FreshCoat is the nail salon that East Hampton needed. I have been about 5 times over the last two summers, bringing some of my friends with me, all of whom have come back. The moda operandi of the salon is health. They only use products that are good for you, which is refreshing to see, as many nail salons use polishes with harmful chemicals and a lot bad bacteria can be found in most nail salons feet soaking water baths. There is nothing sketchy whatsoever about FreshCoat, which is what all nail salons should not be, even though many are. FreshCoat's approach as a nail salon is different and innovative, in that the way it operates goes deeper than just looks. When walking into a typical nail salon, many people do not realize how easy it would be to contract awful bacteria. But FreshCoat does this thinking for you, and goes even further to do something about it by giving a genuinely sanitary, yet still "A+" manicure or pedicure. In addition to the refreshingly sanitary manicure that you will receive at the salon, the FreshCoat product line deserves a glowing review in its self. FreshCoat offers a wide variety of organic nail polish colors that actually DO last just as long as a typical nail polish that includes many chemicals harmful to your health. But, if you still don't like this type of polish by all means bring your own. Also, I have tried a few organic polish removers in the past, most of which have barely worked until now. FreshCoats', which I bought from them when I came last summer, works perfectly to remove any normal polish. As for the atmosphere of FreshCoat, the interior of the salon is all white and clean looking. The chairs that you sit in are quite comfortable. At the door, they offer free water or rosé-what could be better than that! Additionally, the owner-Missy-and the techs are very hardworking, lovely, and kind. My only critiques for the salon are that I wish that there were more nail techs so that more people could go at once, it would be great if they started offering gel manicures, and sometimes the mani/pedis can take a little too long because the techs do such a precise job. Other than that, there are no other bad thoughts I can express about the salon. I almost never give a yelp review. However, I deemed it necessary for this salon because I feel so strongly about it. Overall, FreshCoat delivers a great mani/pedi and I believe that it is THE nail place of East Hampton. Read Less
