Actually, it was my mom who recommend this place for me. I usually do my nail polish and nail design at Jersey City. But this weekend, when I went to Coram to visit my mom, I tried this place. The staffs are really nice; they are talkative and also listen to your need. They are also professional on nail design. Just tell them what you want and they like to offer their suggestion. I wanted to get my nails done, it's my 1st time try out this place. Nail salon's in Manhattan's pretty pricey. Since I always get a single color gel manicure, it shouldn't go wrong anywhere. Their price point is reasonable, and my gel manicure has a great finish. Would come back. Read Less

I will usually go here because it's right around the corner from me when I need something quick or I don't have time to drive and get my nails done; my last visit was awful!This is my go to place when I need my eyebrows done. They listen when I want something specific, if it's just a clean or if I don't want them to tweeze. What went wrong:-the woman didn't cut until after filing them down-left majority (7-10) nails uneven and after asking to fix she argued they were perfect. -the polish is ridged and very uneven on the nails, to the point where they started chipping 2 hours later. My first ever manicure ever lol and the woman was rude. She gave me two choices of a nail shape-round or square. Apparently there were 6 choices to choose from and she filed too short and gave me "almond" shaped nails anyway. Which don't look good on my hands-I don't have the daintiest of fingers but damn help a girl out. I explained to her I didn't like it but communication wasn't the best. She asked me to pay in the middle of my session which I added a tip on my receipt since I didn't have cash. Seemed very forward to me to pay before I saw the finished product so I assumed it was to not ruin my nails while signing the receipt I guess. I gave $5 anyway on just a manicure which I hoped was ok especially since she was rude and wasn't done yet. She scoffed at the tip and I noticed she didn't examine my nails or take paint off my skin at the end like I saw her do with another customer (who she didn't ask to pay mid-session). She rushed me off then left me to dry under the fan for like 20 minutes before I asked "am I dry yet?" She laughed at me and said yes I was done awhile ago. Like I said, first time ever for me so I was clueless. Apparently $5 tip for a manicure sucks? I also paid for a friends pedi who gave her own tip. Maybe she thought my $5 was for us both? I had been a long-time customer at another local nail spa but when my regular girl left and I went back for gel manicure I was EXTREMELY unhappy with the job. A friend of mine recommended Your Nail Spa III and I gave them a try. Joseph did my nails and he did an excellent job!!!!! This will be my new nail spa from here on! Highly recommend them!!!!
