I am a “nail biter” that under recommendation from my dentist, decided to start getting my nails done to deter me from biting my nails and hurting my teeth. First time visiting, Jason did my nails beautifully! Made recommendations on shapes, lengths and colors. Fill-time came and I still had all my original tips...Jason wasn’t available but was introduced to Thip...and she, as well, did a GREAT JOB! 3 services later, I have never lost or broken a nail (I’m rough on my nails... too!), I’m not biting my nails, and I gained a new friend in Thip...sweetest young lady that is down to earth and I can laugh and be real with. Their salon is ALWAYS busy which tells you they are great at what thru do. Word of advice...MAKE AN APPOINTMENT...you cannot get mad at anyone for not being able to get to you right away unless you have an appointment. Nothing irritates me more then people who walk-in acting ignorant for having to wait 15-20 mins because you don’t make the appointment...treat them kind and they will bend over backwards showing you the quality attention they show everyone else when it’s your time for service. I went in today (Sunday) at 5:35pm and there was about a 15mins wait. Mike sat me down in his area. I showed him what i wanted, size, shape and colors. He did his best and told me it wasn't going to be exactly like the picture but I already knew that. It was about 6:10 and he seem to be in a hurry. It slowed down in the salon and we got to talking and I asked what time they usually close on Sunday. THEY CLOSE AT 5PM!!!! I felt like an A**hole! Showing up pass closing and they still took me in! I am from out of town with some free time after work. I called Tammy Lynn’s and they were able to get me in right away for a new set of nails. Best experience I have ever had at a nail salon! So I thought I had found my nail shops. First time was a wonderful experience. I decided to make a appointment for my family before we left for a Disneyland trip. My husband said he wouldn’t go back. The lady seem to rush on him. I pay full price for a pedi and mani for my daughter all they did was polish her nails. That only lasted for that day. So I got the dip system done on my nails. Well Monday the design I got was off. The shellac I got on my toes didn’t last either. Ye...s she was wanting to fix my nails, but i just felt I spent almost 200 that day and feel the work surely wasn’t worth the money I paid. Getting something free is okay but not really worth it when I paid money for something that wasn’t isn’t showing off on vacation! That’s Sad that quality isn’t truly worth it! I went in and I dint get what i wanted, the person who helped just assumed I wanted the color she put in my nails. I showed her a picture,Then she put 3 small rhyme stones on 2 fingers and she said it was no charge. When she charged me she said it was $50! And first off my nails were super short whitch that was okay because that the length I wanted them, I dint want them squared, I Never asked for ombré witch she said that’s what I showed her. I told her I just wanted them a red color she made them obre and squared with the rhyme stones. I just wanted a simple red round natural look. She did take 5 dollars off, not worth the $45 thAt I payed, I dint even get lotion on my hands lol . This is what I get for not waiting on the guy who normally does my nail.Read Less

Have had my nails done hundreds of times this was by far the worst nail experience I've EVER had first time coming to this salon and horrible service half ass nails since they were busy and rushing paid an extra 20 for bling which started coming off within an hour less than a week later many of them are already lifting you can tell they were rushed and look horrible some really thick some way thin just an all around horrible experience I paid 75 dollars for a hideous set of nails worst part by far was the service and the way they treat and talk to people Read Less

This was the worst nail experience and customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. Me and my grandmother went to get our nails done for my grandfather's funeral. The staff was very rude. They messed up my grandmother's nails 4 times and they were rude about it even though it was their fault (they messed up the labels on the colors and painted her nails the wrong color). My grandmother was obviously distraught and told them that her husband had just passed, and they still continued to be rude. The way she was treated was absolutely disgusting, please do not give this place your business. Read Less

To start I called and made appts for 6 girls which was a bridal party and they said we would all be together and that didn't happen. We then paid a good amount of money and then we were rushed out of there. The equipment was not sterile and they really didn't clean the foot tubs after each person. The were not polite and yelled at one of the girls because she came back to talk to me because they were still waiting. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not a good first impression. The man who sits in the middle did my fill it was horrible he completely forgot to put the last shinny coat on my left hand I have a french manicure . He gave dirty looks was not friendly. I had to go back to get the left hand finished. The nails were crooked and just sloppy. My daughter pd 30 for her fill and had to leave 1 nail undone due to an injury. Was told to come back and they would put it on for free due to the fact she already pd. Went back and they wanted to charge her. Won't say a good word for these people nor will we go back. I really wanted to like my experience at VIP nails, but I need to give an honest review. I was sent there by my nail tech at Innovations who was running behind and only had time for a pedi. I asked if there was a good nail salon nearby since I had an event that evening and she sent me to VIP. It was actually almost empty and I was seated quickly for a gel manicure. When I picked out the color- a fun light summer blue- my tech talked me into doing a powder dip instead of gel. Admittedly there was quite a language barrier, but he managed to convey that the powder was strong and even longer lasting than gel. Also that it would strengthen my nails. The color choices are minimal with the dip but he chose one he said was similar. The process itself is easy and straightforward with multiple dippings into the jar of powder and then drying with a manual fan. Unfortunately the color wasn't even remotely blue, more like a yellowish beige (my daughters told me try to think of it as "seashell"). After I resigned myself to the color, however, the nails started to chip and break within a week! From everything I've read, the dip should last longer than  gel. I've been cutting and filing the broken nails, trying to extend the manicure! The one advantage of this system is that the polish doesn't grow out in the same way as a manicure. The color still starts at my cuticle which is great. Conclusion:  I would try a powder dip again, but in a different color and at a different salon! Read Less

Worst pedicure ever!! I was charged 50$ for a regular pedicure and the next day all of my toes were chipping. Not only that they do not keep there tools in the sterilizer, after she scrubbed my feet with the metal tool she whet to the sick and just washed it off. Maybe the health department needs to pay them a visit. I will be retiring to my previous salon. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy what a waste of money!! Read Less

I have only had pedicures there so I can only speak to that. They have been excellent and affordable.  The only negative is that they are always busy and have to wait. They have many technicians but they always have clients. The 6 pedi chairs are always full. Read Less

I came here twice. First time they were completely rude and added 10 dollars to my tab because I didn't let them know I had gel on my nails. I would have been fine with the charge if she didn't include that I was new but next time she won't charge me. The second time I just wanted my eye brows waxed. I stood there for ten minutes and no one even acknowledged me, but they said hi and asked what a person wanted who came in after me. I will never go here again. Read Less

Don't waste your money!  I went there for a gel manicure was bounced between two different manicurist and then after I had left and driven half way home noticed two of my nails had big air bubbles in them.  I drove back and asked them to fix it, which they agreed to but one of my nails still has a bubble.  Not worth the aggravation when there are so many better nail salons around!
