My first time in was ok. But I did feel like she rushed at the end which did show in a few of my nails and I don't think she really took the time to listen to what I wanted. And if I expressed​ concern about something she would kind of cut me off and just say that she will make them look good... However when I went in for my fills two weeks later they had hired a new guy named Kenny...I think that's his name... anyways he listened to everything I wanted and made my nails look amazing. They look like they could be my natural nails. They feel natural too! The next day when I went to work I had several customers complement them and make a comment about how they don't look like acrylics but instead like natural nails. It seemed like a nice place and is clean. However, the price for the service I received was absolutely not right. I've been moving and my nails were dirty and cuticles needed to be clipped. All I wanted was a basic manicure...I didn't even want polish, just to be cleaned up. Immediately, Katie told me it would be the same price even though I didn't want polish, which I understood. She barely shaped my nails...they pretty much look the same as when I came in. She pushed me the entire to get a gel manicure, eyebrow wax, or other services. It took a total of about 6 minutes and this is after I had to ask her to clean under my nails as well. After I washed my hands she called me over to dip my hands in wax. Very nice...but I never asked for it so I just assumed it was part of the service. When I went to cash out I was told it was $25! For a basic manicure?? She told me I had a spa manicure...which I never asked for. There is no way the service I had should have amounted to 25 dollars. I've paid about 12 dollars for much better manicures in the past. I went there for a full set today and was thoroughly disappointed. It ended up being $40 and I didnt even get a design or gel polish. The woman that did my nails was annoying to say the least. From the moment I walked in the door she insisted that I purchase extra services even though I politely declined multiple times. Overall it was clean but she had terrible customer service and annoyed me so much that I will never return, nor did I tip her. I reccomend going to TP Nails across the street. Read Less

I'm giving this place two stars because the staff was friendly and quick. What made me upset is how they constantly ask you during your pedicure if you want to add extra services and keep pestering you through your time there. I just wanted to relax but it's hard when they're begging for you to spend more money. I rarely get my nails done so when she asked if I wanted a flower on my big toe of course I said yes. I didn't know that it would be an extra five dollars because they won't tell you that. I have been to every nail salon in the Four Corners area. This last Saturday I decided to try Bellissimo for the first time. I took my Grandmother in for a pedicure and the ladies were fantastic. I used to get regular pedicures and my eyebrows done here but a few bad experiences have made me not want to go back.  For the pedicures, the last time I went over the summer it was extremely rushed.  I didn't understand why, because there was nobody waiting, but my entire pedicure lasted 30 minutes and my friend's less than 20 minutes.  They tried to get us to upgrade and when we both refused, I think the girl was ticked off and did her quickest job possible.  She barely scrubbed my feet, worried about cuticles, leg massage, nothing.  My friend was appalled at the service.  The polish was sloppy and no thank you was said to us as customers after she finished.  She was going back and forth between us, I'm not sure why, because there were another few workers available.  Eyebrows have even gone downhill at this place.  They used to be $7 which was cheap in my opinion.  I've given the girl a $10 before and asked for a dollar back and have had them roll their eyes at me for asking for change.  The last few times I've gotten my brows done here they take about a minute and are so rushed.  For what?  No other customers in the place.  I've stopped going here for eyebrows.  I don't think this place will last if they keep up their hurriedly work ethic. I've been going here for a little over a year and it took me awhile to find the right place to go after the place I went to for 10 years closed. I think they're kind of on the high-priced side but it's also the neighborhood. I'm used to doing in Buffalo and where is way cheaper and it's also not as good a quality as this place is. I get a fill, pedicure, and my eyebrows with gel polish and a design for roughly $100. They do an amazing job recently I had to get a new set put on and I went to a different place and they werent lifting they were done horribly with the design so I learned my lesson and went back to superior and my nails are beautiful. I love the girls there they're all really friendly and remember things that we've talked about. There was asking how my husband and my kids are. On top of that I never wait when I go in there. The girl that I see on a regular basis is a perfectionist , which is a good and a bad thing it means I'm there much longer find it also means my nails come out looking perfect. I've been here once before and had the best gel manicure i have ever had. So today I returned and as I got home I realized 3 of my toe nails were not even painted. Not something I make sure to check before leaving a nail salon. I paid extra money for a special pedicure which I had 3 lotions rubbed on me with no actual pressure or massage and left with only 7 of 10 painted tone nails. Awful experience. They helped three customers who came in after us and never got to my nails. Ignored me sitting there for an entire hour...waiting for my mani/pedi. Seriously...not a single acknowledgement after I walked in the door and asked for a mani/pedi...and they just never got around to me before closing. Bizarre and so rude. The in-person equivalent to being put on hold by a call center and everyone leaving for the day while you sit there waiting. Ignored my daughter's initial request for an eyebrow wax and acted put out when I asked about it after her manicure...because it was almost closing time. Do not go here. They're extremely incompetent and they don't really speak/understand English. I told them I wanted gel polish, and they understood acrylic and begin drilling into my natural, pretty nails, only to ruin them. When I quickly explained that's not what I wanted, they began to act stupid, and said they could fix their mistake. I figured I'd get somewhat of a discount. I was wrong. I absolutely love this place! My sister started going here and always raved about it. I eventually caught on and I wish I had listened to her sooner! Flower is the shops owner she is adorable, so very kind, gentle! She actually listens when I don't like something I think it's "off", instead of arguing with me or trying to explain that my finger is crooked she just changes it as I wish. Best and cheapest Gel Manicure hands down! (Literally she makes me put my hands down and soaks them, and massages, and I get a nice scrub treatment) =) There are at least 50 Gel colors to choose from and she also has the printed tips, which I have not gotten since I prefer a shorter nail but my sister has and she liked them. She always finds a time to fit me in, I usually make appointments and it's never a problem. They are awesome with pedicures. If they are busy she will stick me in a chair and I actually get to relax, once in a while a walk will appear and I've actually opted to let her take them so I can stay in the massage chair. I've been to a bunch of other places, I used to be a regular at the McKinley mall but they changed people and everyone I got to like always left. I have been out on the BLVD by slick willies and while they are nice they are not quite as attention to detail as I like, probably because it's to dim inside. Do NOT give them your money!!I was apprehensive about spending my money here after reading the lousy reviews, but I gave it a chance. I sat down for a gel manicure at the 1st station on the left. She used the hardest grade nail file I've had and it was square and she was rough. While roughly cutting back my skin, she made me bleed. I have NEVER had that happen!!! I then had to ask her to cut off more skin and clean up her messy paint job!I asked her what her rush was, cause there was nobody waiting! DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! We waited with our feet in water well over 30 mins for a pedicure. This place re-uses nail files and I didn't see any cleaning of them other than dunking them in the water my feet were just soaking in.  After I turned down any extras with my pedicure, my pedicurist wouldn't even say a word to me. I have been a customer of Superior Nails for a long time. Every once is a while I get busy or end up out of town when my nails need to be done and I try another salon...I am quickly reminded why I am so loyal to Superior Nails- my nails are done to my liking EVERY TIME or they fix them with a smile, always letting me know it is not a problem, they are here to make me happy! Customer service is VERY important to me, they are always there to serve me. They do not get pushy with all the extra stuff either... THAT is something i REALLY HATE! But I tell them what I want and they do JUST THAT!! I appreciate the atmosphere of the salon, the quality of work AND the quality of their work both nails and pedicures!
