Walked in on Saturday at 1:15 & asked if my sister and I could get a pedi. A woman said "I can't".... we thanked her and walked out. I imagine it was because she was the only one working, but she could have been more friendly about it- maybe offered an apology. Came here because the salon I booked my apt at had an emergency and had to cancel. Its SO dirty in here, pretty sure they don't clean their materials. Very limited in color selections so I had to go with something I didn't love. Gel manicure took 15 minutes which tells you the quality of it. Used lotion that made my hands itch instantly and they didn't do a hand massage. DONT GO HERE. Read Less

I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone! My aunt and I went for a mani and pedi for a wedding, and had a terrible experience. The staff wasn't friendly at all, and didn't listen to what my aunt wanted, they barely even spoke to us. My nails started chipping the same day, by the next day, which was the wedding I was in, every nail was chipped and the following day my entire manicure was gone. What can I say? This hidden gem is just that......a gem. Luanne is a master at gel, especially pink powder, which I still get, over my nails. 20 dollars for my visit, and it is perfect every time. And if by some chance it is not to your liking, she will fix it. She will not let you leave disappointed. Very nice, respectful, and cordial. I just started going here and I love the way they do my nails and especially my toes, I have diabetes and they look so beautiful when they finish, they do a more professional job better than my podiatrist. Used to go there all the time, new owners? Arrived at 10:30 on a Saturday, door still locked, asked by a woman to wait ten min. "Chinese new year". waited 15 in the car, went back to check, door now unlocked. Went in for a pedi, technicians never really spoke to us, no "thanks for waiting" just stony silence during entire pedi process. Big alert no customers!!! On a weekend that spells bad service! Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else! Pretty dirty in here outdated furniture. Only went here because the other 2 places I go to were packed. Went in to get stiletto nails girl said ok ok. I don't think knew more than that in English. Saw she was doing my nails square shaped so I pulled out a picture for her. She then had to call over another woman who had to shape my nails for me but they were more rounded since the first girl had them cut too short. The girl was super slow and timid and not another single person came in the whole time I was there so I'm guessing other people are not pleased with the service here. Read Less

Kind of gross. This place is where other salons send their used fixtures and equipment after they upgrade. Not only was the place itself gross, but the technician working on me had a terrible runny nose. Sniffling constantly during my pedicure. During my manicure she got up to blow her nose. She came back without washing her hands. I told her she needed to wash her hands. She went back to the sink and rinsed her hands for a second. I told her I needed her to really wash her hands with soap and warm water. At that point there was a non-English discussion between her and another tech. Then a third tech came out from the back and resumed my manicure. (Without saying a word to me.)  At the point in the manicure when I went to wash my hands I discovered what the problem was: they were out of soap! Just gross. There are MUCH better salons further north on Transit near the corner of Maple/Greiner. I don't know why I felt the need to try someplace new. Never again! Read Less

In Buffalo on business and desperately needing my nails done, I found this little gem of a shop in a sleepy plaza.  Amazed at finding something open on the Sunday after Fourth of July, I walked in and was readily greeted.  They took care of me right away!  Wow!!They aren't heavy on nail colour selection, but that doesn't matter to me!  I always use OPI Affair in Red Square as my colour and keep it on me at all times.  I had a nice refill job done and was pleased with the results.  The shop is clean, has mani and pedi equipment that is modem, and low frills.  The skills are top notch!  Who needs frills when you truly need skills!?!Your return investment is a great nail refill for only 15 bucks!  That makes this salon a prize find!!  Yes, you can use credit card.  They do prefer cash, of course, but are flexible.  All their prices on services, including art work and gel, are very reasonable.  The salon is family-run by very pleasant Vietnamese people.  I felt very comfortable and welcomed.  Thank you for my Best Nails, Period!! Visiting family in the area and desperately needed some new gel nails after I had spent the previous night chipping mine off. I arrived at 9:30, since that's when they open on Fridays according to Yelp, but the sign on the door said they didn't open until 10. Fortunately my parents live closeby so leaving and coming back wasn't a big deal.Definitely one of the older/less welcoming nail salons I've been to... dim lights, could use some new furniture, carpeting and decor. Their selection of gel colors was pretty slim (mostly traditional reds and pinks, nothing super trendy).My gel polish change was short, sweet and only $15. Manicurist did a decent job. I was not impressed with this salon.  There was no hand or foot/leg massage included done during my mani/pedi.  I've never not gotten a massage as part of the experience.  The manicure polish was applied so thickly that my nails didn't dry.  I won't return. Read Less

This is hands down the best nail salon I have been to. The owner is very welcoming as she greets you immediately when you walk in. The waiting area has  a very comfortable sofa and some magazines to choose from if there is a wait. You are able to make an appointment but she will take walk ins as well. Her nail art is amazing. She ranges from elegant, abstract, festive, to simple. I have had pedicures done as well as acrylic nails. She does offer gel nails which is what my mother and aunt choose.
