I brought my mother-in-law here last weekend. Sadly, I can't say a single good thing about this place.
They take appointments but I don't know why. They are half an hour or more behind schedule. Our appointment was for 1:30 but we didn't get done for close to two hours. She got a pedicure, I got a manicure but most of our time there was spent waiting on someone to be available for her pedicure.
They were unfriendly, which should have been enough to turn around but we didn't. I was hoping the end product would at least be worth it. What a mistake.
For $33 (plus tip; my mother-in-law is way too giving), I got such a low quality gel manicure that when I went in to show them how badly the gel was peeling, they denied that it was even possible that I'd had them done the previous weekend. She said, and I quote, "That looks like it was done two weeks ago." Yes, that was my point. Them calling me a liar aside, their acknowledgement that it is quite bad should have spurred them to act. It did not. These people don't stand by their services, obviously for a reason.
They asked who did my nails, so I said the gentleman had. He looked at my nails for a split second and then walked away without uttering a single syllable.
I asked if they could fix them for me, they said no, I'd have to pay them to do it all over again. "You can pick another color and we'll do it again." Why would anyone elect to pay them even more money for a service they won't stand behind?
The experience itself wasn't even pleasant. They don't pay anyone to answer the phone so if you're lucky enough to have your nails done during a busy period by the gentleman sitting by the phone, your manicure is interrupted every few minutes as he turns away to schedule more appointments than they can remotely handle. Which I am sure they know is behind a drop in the quality of their work.
If they had been willing to work with me instead of implying I am a liar it would have been fine. I understand it's rough when you're busy but a total denial of culpability followed by a greedy grab for more money is shameful. If there is any doubt as to the state of my nails and/or when I was there, I'm attaching photos.

Have been looking for a new place to do my nails , when I stumbled on Lindsey Nails . I read all their reviews as well as the competitors. They had the highest reviews. I walked in yesterday and this is my new favorite place . It's clean , the staff are polite, caring & knowlegable . Prices are reasonable . Huge assortment of colors both gel & regular polish . They take only cash , but have an atm on premises. Can't wait for my next appointment !!!

My first (and last) time going here. I asked for a regular pedicure and no-chip manicure and was given one set of colors to choose from and told those were the ones for which they had matching colors....
My first (and last) time going here. I asked for a regular pedicure and no-chip manicure and was given one set of colors to choose from and told those were the ones for which they had matching colors. Pedicure went fine with a lovely blue color. When we got to the manicure, I could tell the minute she opened the bottle that it was a purple shade and told her as much. She showed me the bottle that had the same number on it, yet anyone who isn't colorblind could see my toes were blue and my nails were going to be purple. She put a coat on one hand and again, I told her they were different colors. Since I didn't have an entire afternoon to spend at the place putting gel polish on and off, I told her it was fine but that they are entirely different colors. She kept saying, "no, blue."No, purple.She then proceeded to finish my nails, have me wash my hands and that was it. Didn't bother cleaning them with alcohol afterward, leaving them looking ... cloudy and a couple of them somewhat ... sticky. Thankfully, I cleaned them when I got home and they look okay.Not worth anywhere close to $60. Get bent, Lindsey's.FYI: iNails in Seneca Falls is both cheaper and worlds better than Lindsey's.

The salon is clean, inviting and easy to spot from the road. My nails didn't turn out exactly how I wanted them to, but that's fine. They still look great. I got coffin-shaped acrylics, and they are a bit misshapen. I am however very grateful that they got me in for a full set an hour before they close. It was a pleasant experience and I will return.

My tech is Damaris and she is by far the best I have ever had....funny, friendly and knows her stuff. If u have a bad experience the owners need to know. How can it be fixed if they don't know.

Completely wrong nail color, I told her and she kept saying "no worry, no worry" whatever, just take my money and I'm never coming back. When I told her one was crooked she just kept shaking her head at me like she was annoyed and told my its not the nail, my finger is crooked. Worst nail experience I have ever had. I Will never come here again, and I most definitely would not recommend to a friend.

Very happy with my basic spa pedicure. Definitely worth the $30. The chairs were comfy and good massagers. Just as clean as any other nail salon. It was very busy for mid week with what looked like a lot of repeat customers. My only complaint was that the pedi chairs were far apart so my friends and I couldn't chat.

This is the only salon that I've ever walked into and have not been blown over by the strong smell of acrylic, unless it is extremely busy there is no nail salon smell! I love Lindsey's Nails! I always tell everyone about them whenever I get compliments on my nails! Which is every time I get my nails done! Thank you for all your great work!

This is the first time I've had my nails done here and I will not be returning. I asked for my nails to be cut short and square. I had grown them out so they would be easier shape. He cut them so short that two of my fingers are sore! In addition, many of my nails are cut and filed crooked. I'm part of a wedding this weekend and they're hideous! And beyond repair with the short time frame. Very unhappy and a very poor job, for an already overpriced nail salon! Very disappointed!

As I'm waiting for my nails to dry I politely hand an employee my debit card to pay and he tells me, "We only take cash or check, but we have an ATM right here." The machine charged me $2.50 for a withdrawal. Shady business Lindsey's Nails. Who still carries a checkbook these days?!? The $2.50 was your tip. Trust me, had you taken my debit card, you would have gotten a bigger tip. Word to the wise, big cash/checkbook or be prepared to feed the ATM machine fees.

I made an appointment and got there to see the place packed which seemed odd for a Monday afternoon. My mom and I were told to sit down and soak our feet and waited a little while before someone serviced us. The young man who did my mothers pedicure did a great job and took his time. But the older women who did mine was not friendly and was rushing my pedicure to get to the next person. The place itself is clean and great looking inside and out, just wish i had a technician who took her time and was friendly. Another good note is for $30 they provide a lot, not just feet soaking but scrubbed the legs and feet and used lotion.

It wasn't until this year that I started "shopping around" different nail salons in the area. After several bad mani/pedi experiences (CT nails in Macedon and Vicky's in Canandaigua), I settled on Lindsey's after many positive recommendations from friends and family. Every 2-3 weeks, I get my acrylics filled and I have been to almost all of the technicians, who are ALL capable of great work! Everyone is friendly and the place is spotless! You wait as a walk-in just as long as if you had an appointment.

Yesterday I had a 11:00 appointment for a mani/pedi. I arrived on time to wait for 40 minutes before I was asked to go to chair number 2. Once in chair number 2 I sat there for another 30 minutes with my feet in the water until someone came over. Pedi was fine but long. I never left there until 1:25, yes people that is 2 hours and 25 minutes for a mani/pedi. Then this morning the nail polish that I just got not even 24 hours old is peeling. Not a happy experience and I paid $55.00 for this. Debatable if I go back.I know that there are comments on here about how much better Lindsey's is than Vicky's, but I have never waited that long at Vicky's. Is Lindsey's atmosphere better than Vicky's yes. Just my thoughts.

The best nail salon I have been to outside a full service salon/spa setting, and the best gel manicure I have had to date.People are friendly, greet you right when you walk in the door and make sure you don't wait too long, even for walk-ins. They also make friendly conversation (not too much, so it's still relaxing) during your appointment. The salon is large and open--very different than most cramped nail salons--and everything is clean and organized. LOTS of colors to choose from--gel and regular--and you can see the color samples on nails, not just the dot on the bottom of the bottle. Attention to detail is awesome. Prices are listed on a big, colorful blackboard--so no surprises!Best in the Canandaigua area, in my opinion.

I brought my mother-in-law here last weekend. Sadly, I can't say a single good thing about this place.

It was very busy for mid week with what looked like a lot of repeat customers. My only complaint was that the pedi chairs were far apart so my friends and I couldn't chat.

My mom and I were told to sit down and soak our feet and waited a little while before someone serviced us. The young man who did my mothers pedicure did a great job and took his time. But the older women who did mine was not friendly and was rushing my pedicure to get to the next person. The place itself is clean and great looking inside and out, just wish i had a technician who took her time and was friendly. Another good note is for $30 they provide a lot, not just feet soaking but scrubbed the legs and feet and used lotion.

It wasn't until this year that I started "shopping around" different nail salons in the area. After several bad mani/pedi experiences (CT nails in Macedon and Vicky's in Canandaigua), I settled on Lindsey's after many positive recommendations from friends and family. Every 2-3 weeks, I get my acrylics filled and I have been to almost all of the technicians, who are ALL capable of great work! Everyone is friendly and the place is spotless! You wait as a walk-in just as long as if you had an appointment.

Yesterday I had a 11:00 appointment for a mani/pedi. I arrived on time to wait for 40 minutes before I was asked to go to chair number 2. Once in chair number 2 I sat there for another 30 minutes with my feet in the water until someone came over. Pedi was fine but long. I never left there until 1:25, yes people that is 2 hours and 25 minutes for a mani/pedi. Then this morning the nail polish that I just got not even 24 hours old is peeling. Not a happy experience and I paid $55.00 for this. Debatable if I go back.I know that there are comments on here about how much better Lindsey's is than Vicky's, but I have never waited that long at Vicky's. Is Lindsey's atmosphere better than Vicky's yes. Just my thoughts.

Love Lindsey's! Very relaxing and super clean! Very spacious and not cramped like many salons. Techs do a great job!

The best nail salon I have been to outside a full service salon/spa setting, and the best gel manicure I have had to date.People are friendly, greet you right when you walk in the door and make sure you don't wait too long, even for walk-ins. They also make friendly conversation (not too much, so it's still relaxing) during your appointment. The salon is large and open--very different than most cramped nail salons--and everything is clean and organized. LOTS of colors to choose from--gel and regular--and you can see the color samples on nails, not just the dot on the bottom of the bottle. Attention to detail is awesome. Prices are listed on a big, colorful blackboard--so no surprises!Best in the Canandaigua area, in my opinion.

Way cleaner and more thorough than Vicky's nails in the lakeshore plaza (also in Canandaigua........and really bad)New business, clean pedicure chairs, and unique nail colors.The prices are average and they have a giant board that lists their pricing so you're not surprised at the end of your service. I received a French pedicure as it was perfect!I definitely will be back and suggest Lindsey's to anyone else.
