I was in today, 9/30/17, and my experience was very disappointing. The nail tech (the only one wearing glasses) that gave me a mani/pedi was unsatisfactory. Her attention to detail was poor--I had to ask her to go back to clean and cut certain areas she'd missed several times--and her foot and hand massage was the equivalent of a "dead fish" handshake (i.e. such light pressure to the point where it was tickling me and very annoying and almost gross). She scrubbed the bottom of my feet so lightly that it was all I could do not to kick her involuntarily, and I had to ask her to do it harder.  She also cut my cuticles too deeply, and I actually gasped a few times and said Ow! She continued without seeming to notice my discomfort. I also think it's ridiculous that a man or anyone who doesn't get polish has to pay the same as someone who does--there should be a slightly cheaper option. And if you don't get polish, it shouldn't cost extra for buffing instead. Read Less

I absolutely love getting gel manicures solely because they're supposed last at least two weeks. I've gone here three times for gel manicures. All three times at least four of my nails were chipped within five days. With that being said, I will not return. Read Less

Adequate. Most of the time I walk away disappointed from these discount / Asian nail salons but this one isn't bad for the price. @28.00$ for a Mani/pedi they do a good job cleaning and painting nails. They won't remove callus's or scrub dead skin aggressively unless you opt for one of their special treatments. The color selection is extensive and the place is kept pretty clean. This is my go-to neighborhood nail salon. It is clean, reasonably priced, and has a great selection of Essie and OPI. The nail technicians are skilled and a manicure usually lasts me for at least 5 days without chipping (as long as I don't do any dishes). I come here every week and am never disappointed. Read Less

Had a lovely basic pedicure courtesy of Tina, who is the most gentle nail tech I've ever had in my life. Not one jab or pinch. I was the last customer of the night and getting a pretty basic service yet I did not feel rushed at all. The ladies here are quiet and let you zone out which is nice because I hate chatty salons. Yes there's no greeter, and you need to make eye contact when you walk in so that someone mental notes you into the queue, but so what? At this price I don't need a welcoming committee. They sterilize the tools in an autoclave and they keep the place tidy and peaceful. The pedicure itself was immaculately done. I rarely get manicures because I am an artist and work with my hands - needless to say they usually last me only 24 hrs before chipping. I needed a manicure for an event, so not wanting to spend a lot of money (knowing that manis last me 24 hrs), I went to this place with hopes that it would just last me a day. Well I'm on day 3 and there are no signs of chipping or wear! No frills place, and I can't say that is the most gentle manicure that I've had but for $9 and it has lasted me through three work days and is still going strong, I will definitely go back more often! I am not a traitor. I absolutely love my nail salon and my nail lady and i am faithful to her, but when these prices keep getting higher, it forces me to cheat. In search of a nail salon/spa in my area (park slope) with old school prices is tough! I did my research and read tons of reviews and filtered through so many places but i finally found one. Pink Nail Spa has amazing prices. I came here on a Sunday around 5 and to my surprise it was packed. The lady told us it wouldn't be long and to pick a color.  Now prices can be fine but if low quality is matching low price then i rather just pay millions for a manicure since i have OCD when it comes to my nail services.  I must say i got a regular manicure which came out fairly nice! No complaints. I also had eyebrow waxing which i take seriously since i have thick eyebrows and one slip could do severe damage. She did them perfect!!!!!! Which made my experience awesome!I will most definitely come back here for all my needs! After reading mixed yelp reviews about literally every salon in park slope, I went into pink for a basic manicure simply because they are across from my pet store. It was a Thursday afternoon and there was no wait. They are not exceedingly clean, well organized or friendly, but I found them pleasantly efficient and competent. Basically nobody talked at all which was sort of nice. I thought it was odd that they ask you to pay before they put on polish, but I did and tipped the girl well because she had already done a really great job on my cuticles, which were haggard. Much better than my stop before!  No frills kind of establishment. You let them know what you want and they tell you the very reasonable price. Full stop. Period. Point blank! The price never changed like that shop Floomie a few doors down. The name has been changed to protect the guilty....or me. The nail techs are professional. My service was quick. I was allowed to choose the amount of colours I wanted and if I felt like painting each of my nails a different color t'was my prerogative at no extra cost, especially as I'm using no additional service or varnish. I like them but the shop as small as it is was a bit crowded. If I'm in the area and in need of I'll be here but only if I'm in the area. Thanks guys. The End. Read Less

I have to say my first experience here was absolutely marvelous. I stumbled across on my way back from Whole Foods. They have an affordable rate for mani pedi for $22. The nail technician that I had was named Shirley. She was absolutely amazing! She gave the best massage I have ever had by adding a ten minute foot massage service ($10). She offered to sample different colors on my nails, spoke English well enough, very sweet and calming. She payed close attention to detail. The color selection here was wonderful. I will most definitely be coming back. Wish they had a mon-wed type special. I know $22 is affordable for most but it's great when they have another bonus deal. The space was very clean. Read Less
