I am disappointed with this place. Called and made a pedicure appointment for 1:30 for me and my sister. It was her very first pedicure ever and probably the worst I’ve had. I have never felt so rushed the guy doing my toes went so fast he ran the file over my heels only once and so fast I now have a cut and still have rough heels. They didn’t say 1 word to us the whole time besides asking what color and me telling him he didn’t turn on the gel light on because he was in such a hurry..... If someone has an appointment they should take the time to do a good job and make them comfortable not feel like a inconvenience. Had the worst massage ever during a pedicure that was given to me by a young woman named Annie. She did not even massage my legs but instead she just slathered some cream on them. My daughter sat next to me and had an older gentleman do hers and HE was fabulous!.... Annie proceeded to do my full set of nails. She did not ask what I wanted ahead of time and ended up having to take them all off and do another complete set. Another Tech had to come along and assist her. When I was finished, my nails looked wavy. Needless to say my nail beds were very sore the next day. I have been to the salon before and they did an OK job. I have known the ladies at the Nail Bar from when they were up at Amy's on 193. When they left Amys i was so disappointed and went to many different places to try and find a decent place to get a pedicure. I couldn't find one. One place I went to the owner could have cared less if I was there or not. She didn't look at me when she was talking to me and cut me off when i was talking to her to have a conversation with her friend. When i go to the Nail Bar i feel like i ha...ve come to a friends house. They always greet me by name. They are very quick to get me into a chair. Their chairs are the best ive sat in and ive had pedis at some expensive spas. All of the staff is friendly. Their nail art is beautiful. My feet are always smooth and soft. Received a gift certificate for my birthday and was excited to check this place out. It is unclear if I will sell the balance or return as this visit was not something I'm looking forward to experiencing again. PROS: Quick service--took less than 30 minutes for a manicure Polite--my chair was pulled out and held for me, my belongings were carried to each station for me Inexpensive--manicure (before tip) is $18. CONS: Quality--varies, make sure to read the reviews! Hygiene--my station was not cleaned, the employee just covered the previous mess with a fresh paper towel. You pay during the service. At today's visit, they wanted payment about five minutes after sitting down. There are signs everywhere that when paying with your card, you have to let them know when you pay what you will be tipping. I'm all for tipping when I know a job is well done, not when it is still in process. The reason I go to a salon instead of staying at home is I enjoy the pampering--especially the hand/wrist massage, hot cloth soak. In total, those together maybe took 45 seconds. They were poorly executed and then I was told what the total would be for my visit--again this was before my nails had even been started! Part of the"massage" was having the tops of my hands loosely punched. Not really something I'd ever like to repeat. While drying my nails at the end, I then had the surprise attack of another brief massage. The service here is unbelievable! The staff is prompt and extremely friendly (which says a lot as far as nail salons go), and they are gentle on your natural nail. Although they don't really specialize in designs (graphic nail art) the quality of the services are undeniable. Twice I have broken nails within a day or two of getting my manicure(my own fault) and they always get me right in for a repair, free if charge! My friend invited me here for some girl time because she had a gift card for her pedicure. Upon arrival, all of the blinds were shut and looked closed. When we got inside, the place looked clean. The man that was to do my pedicure just handed me this paper with a list of services.  I felt a little pressured to do the spa pedicure. I kept asking what the difference between the spa and regular was and he just kept saying that I wanted the spa ped. My friend got the regular pedicure and I didn't see that much of a difference between hers and mine. The reason why I am giving this place one star is because I paid $45 for a mani/pedi and during the pedi, the man filed my pinky toe so hard that it broke skin. Four days later and my toe is still aching. He did not apologize even when he saw that he broke skin. I waited until I had been to Nail Bar several times before writing a review. Here's what I found out: you are always greeted with a smile. They pride themselves on quality work and ensure you are happy with services provided. If not, they will fix it. Their customer service is top notch. For example, they get pretty busy sometimes and I've seen first hand how professional they are with handling so many customers. I got a basic mani pedi here. I was very disappointed. My experience was very rushed. The lady I had spent more time on the phone than actually doing my nails. Aside from her being rude, she didn't bother to push back my cuticles on my toe nails or my finger nails. She also was going to completely skip filing my left hand but I asked her if she could file them since she had missed them, politely I might add, and then she went on to completely file down my nails to past my skin on both hands. She didn't even bother to wipe off the shavings from filing my nails before she polished them so now I have nail shavings under the polish and a very bumpy manicure. Also for both my hands and feet she only applied ONE COAT of nail polish, and you can see my nail through the nail polish! She also acidentally bumped into one of the nails she already polished which wouldn't have been a big deal but when she went back to fix it she didn't even put the clear coat back over it like she had done previously for all of the other nails. I would not waste my money on a manicure or pedicure like this because chances are you could give yourself a better one at home. I can only speak for this lady that I had but her only concern was collecting my money she did not care at all about how my nails looked or any type of customer service. She didn't even do all of the bare minimum of what is expected when getting a manicure and pedicure. I am extremely disappointed that I had to pay for such terrible service. Read Less

I stopped in today and was pleasantly surprised! I was greeted immediately and shown to a chair. Initially I thought I would just get a pedicure, but looked at the price menu and opted to do the Princess Mani/Pedi. I always enjoy a sugar scrub, masque and hot towels. My technician, Mary (I think), did a great job and was very thorough. I appreciated that the tubs were lined and that the nail utensils were packaged after going through the autoclave. I noticed they did chrome nails and asked about the process and cost. Someone came and gave me am an explanation. So pretty, but maybe next time. I was pleased to see that they offer a 10% military discount. Cash is preferred, but not mandatory. I wrote a check. I think credits card incure a small fee. Very pleased all the way around. My gel manicure was fine but my sister had acrylics put on and it wasn't a good experience. It took them double the time it should have. They didn't give her what she asked for even after all that time and to top it off one of the nails literally just popped off after like 4 days. We won't be back. Read Less

I was in a rush to find a nail salon before my vacation. And I'm so glad I went here. At first I was confused as to why a full set was 40 but they give back massages and they do the dip acrylic instead of the traditional acrylic. It's a bit pricey but I absolutely loved it here. I had an excellent experience. I made an appointment for 5 pedicures for a group of us and we all enjoyed it. The chair massages are wonderful. The environment was relaxing and extremely clean. They use liners in the bowl your feet go in so there is no chance of catching anything. I would recommend to anyone! Read Less

I visited for the first time approximately three weeks ago. They were busy, but I didn't have to wait at all. I went with the mani/pedi option. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the salon and the quality of the worked performed. The free mini massage while my nails dried was an added bonus. The polish on my nails hadn't chipped ar all after the first week! I had only regular polish...no shellac. It survived showers, regular hand washing, and me doing the dishes!
