actually really amazing. I love the sparkle they put on your nails, it's like actualGlitter with put on with a paint brush. It looks incredible though and although it's $15, there's usually a coupon so it's free. Such a steal! The 10 minute back rub did not disappoint and was also great, as was the foot massage. I recommend this place to anyone who's not wanting a cheap quick experience, but rather, is willing to pay a little more, be completely pampered and spend 2 hours here. Read Less

This place is luxe! I got a gel spa pedicure, the Lemon Rosehip, and I was so impressed. I really like lemon-scented things so I knew I would like it but I was not expecting an entire lemon to be rubbed on my legs and squeezed into the foot bath. They used paraffin wax on my heels and all kinds of salt scrubs and oils on my legs. Included with the service was a ten minute foot and leg massage that was wonderful. At the checkout I was given a nice sized shea butter hand lotion to take home. I could tell the employees take pride in their work and use high quality ingredients. My only complaint is pricing. My service came to $73 plus tax, which I think was after a 20% discount. (I don't know why she gave me a discount.) The pedicure I chose was listed as $60, and I knew it would be more because of the gel polish, but I really didn't know how much it was going to be. I overhead other customers asking about pricing and it sounded like they were also unsure because the nail art prices vary. I just got one color. Not knocking off any stars because I probably could have clarified with her on the price but I just kinda figured it would be about $80 and it was. Overall a great experience! Read Less

The atmosphere is very elegant and relaxing. Instrumental music is played in a room with sheer curtains and chandeliers. This is my third visit and I am very happy with the services provided. I had Ann and Angela for pedi and gel mani. The gel lasted 3 weeks without chipping. The pedicures were pricey but relaxing. I had a facial today with Ann. I went to this piece for something new and different from my regular salon last week. I got chrome gel nails done from Hannah. It cost me $55 just for the manicure plus I got a pedicure and by the next day my finger nails were chipping off. I had to go away and by the 3-4 th day all my nails were peeling off. Very frustrating and a total waste of money. I was going to do this again before I go to Italy but I have no confidence in these gel manicures now. They are very expensive and it wasn't a nice thick coating like I would normally get from my other nail salon. I didn't like how the women in the white outfits treated the Spanish girls in the checkered aprons. They were rude and ordering them around like they were slaves. A few women that were getting pedicures noticed it too and were apaulled at the behavior. Not a warm friendly place. They also kept trying to your up sell the spa pedicures and weren't being clear on what service you get with the standard pedicure which is not cheap to begin with. But they just kept trying to push the book into peoples hands to up sell spa pedicures. I heard women trying to figure out what was standard pedicure but they just kept pushing the $65-+ pedicures. Really wanted to love this place... I've been here 3 times for uv gel fill in and pedicures. Here are my thoughts:Pros: The regular pedi is pretty luxurious. Each mani comes with moisturized gloves. You'll get a little free back massage while getting your nails done. The place is clean and very beautiful. Cons: I've been cut on my fingers with a nail file 3/3 times. A nail has broke 2/3 times after my fill in. A regular pedi is $35! Uv fill in + uv gel is $60 ( vs $45 at most other places) And my nails are never checked to make sure the length is equal on each side. I'm the one saying ' cut this one down more' Summary- If I'm paying $15 more for my fill in and pedi, it better damn well be near perfect. Read yelp reviews & desperately needed a new gel manicure for interviews this week. Someone mentioned following Nick from his previous salon, raved about how great he was & booked my appointment through him. I needed my hard gel removed & he could not do that. So Kay was my tech & she did a great job! I hate getting my nails done, but love having them done & nice. She was 90 minutes on the nose from removal, new hard gel & polish.My only gripe is that prices are not listed anywhere & on my way in, a woman complained that "sparkles" cost her an extra $30 & she should've been told & paying $108 was unacceptable.  That had me worried, as people on Yelp had some similar complaints. I went in with the mentality of keep it simple & ask what prices are for everything. The 'deal' was a new set for $60. To have the old ones taken off & fix the really short one, plus the $30 for the gel manicure would've totaled $48. I'm glad I opted for the new set. They look & feel great.  Parking was a non-issue (private lot) and there's plenty to do around there afterwards - shops, restaurants, etc.I was given coupons & lotion on the way out. I will return again & will possibly make this my new spot. They have better prices than NYC, easier parking & same distance commute. I can't comment on nail art, but will try in future visits! So excited that my friends recommended me this place to try. I've been trying to find a decent place on Long Island that does fancy nail art with gel polishes. A lot of places I have been to have been a disappointment and has convinced me that Long Island does not have nail salons that can match up to my expectations. Gel Factory has given me hope and I will be visiting them from time to time. Their service was great and everyone was very kind. My nail artist had some trouble trying to do what I asked her but she tried her very hardest and did her best. Her name was Jenny. Also, they give u a hand exfoliating scrub and hand mask when u walk in. That's a plus! In the end, I ended up leaving with awesome nails, some coupons and a complimentary hand lotion. I just got the best manicure in NY! Gel factory is a brand new spa with manicure​, pedicure, facial, waxing and eyelash extensions. I actually drove all the way here from the city to follow my favorite nail technician of 6 years, Nick. The decor is clean and modern, and the products they use are all really high quality. They even have beautiful bathrooms, and complimentary tea / coffee. You start off with a hand scrub before they sit you down, and you can also request a 10 min shoulder massage while you soak off your gel polish. Gel manicures are only $30, which is cheaper than the city. Today I got an extra hologram ombre design on the tips which I'm loving! I don't know where to start with this salon/spa.. It truly is worth every penny spent.. I went there today for a pedicure and fill in.I had a detox pedicure it was a bit expensive (not something I would do normally but once in a while as a treat) . I loved so many things .. My new go to nail salon. The very first time I went to this place I fell in love. They are a bit pricey but honestly it's so worth it. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. They're super clean and most of the people there are friendly. I would personally recommend Hannah, she's so sweet and really knows what she's doing. They have a huge selection of nail polish and they pretty much do it all.. even eyelash extensions! The only reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly because I had made an appointment for 2 and waited around for at the very least 30 minutes. They're not very good with time management.
