This was my first time there. I didn’t have an appointment and chose to wait and it was worth it! Friendly staff. Clean salon. My pedicure and gel manicure are still holding up and it’s going on three weeks.
I’m going back tomorrow. Prayerfully they will live up to my expectations and surpass that! 😊

Tips literally popped off three days after having them on. I paid 50 bucks for something that came off like as it were from the 99 cents store. Never going back

Consistent. Nice people, they use chocolate wax for eyebrows. Ask for Sarah. My boyfriends entire family goes here and now so will I.

Aside from the wait... but then again, I visited on an early Saturday afternoon so a wait is expected... I can say "Nail Salon" is by far one of the better nail salons I've ever visited because of the complimentary services they offer every customer! Today was my first visit and I requested a Basic mani and pedi. My pedicure included a paraffin wax on my heel. I also received a shoulder massage while my nails dried. And later, assistance from the nail tech who applied oil to my toe nails then wrapped plastic around my feet Before helping me place my boots on. Above and Beyond is how I'll describe "Nail Salon". 4 Stars all the way!

They are the best. They won't rush you even when it's busy. 23 for a man pedi mon-thurs can't be beat.

I've tried so many other nail salons, but no place compares to the friendly faces and awesome back rubs at Nail Island - best place around, hands down.

Wow, I must say .. Nail Island is such a great spot! I must say I love Sara, she makes you feel so welcomed and she shows appreciation! Ask for Sara, she's great! The place is very clean, and very comfortable. Thankfully I live on City island, so I could just walk to Nail Island :)

Worse place ever . I came to remove my tips and make powder manicure , she is not take off my old tips , not fill them at all ,all nails are different size. She decided do gel ,because she thinks its the best way ,but i am the one who has to pay . So she did not remove or fill my old tips and ,put on glue 4 times i dont know what for . Then when she did finished my gel nails it was so thick omg !!!!!!!!!!! So ugly and this is 40$ , i will never ever again listen anyone and go there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And even this 1 star its too much for this place

One of the best places I've ever been for a pedicure. Reasonably priced and an awesome bang for your buck. They don't cut corners and do a great job!

Love the atmosphere! Staff is very friendly! Prices are worth it. However, the technician's aren't too hip with designs.

Maybe I'm breaking some unspoken code of silence on keeping our our local nail salon a secret. I don't know why there are no reviews; Sara and her staff deserve kudos. Every few weeks I get a pedicure...
Maybe I'm breaking some unspoken code of silence on keeping our our local nail salon a secret. I don't know why there are no reviews; Sara and her staff deserve kudos. Every few weeks I get a pedicure. I have experimented with a number of other nail salons in our area, and Nail Island is the best. A pedicure price is about the same at all the salons, but the quality of the pedicure and the ambiance vary a lot. The worst was a salon that had a detective show playing loudly on the TV that involved body parts. Very hard to tune out while someone is massaging your legs and using sharp clippers ... Nail Island is clean, quiet, and friendly. The pedicure is thorough; very good foot and leg massage. Big selection of colors.

This was my first time there. I didn’t have an appointment and chose to wait and it was worth it! Friendly staff. Clean salon. My pedicure and gel manicure are still holding up and it’s going on three weeks.
