After leaving my old nail place because of new management, I was recommended to Serenity Spa. How nice it was to walk in and find 2 of the "best" ladies from the old place. Worst experience I have ever went to. I went in as a bride. They saw pictures of the nails I wanted and they said it was no problem and they could take care of me. I was the last one of our group to start the pedicure and was the first finished. The job was very rushed. During my manicure I was told I was given the best person. He was not able to the sparkle design I asked for. While I was saying I was unhappy and asking how we could change it he started telling me that he didn't charge me enough money and I owe him more. He did not care I was upset. He then became hostile by ruining my nails even more. He was not willing to start over or put any effort into it. After being told twice that I my picture of ombre sparkles would be no problem, the salon started telling me that there was no way I could expect them to do the same thing. I had to walk out crying in the middle. On top of that even though I had an appointment while all of this happened one member of my party was not yet taken to start her nails and they took other people who came in after us. What a disappointment!!! For my friends wedding, we were looking for a nicer place for nails rather than our regular go to spot. Upon reading the reviews on here, we decided Serenity sounded like the perfect place to get dolled for her special day. Upon arriving at the Serenity, we told the lady at the front that we had appointments for 4 mani/pedi. They instructed us to pick a color and head to the pedicure chairs. When I wasn't picking the color fast enough a man instructed me to just head to the chairs and I had to tell him I need more time. My pedicure was very fast and the tech never even asked if I wanted extra treatment for my heels, so I didn't even know if they provided it. Regardless, my friend, the bride asked for sparkle ombre and even showed them a picture!! They said they could do and picked the sparkles for her. When he was done, she told them that she wanted a little more sparkles. The gentleman then proceeded to glob on sparkles resulting in the nails looking messy and nothing like the picture. When my friend, the bride, told him she didn't like the way it looked, the man became enraged and started blaming my friend that it was her fault that it looked bad because she wanted more sparkles. The man continued to argue with my friend and when I said that regardless of who's fault it was she is unhappy and wants something else, he started talking about more money! My friend became so upset that she ended up walking out and having her nails done elsewhere. She walked out as I was drying my nails, I asked the man to come over to have a discussion about what happened and he kept talking over me! When I asked him to please let me finish what I had to say he walked away. Rude!!! Terrible business owners who made no attempt to make the customer happy. My sister and our two friends visited here over the weekend. My sister was getting married on Sunday, and called ahead of time for reservations on Saturday for the bridal party. I needed to have my eyebrows done, and a manicure. When we walked in I said I wanted the SNS dip powder removed from my nails and a regular French manicure. Right away they started pushing me to get a gel. When I sat down Amy kept asking me what was on my nails. First of all SNS dip powder is becoming extremely well known, and second it's a quality product. She had no idea what it was or how to remove it. She asked me where I got it done, was it expensive etc. I told her it needed to be soaked off like any other gel. She took a metal scrapper and made a mess trying to get it off. It wasn't till the technician next to us told her to use a file did she get it off. I should have known then that this visit was going to be disaster. I asked for something extremely basic and they were rude and pushy. She did a nice job on my eyebrows, but I left shortly after due to the poor service I received and my sister had a worse experience. We walked out and went a few doors down to another salon... they were much friendlier and professional, and had SNS dip powder as an option. We've been looking for a new nail spa for months and have finally found an amazing place! Serenity Spa is located on a quiet street in Chappaqua with street parking. Came here for the first time to get a pedicure and I was not disappointed. I chose to have the callus treatment as well, and my feet look beautiful and feel so smooth. My pedicurist was an excellent conversationalist and made my time in here very relaxing and pleasurable. In my typical fashion, I smudged my toe a few minutes after leaving-- I came back in and had it fixed free of charge, which was so nice of them. Very sanitary and excellent work is done here. I come here each year for a pre bday and pre beach getaway pedicure. And they place you in the BEST massage chair ever!There are concerts  playing on the big screen, and the vibe is so friendly!A must do for anyone who needs to decompress! Read Less

I'm also a regular here and each time is a great experience!  The owner/manager always offers something to drink and remembers me each time. They are very generous with they're massages just all around friendly. Although it's a little pricey, I find it worth the few extra bucks. I am a regular customer here at Serenity, and they definitely do a very good job. They play some interesting dvds during my time there, the massage chairs are nice, and the chair massages are even better. I usually get a gel manicure once every two weeks and a pedicure once every month. They do a consistently good job. I have tried a few other joints, but none seem to compare to the way they do it at serenity. At times, this place can be a little sus, but if you brush it off, you will leave feeling pretty satisfied.edit: expensive tho. Read Less

i always enjoy coming here to get my nails done. the staff is so nice and welcoming. the ambiance is relaxing (when it's not filled with kids). the prices are a bit expensive (mani=10, pedi=25) but i think it's worth it. Read Less

I have been a client at Serenity Spa for over a year.  I have found the quality of my manicures and pedicures to be among the best I've experienced, and I've tried nail salons in the tri-state area.  The service providers are expert, friendly and considerate.  The owners are more than accommodating and are extremely conscientious and welcoming. The facility is immaculate.  All in all, I can't imagine a place that cares more about their clients well-being and comfort.  I reccomend this spa to anyone who is interested in experienced care in a comfortable, clean and pampering environment. Unfortunately, the owners/managers do not care too much about clients. My friend and I went in for a manicure the other day, very few people in there which was fine, however, it was cold in the salon which was not a good start. About 5 minutes into my manicure, one of the employees knocked a huge cup of coffee all over my purse which had been sitting on the floor! They scooped up my bag and tried to clean it off and then the owner (?) tells me I am so lucky that I have a waterproof bag! It is a nylon and leather Longchamp - not waterproof at all! Plus my leather wallet and many other items were inside getting wet and sticky :-(They apologized once, did not offer me any complimentary services and acted like it was not a big deal at all.
