I stopped in here last week when my regular salon's power was out. I was accommodated right away (as a walk-in) for two services and left very happy. The woman that saw me did a beautiful job filling my acrylics, and she took her time making sure that everything was done correctly and to my liking. Never coming back, I'll just stick to what I know. When I first got there, there was only 3 people being worked on while there were 4 workers. I thought I'd get in the chair right away - wrong. I sat waiting for 30 minutes and I wish I would've just left like my gut told me. One lady was done after a few minutes which meant 2 workers were free, I still had to wait. It wasn't until. Third person was done that I finally got in the chair. I was getting a toe polish and a fill on my acrylics. Toes got done and it was time for the fill, didn't like the way the new acrylic was applied. It wasn't seamless at all. The paint job is terrible. The nail polish looks bumpy and not at all smooth. While moving to the drying station my nail got bumped because the nail polish was obviously wet, I asked her to fix it (I think her name was Amy) and with an attitude she says "OH MY GOD" which was unnecessary but I brushed it off. She wipes off all the polish and applies one coat then sends me to the drying station. I ask if she can put a second coat on and with another attitude she says she'll do it later. So Amy left a bad taste in my mouth. Then when it was time to pay I was expecting to pay $29 because a fill is $7 no toe polish is $12. The man tells me $32. I ask why and he says because of the length of my nails (which they're not long) and because of the shape (coffin nails). I've been getting my nails done since I was 13 and have never had to pay extra for a fill because my nails were shaped a certain way. I told them that price didn't make sense because it was only a fill, they didn't have to shape them because they were already shaped and the length was what I already had from a previous nail salon visit. $3 is nothing but I just feel like silly hikes in prices should be clearly noted on their sign. Regardless, I'm never coming back because not only did I dislike the attitudes, the work wasn't good either. I decided to try something new be I'm upset that I did. Read Less

I have been a customer for quite a few years. Lien and her staff are professional, friendly and always do their best to make sure that you are happy. They treat everyone with respect and are very kind people. I would not go anywhere else for my nails, pedicures or waxing. This place has become my go to for anything nails. I usually get a pedicure but they offer many different services. There are many options for parking even on a busy day. The pricing is fair and sensible. The service is always great as well. If you prefer to work with a specific technician you can call and make an appointment but I've never had a bad experience with anyone there so I just roll the dice with who will be available. The environment is very relaxed and I never feel awkward like I have in some other nail places. I have introduced many of my friends to this place and would recommend it to many more. Read Less

The owner picks favorites, treats others poorly otherwise. Never tries to help with getting in if you have a busy schedule. Always a good experience at Luv Lee Nails! They accidentally double booked me last week. They apologized and stayed there late to make sure my nails were done for my friends wedding! Drove here from Erie in dire need of a new set of nails and pedicure. I was pleased instantly. Most nail techs don't check but Win made sure she looked at my nails to note that my skin grows with my nails. Fantastic! Because she knew enough to not want to hurt me inadvertently. I had a standard pedicure which was refreshing and Win kept me good company with conversation. She took her time removing my previous full set which went terribly wrong and took gentle care in providing my new one. She recommended an almond shape that came out perfect. Had appointment for 5:45 arrived at 5:35 never once was I told sorry we are behind or we'll be with you in a minute 6:10 I walk out. The owner didnt seem to care that my time was wasted and I had other things to do. I was told can't do anything for you! Will not give my money to a business that doesn't care about faithful customers she refused a $5.00 discount. I understand being busy or getting behind just let me know something instead of just looking at me. That's proper customer service!! Got my nails done quick and without a wait. Only weird things were when the guy who started on my nails pulled out the cuticle cutter with someone else's cuticles left on it and quickly brushed them off before doing mine. Then a lady came and switched to finish my nails and said something about tricking me with using a color I didn't pick out because she knew she could.. Didn't really understand what she said. I hate going to get my nails done. It is always so awkward and I never know how to ask for what I want without sounding like a psycho beyotch. That being said, I've been going to the same salon for over 4 years. But, I moved. So I had to try something new. A lady I work with was coming here and said she comes all the time, so I decided to try it.It smelled veryyyyy strongly of acetone or just lots of polish when we walked in but I adjusted quickly. We were helped out right away. My girl was 22, (we bonded), and she helped me get exactly what I want. She didn't talk TOO much but she talked enough to make me comfortable at a new place. She took her time on my nails, each one, and didn't rush through anything. Dare I say, she did better than my old salon ever did in 4 years. I could not be happier with the service. I got black matte acrylics with gel. They are beautiful. It cost me $40, tipped $5, and it was well worth every penny. Very happy I can come here now that I popped my new nail salon cherry! Very nice and personal attention that I've honestly never experienced before at a nail salon...My technician noticed that the gel color was "shrinking" on my shorter nails.. I wasn't going to say anything but he took it upon himself to call over his owner and she fixed everything without even asking. (I have had this problem before and thought it was merely something I had to put up with due to my short length. Turns out, it's fixable!) I've been coming here for 3 years. I've tried other places. I always come back. They pay super close attention to my cave lady feet and hard working hands. There's never a long wait and they are always honest with you about how long it might be when they can't take you right away. This place has the usual products - OPI and Perfect Match polish and gel. I've never had anything less than a fabulous experience getting a mani-pedi. I recommend the spa pedi - they are generous with the leg mask and massage AND lotion. I used to be the only guy - sitting solo at my favorite salon - surrounded by 'many' beautiful women (not a bad thing, really!).  Now, more and more, there are other men who show up  to take care of ... necessities.There are two main reasons why I'm noticing this:  The first is that guys are getting more comfortable with a process that women have been accustomed to for years.  We're trying to do our part for our significant others to: keep the grey out, keep ourselves well groomed and - to stop shredding those expensive cotton sheets with unsightly toenails.  (By the way there are a few women guilty of that as well.  I do hope you ladies get the hedge clippers out.)Along the lines of crude instruments of torture, I know a few guys who, taking the matter into their own hands, plugged in their Dremmel and started carving away.  While this sounds wildly crude and caveman like (No offense to the Geico reps) - I assure you, it's been done.  I'm relieved though - that they're now comfortable enough  to seek out professionals and get the job done right.  The second reason I'm noticing this trend is because the place I'm talking about - Luv Lee Nails - just does a marvelous job for us guys.  They make us feel at home in what might sometimes be an uncomfortable and new frontier.  I can't speak for the women who use their services except to say that, when they leave, they look damn nice!  So dudes, (ahem...gents) whether you're planning a special night for you and your lady, or you just want credit for being considerate and thoughtful - come visit and drop your inhibitions at the door.  I'm sure the women in your life will tell you - it's worth it.
